Dr. Cuento take great care of our son. He's also very detail when he's explaining the situation. Unlike other doctor that only tell you to just take so and so medicine and send you off. He actually go over the cause of the illness and what helps. He also go over what each medicine does so we have a better understanding when certain emergency arise. I took my 4 months baby there today and the office was very clean and organized. The nurse and the doctor are awesome they answered all my questions and were very gentle with my baby girl. She had her 4 months vaccines and it went very smooth. I will for sure keep going to them and I recommend all moms to take their babies there. read more

Dr Joseph Cuento is an amazing Doctor. He has been taking care of our daughter from the very beginning and couldn't be happier. Him and his staff are always very friendly and efficient. That being said, the Doctor still takes his time and gives your kid quality care. He will stay with you until all your questions are answered and you're confident into what medical plan/procedure he has done or will be doing . I would recommend this Doctor to anyone for their baby. If by chance we have another, that kid will be going here too. Also failed to mention that when they gave my kid her immunizations, they did it so well that my kid didn't even flinch. There are two Doctor Cuentos- Alicia and Joseph, mother and son. I deal most with Dr. Joseph Cuento and he is pretty much the doctor you want all doctors to be like. I referred one of my good friends to this office and he called me after his daughter's first visit raving about his experience. He couldn't believe how good Dr. Cuento was and said, "You know, you almost don't want to tell anyone else about him because you want to keep him a secret so he doesn't get too busy." Too late, buddy. Dr. Cuento is so great that they don't do walk-ins because they are just booked out like crazy weeks in advance. He has patients whom drive over an hour just to see him. I found out about Dr. Cuento over seven years ago when I needed a new pediatrician after my daughter was born. One nurse at Arcadia Methodist was the one who referred him as she all gushed about him and how wonderful he was, "When he does his pediatric rounds in the morning, before he touches the babies, he warms his hands up under the heat up." When a doctor is that considerate from the get-go, he is the one you want for your child. We have all four of our children under 18 go to him and it has been the best health decision we have ever made for them. He explains everything clearly, articulately and intelligently without arrogance. He doesn't rush you or your child and try to get you out so he can knock out as many appointments as he can. He patiently answers all your questions and asks if you have anymore. If there is a prescription, he sends it electronically to your pharmacy so it's ready for pick-up when you get there. The thing I really appreciate about him is that he will fight with me regarding their health or correct me if he thinks I'm making a false statement. I think this is what egotistical people call him arrogant for, because he doesn't back down against the parent when it comes to the health of his patients. He insisted that I take my son to get his hearing checked, despite my arguments against it saying that he was fine (spoiler alert: my son wasn't and isn't fine but thanks to Dr. Cuento's insistence and his diligence in following up about it, my son will live a normal life). His office is amazingly on top of it all and I don't know how they manage that because I've seen how crazy busy they are all the time. How they can keep up with all their patients blows me away. I didn't know medical care in this country could be this great. He will have his medical staff call you and follow up on whether you've made the referral appointment(s) for your kids and ask about the visit and results if they haven't heard back from the other doctors themselves. I CANNOT say enough good things about Dr. Cuento. I will be very sad when my children age out and can no longer see him as their pediatric doctor. But for the time being, we will make the most of our visits with him. Post-note: There is only one staff member I do not like and I will not call her out by name but she handles things such as payments. She is not as competent as she should be and I have butted heads several times with her over her incompetency in the past. read more

I meet Dr. Cuento when I had my twin boys. At Methodist Hospital. He was doing my regulars Dr. rounds since she was out for that weekend. I loved the way he explained everything to me. He took his time to exam baby A since Baby B was in NICU. Once discharge my NICU doctor recommends Dr. Cuento to us. I moved all of my 3 Kids to his practice. Best decision I ever made. He and his staff are great. They follow up with test results they actually call you to remind you of upcoming appointments. Dr. Cuento actually returns the phone calls himself. Knowing Dr. Cuento for years, he is not an arrogant person. He's the kind of person who treats you as a family. Always so concerned about my 4 kids whenever they are sick. He's very thorough & can diagnose them easily. He takes time to listen and answer our questions as they are asked. Never had a temper even though there are lot of patients. A lot of patients because he's a very good doctor with good manners. I highly recommend him & will be coming regularly as our pediatrician for he knows what he is doing.
