Highly personal, engaging and interactive experience. We made pasta, fish and dessert. Along the way, we asked numerous questions, about everything from terminology to sodium in salt to types of Olive oil and how to properly dice. Julie is an expert and happily shared her knowledge. All of the ingredients were high quality, including the salt and balsamic vinegar, and the fish and the pasta. Each dish was paired with a bottle of wine, and Julie even had a snack for us to enjoy while we cooked. Julie's house is lovely. We dined al fresco on her patio underneath the large oak trees. We were scheduled for 4 hours but Julie took her time with us. We ended up being there for 5 and a half hours. It was a lovely experience and one that we would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. While the programs themselves seemed promising, the interactions we had left us feeling uncomfortable. Something about the overall atmosphere and the way some of the people there interacted with us just didn't feel welcoming. More importantly, my children also said they felt uncomfortable, and as a parent, that's something I have to take seriously. Every family's experience may be different, and I'm glad organizations like this exist to support the arts. However, for us, the environment simply wasn't the right fit. I genuinely hope Nimbus Arts continues to grow and reflects on ways to create a warmer, more inclusive, and more comfortable experience for every family who walks through its doors.

My kid has made pancakes (didn't pour them or cook them), no-bake cookie bites and "moose crunch". The pancakes he came back with were two cookie cutter size pancakes. There was 4 small No-Bake cookie bites. The moose crunch was literally Cheerios and a little bit of marshmallows and m&m candies in a snack size bag. There was no cooking whatsoever, he's done nothing but assemble ingredients and wash dishes. So he's come back home with $0.60 worth of ingredients. A $177 class! There is ZERO communication from this person. I got ONE email from her the entire time we were registered and it states they're going to charge parents for being late and will charge parents for takeaway boxes. This lady is LATE EVERY CLASS and she always ends the class early! Today was the ONE class my kids were to attend because SHE cancelled 2 of the 3 classes for the month so we got there at 10:00, as it says in the ONE email I got, and the lady at reception told me the class was moved to 9:30! This lady didn't bother emailing or calling or texting that there was a time change! I paid $352 for my two kids to NOT ATTEND EVEN ONE CLASS, and you better believe she doesn't bother reimbursing! I really wanted to love this program, my son absolutely loves cooking but WOW, I have never encountered such an unprofessional business ever. Don't waste your money, don't waste your time, you will be disappointed and what's worse, your kids will be disappointed.

We were all given recipes of different cheesecakes. The best part is the tasting part. We got to taste every cheesecake on the recipe sheet. Loved it! What a wonderful bunch of warm and upbeat people! I gave them opportunities to design and paint fine art notecards; paint on fabric to make a pennant and a group personal "Flag project"; collage and paint a "Treasure Box" using vintage cigar boxes (thanks to Community Projects store in downtown Napa); cut, design/layout in pattern- colored paper shapes like artist Matisse did in his later years; design and glue natural objects-beach glass, twigs and smooth stones-into people, cats, dogs, lighthouses-painting the backgrounds, for 3D effect works of art. The resulting art was incredible, and the camaraderie between them was heartwarming. Such creative minds, and intriguing personalities! A wonderful time was had by all, including me!

He started in the day care program and was advanced into the pre-school program because the staff realized that he was bored in day care and so asked if they could transition him into pre-school even though he was younger than the norm. He blossomed and by the time he was entering kindergarten he had completed portions of the pre-school program twice. He was happy and ready to enter public school. I would highly recommend Young World of Learning, the children are well cared for, they are motivated and entertained. The pre-school program followed the Napa Valley Unified district program. They are a christian based program, a wonderful start for your minds.

Tim, of Happy Napa, knows what makes the Napa region the jewel that it is. I wanted to visit some small wineries and do some tasting. Tim has connections with nearly everybody who is somebody and that made for a way beyond expectations experience. Not only did I get behind the scenes VIP tours of each facility we visited but Tim really knows his stuff about the tasting process. Happy Napa made me feel like a VIP on winery tours, plus their suggestions on after hours activity was spot on. From lodging to restaurant and nightlife. I think next time I'll have them arrange a morning hot air ballon ride.
