I called because the flex hose on top of my water heater was spewing water and there was a lot of…read morewater on the floor. From a YouTube video, I saw that it was relatively short and easy to fix, but still wanted a professional to fix it. I called Plymouth Plumbing and Heating and got a quote of $149 an hour, $25 travel charge plus parts and labor. 2 workers came (i was surprised by this, but figured one of them was on the job training) and told me what I already knew....the flex hose needed to be replaced and finished the job in about 30 minutes. I expected a bill about $275. The bill was for $413. I was a bit surprised that their hourly rate starts from when they leave the shop (20 minutes away), which I was not told about. But what really surprised me was that I was billed $280 for the labor done by the two workers. I was quoted an hourly rate of $149 and the actual work took about 30 minutes. Even with traveling time of 40 minutes, that would be at the most 1.10 hours, nowhere near $280. After several correspondences, they still insisted that I owed for the labor of the extra worker...even though they never said in their quote that the labor per hour would be doubled if they sent two workers! I believe that Plymouth Plumbing & Heating acted in bad faith. They should go by what they quote. The work done was fine and they used copper fittings instead of flex hose, but it was not worth $400 job. They did deduct $50 after I complained, but the bill was still at least $50 more than what I expected , based on their quote and how long it took to do the work. I would definitely ask them to i get a more solid quote BEFORE they start.

Horrible company. We have their product good product but the company is horrible to deal with…read more Their billing practices are outdated and get everything wrong. They over charge you. I had 2 different employees tell me that because I rent the system that the service is not as good as a person that bought one! I needed to have a filter repacked and the employee told me the boss lady won't let it be repacked as it is costly and I'm just renting so boss lady won't want to spend the money ! If you call for service you have to wait until the repair man is in your area so could be 2 weeks sometimes . There system broke down leaving a horrific smell in my basement and through the house and when I called for service was told it may be over a week before they could get a repair man out . I wish I could fill boss lady home with that horrible smell and see if she would put up with it! I was tired shoddy system and it's problems and the service company so I had the system removed and company left a leaking pipe but when I called and complained they couldn't come out until the next day and then would charge me parts and labor to fix as repair man said it wasn't leaking when he left so the leak was my fault! No professional service from this two rivers company. Be aware-stay away

Last November, we finally figured out why we had such high electric bills each month: our well…read morepump was running constantly. We called Action Sewer and Well Pump figuring we had to replace the entire pump. Action quickly figured out that the pump was fine, but we had a leak in the pipe leading to the house. Because it was underground, we never saw the water. When all was said and done, Action replaced the underground pipe, which was a bit challenging because it was an older style pipe and quite long. We were so pleased with the repair and the cost. Action could have told us our whole system needed replacement and we would never have known the difference. Thank you for your honesty and integrity. When the time comes for a new pump, we will be calling Action!!

They came when my parents were there and left without a comment and so I assumed it was fixed. After a week it came back on again and I had to follow up with Wilkes where they said they had to come back out since they couldn't get to it directly and had to go through the basement ceiling. They came back out again, charged me more money for the 2nd trip, and said it was fixed. Side note, they had to call a third party Jacuzzi service for advice on how to fix it. A few months later the same problem started again and I called them to see if they would come out and fix it but to my surprise said that because it has been over 60 days, that I'd have to either make another claim with the home warranty service or hire them direct at $60 per trip + $110 per hour. They do not do a quality job to start or on the 2nd time around nor do they warranty their work more than 60 days so I would definitely not recommend this company.
