They just completed a weekend of one upscale reception with heavy appetizers, all freshly prepared, no freezer food, to the next day in another city for lunch and dinner. It went late then they were there with the same crew for lunch followed by dinner (over 250 people). A yummy dutch oven dinner of ribs, chicken, cheese potatoes, beans and cobbler. Thanks Iron Gate. They take good care of their clients. No need to worry the food won't be good. They also travel to other locations in Utah.

First time two weeks ago, the lady on the other side could not hear me and I had to repeat my order at least four times before I gave up and left. I went yesterday and ordered this time but waited at the window for at least 11 minutes before I gave up and drove off. No one came to greet me or take my money. I just waited and waited until I couldn't wait any longer because I had kids in the car that were getting antsy. Went somewhere else to get food. If I was the manager, I would retrain his staff that take care of drive up. Its always a good wait but its been ridiculous lately. I even purposely ordered something I thought would be fast so I didn't have to wait long but it didn't work. If you want to go eat, park and go inside.

I will mention it but it is not the most important factor. Pauni brings a bit of island flavour to landlocked Logan. Pauni Island Grill dishes are not heavily spiced but it is characterized by the use of coconut milk and cream. Mixing savory with sweet. We ordered the following with a side of white rice and macaroni salad: Palu Sami (Corn Beef with Coconut Cream): It was like island comfort on a plate, the salty corned beef in coconut cream sauce is a perfect viand to steamed rice, its salty, its fatty, its meaty and very savoury, it's a simple dish. Sweet and Sour Meatballs: This is a cozy dish comprised of meatballs smothered with a sweet and sticky Polynesian pineapple sauce. Lord of Mercy, a little goes a long way. This dish is good but sometimes I find the sauce is too sweet. But that's just fine b/c it balances out with the white rice. Both dishes together in a combo meal, makes me feel good, rub my belly, and close my eyes wishing I was on the beach. This place is simple. If you are expecting fancy bells and whistles, go else where. I love visiting their establishment because eating their food is like tasting a blend of Hawaii's historical influences together which form a new eclectic modern cuisine for Loganites to experience.
