We made out here, in pure Texas fashion, with a white pick-up truck and car blasting some Wheeler Walker, Jr. I saw the reviews and food on Yelp-- and it seemed like one of the better trucks. We struck a wonderful conversation wit the owners, and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. I opted for the grilled salmon and roasted potatoes. My relative went with that and the chicken and waffles. We were impressed with the food, but the portion was relatively small. I would say order two items because of the small portion. This is by far and away the best food on the North Shore. It's fresh, it's hot, and it's cooked to order. Everything is good, really good. Chef Stephen and Hagen are amazing hosts. They're friendly and interested in the people of our community. They never forget a face and are genuinely happy to see you. Despite the fact they're preparing everything fresh, it never takes too long. People in line are friendly and there are places to sit and wait. It's a good way to pass the few minutes it takes your order to cook. I've had the beef protein bowl (twice), the chicken and waffles, the slider trio, the Cuban sandwich, the salmon and Brussels sprouts (3 times) - I don't even like Brussels sprouts, but i like these. I was on vacation with my kids and came here to check out all the food trucks. We saw the exp truck, and it sounded great. First impressions: There are no prices for the food on the menu, so your ordering blind. Everything sounded great, so I didn't care too much, but after I received my receipt, it was almost $70 for three of us. The food was ok, pretty healthy servings, but it was just ok. We wanted some desserts that were on the menu, but we we're informed they didn't have any available. Overall, it was a fun one-time experience. read more

I think this place is new but all of the people in front of me were regulars so I know it was good. The owner is working the line and preparing food order. My son had the chicken and waffles and refused to let me taste it because it was so good. I had the protein bowl. It was a seared seasoned shredded steak with crispy deep-fried Brussel sprouts. It was super reasonably priced with the chicken and waffles only being $8 and the protein bowl $10. The chef owner came out and checked on us halfway through the meal. Love supporting local. Y'all, this food is bomb! Locally sourced and full of flavor for a reasonable price...Ohh and the chefs couldn't be more personable, you can tell that they really love what they do. At my first visit I tried the breakfast sandwich on a fresh biscuit, sorry forgot to snap a pic...and it was DELICIOUS, crave-able good. Today I ordered carnitas street tacos based on a recommendation, and the flavor was on point. Super grateful to have found this gem in the Lago food truck park. Went there for first time last night. Ordered food to go - only one person workin Got home with traditional burger. It was brown on outside RAW after first bite- one pickle , a little Swiss cheese and buns were so greasy. I had to cook my burger- In order to eat. Just a few fries. My daughter's burger - no flavor and tasted funny - it was thrown away- We paid $16.00 for each burger. I am really disappointed on what we got. I feel for the lady working by herself and I heard her say to people she ran out of food. Not sure I will go back. read more

They have awesome breakfast sandwiches, crazy amazing street tacos and burritos, panini sandwiches, bowls, burgers and specials. They're happy to help with any dietary restrictions, and if they have the ingredients they'll make just about anything you can think of! Also asked for a "cinnamon something cold coffee (I wasn't sure what to order so I was open to whatever they recommended)," and they handed me a delicious cold brew with cinnamon and vanilla. Ugh! I went with my wife and my Mother-in-law and it was amazing. It isn't just the food, it's how friendly and comforting they are. My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's and has a lot of trouble talking to people who can't just make her feel at home no matter what she says. They were able to roll with her conversation and keep her feeling at ease through the whole meal. You might think that was just one interaction, but really, they made everyone who came up someone that they could have a real conversation with the next time they make it back. Now... The FOOD! If you are worried about what's on the menu, don't worry! You could literally just select the top of the list this time, then the second on the next trip, etc. and _never_ be disappointed.
