A hidden gem in Cuero! Yes, they carry all things pecan for personal and gift-giving pursuits. Fresh pecans, homemade spiced snacks and preserves, and one called Fire Poppers, which are spicy hot pretzels in packages. My kids are so addicted, I have to ship boxes to them in SC regularly. The real surprise here is the catering component! They have a daily menu of small and large casseroles that they carefully craft with the best ingredients, fresh or frozen. I'm working my way through ordering everyone for myself and others. The chicken pot pie, chicken spaghetti, and carne guisada are fabulous! Their homemade bread pudding casserole is the star here, though, being one of the best I've ever had. Great for breakfast leftover too! We were in Rockport and stopped by looking for pecan pie. We were pleasantly surprised to find frozen entrees available. I bought the carne guesada , and it was sooooo delicious! Visited the rockport location and we got a bag of chex mix, a pecan pie and a variety of the cookies. The cookies wets AWESOME!!!! I really liked the Red Ranger cookies, but all the cookies were really good. The pie was pretty good too. And the trail mix was super interesting. It was a salty sweet combo. read more

The epitome of southern comfort food! Their chicken spaghetti was absolutely the best I've ever had. We will be ordering it for our family reunion. The lasagna was also incredibly delicious. The salads were so much more than your basic Greek or garden salad - loaded with incredibly fresh veggies. Then there's the desserts! We had the largest, most flavorful chocolate chip cookie - I could almost not finish it (but I had to because it was so good!). Then, to top it all off, we had their special hot chocolate! Run and taste this - it was so flavorful! Most hot chocolates I can pass on, but the special spices they put in theirs makes it extraordinary! We will be frequenting this spot for our catering needs, but also when we just happen to be passing through Cuero. The restaurant is big, and I love the long family-sized tables. My family loves the maple citrus pecans, but they were sold out when we stopped by. They have a ton of other flavored pecan options and a few other food items.
