I've been here twice: once in 2005 and again in 2016. As far as I could recall, the show had not changed a bit and it's the best Granada has to offer as far as flamenco if you ask me. For 20 Euro/person (one drink included), you will be entertained for at least a solid hour and will definitely leave feeling as though you got your money's worth. They do ask for a credit card in advance to reserve your seat, which is understandable considering each of the two rooms they separate the crowd off into gets packed. Each room probably seats 50 people and they do at least 3 shows per night. Those poor flamenco dancers must be muy cansado by day's end. They also serve tapas if you arrive early enough. They recommend getting there 15 minutes ahead of time. The hake fish was delicious and probably one of the best tapas I had over the course of a 10 day trip to Spain. Warning: the seats are very, very tiny and crammed right up against the person to your left and to your right, so if you're claustrophobic, this is probably not the place for you. My back also started to get sore into the hour, but my neck probably got the worst of it trying to keep my eyes on the dancers.

Location: In the Medieval Moorish district of Albaicin (Granada, Andalusia, Spain) that was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Setting: The cave "cueva" is small and intimate, which makes you up close to the flamenco dancers to see the amazing footwork and feel like you're part of the show. Pro Tip: Grab some sangria and tapas if you're waiting for a show, which lasts 1 hour (2 halves). The first half is a wedding "La Boda" followed by the second half of traditional Spanish flamenco called "Granada". Info: Feel free to read up on their shows on their website (http://cuevalarocio.es/espectaculos/?lang=en).

There are a few of these places but went with this one based on the reviews. They are pretty accurate it's pretty amazing! They tear up those floors! It's awesome. I believe they have different package deals like they can pick you up, dinner, and show for like $60eu. We just showed up on our own and got lucky go squeezed into 1 of the shows.. They do book very quickly it is better to reserve if you can. I paid $20 for the show only. Only reason for not giving it a 5 is the seats are very tightly squeezed in so your pretty much all up on your neighbor or vice versa.

Review Highlights - Cueva La Rocío

We took a bus to the cave or cuevas de Sacromonte, where the gypsies live for a flamenco show in the cueva.

3 stars for the falafel and the view of Alhambra…read more We got "chicken nuggets" for the little one - it's not what you/we thought! It's like a deep fried ball of gravy-shredded chicken breast, not whole chunks. I got the salad roquefort, which is a mixed salad with blue cheese dressing and not even cheese crumbles! Wife got the falafel and the little ate most of it. The hummus was a salty. The seating area is large but divided by different restaurants.

This is a review for any of the bars/restaurants that seat you outdoors in this area (but we…read moreordered from "La Fuente" specifically). THESE ARE ALL SCAMS. They are determined to make the most money they can off tourists without providing an authentic culinary experience. 1. The waiter drew us in with promises of 100% halal food. Once ordering we found out in fine print that only 3 items on the menu are halal. 2. Everything is overpriced. A thin layer of paella that is watery, tasteless, and had artificial calamari cost 15 Euros. I left feeling hungry and cheated. A good rule of thumb: if a restaurant advertises paella with the same stock photos as the other places around it, you can be sure it's going to be junk. 3. I'm only giving two stars because the "Eggplant with Honey" tapa was tasty and the "Falafel" was the creamiest I've ever had. BUT the hummus tasted really bad, overpowered with oil and tajin, and the papas fritas was lame.
