I cannot thank Four Paws Inn enough for the care they gave my Great Dane, Chakra. After trying…read moremultiple grooming locations and even my vet without success, they were finally able to trim her nails and it truly felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I was beginning to feel hopeless, and their patience, confidence and kindness meant more to me than they probably realize. What I also love about Four Paws Inn is how much active play and interaction the dogs receive throughout the day. The last time Chakra attended daycare, she was actively playing from 8am-12pm and again from 2pm-6pm. That is incredible and so important for dogs, especially giant breeds with lots of energy and social needs. Some places keep dogs crated most of the day with very limited playtime, so finding a place where she is truly engaged, cared for and able to enjoy herself gives me such peace of mind. The entire team has been wonderful and I am beyond grateful for the love and care they show Chakra every time she visits. Highly, highly recommend.

My first dog was a rescue and went through training with Lisa Marie, who did an excellent job. He ended up attending daycare almost every weekday of his life until he passed in 2022 at the age of 18. To this day I attribute his long life to the love (and the activity) that he was given by the staff at Four Paws on a daily basis. Since his passing I got a new puppy that has been attending daycare every weekday as well. She can't wait to go every day, and rushes to the front door when we arrive in the morning. You know that you are at a great place for your dog when the staff is as excited to see the dog as much as your dog is excited to see them. The prices at Four Paws are very reasonable, especially compared to other options nearby. I have temporarily tried other facilities (mostly due to the pandemic), but none stand up to the level of Four Paws. I've recommended them to other dog owners I know and they are now regular daycare attendees as well. If you bring your dogs to Four Paws both you and your dogs will not be disappointed!

He's family, and like many dogs, he's had separation anxiety--until we found this amazing team. Whether it's day care or boarding, I drop him off with complete peace of mind, knowing he's loved and cared for. After his recent 7-day "staycation," I was warmly greeted by Lane, who instantly knew I was there for Benji. Mari graciously checked me out, and Avery was an absolute delight--polite, professional, and kind. These three were wonderful! Benji looked happy and well-loved, but I was both glad and sad--glad he had fun, but sad he didn't seem ready to leave! That told me everything: The Ruff House is his second home. Special thanks to Ms. Taylor S. and Ms. Brit--your love and care mean the world to us. The Ruff House = professionalism + heart. Forever grateful!

I try to get our pup there at least once a week for day care, but this past weekend we boarded him for the first time. They have luxury state rooms that include a complimentary basic bath, play time, and room service! The staff is always friendly and greet us with respect/smiles each time. My pup loves going to daycare and is excited right when we pull into the parking lot. I've never had any issues with our pup getting sick or coming home with markings from other dogs. I love that the Ruff House conduct temperament tests to see if a dog is ready for group play.

Ten years later, we had a lab (who we trained to become therapy dog with the skills we learned thru the years from CTU) and mix breed dog who had lived with us since they were puppies, but we were worried about how they would do with a new baby as I was pregnant. We took some refresher obedience classes to remind two and four legged beings of what "good house manners" are, and I took their new baby class. I'm thrilled to say that our dogs and our babies are the best of friends. If you and your dog need an etiquette tune up, if you're expecting a new arrival, or if you're looking to start from training day one, they're the folks for you.

We boarded our dogs there, when Four Paws Inn still had overnight boarding. Most recently, we completed puppy kindergarten and basic/ beginner training with our newest puppy. Lisa Marie and Caitlin are both amazing trainers, of both dogs and their humans. They are skilled at seeing each dog's strengths and challenges, all in the context of small group training classes. They provide coaching to owners on strategies to prevent issues, as well as showing you corrections to make when a problem arises. Their training classes are held indoors, and there is plenty of parking. Both basic and puppy kindergarten include in-person training and weekly zoom meetings to discuss questions and problems. Their training classes are helpful for both new and experienced dog owners. We are looking forward to continuing the next level of training very soon!

We had worked on getting him in for months, paid extra for shots that other daycare places don't require, passed their temperament test, raced to call in and reserve daycare - that is, if we weren't put on the waiting list. I was made aware of their strict policy of dogs acting out: One strike and you're out. It was also his first day there and I can only imagine that my dog was feeling anxious on his first day as some children or normal people would be at their first day at anything. I'm also disappointed in hearing how they handled my dog. He's been going to doggy daycare since he was a puppy, has worked this multiple dog trainers throughout the years, and not once have I heard professionals grab dogs by their collar in the middle of a fight. We were taught by our trainers and past doggy daycare centers not to do that. This is extremely unfortunate because our dog's vet is right next door and now we'll have to explore a further option for us. I only recommend this place if you're interested in spending weeks to fulfill their requirements, pay for additional shots, fight every week to be that "special caller" that'll be granted daycare (you can only reserve a week in advance - if you're lucky), and cross your fingers that your dog doesn't get hit with the "one strike and you're out" policy. Oh, and also be fine with workers that resort to pulling a dog's collar in the middle of a fight. Just a tip, one of our dog's last daycare places used bitter apple spray before resorting to touching the dogs.

Our dog went several days a week for a year and a half until we moved away, and we loved everything about it. She would get SO excited to go see her pup friends/staff. The staff treated her like their own, were always extremely communicative, sent home daily report cards, and who doesn't love seeing silly pictures of their dog playing/getting dressed up everyday? Big plus that they're next to the vet as well. If you're not able to get on the "regular" list, then you just need to be diligent about calling a week ahead to schedule your days before they fill up. Highly recommend!!!!!
