Hey help, so my dogs have came to this place a few times. They are close by and the price WAS good. Now the price is inflated and the job is subpar. I have quality dogs show dogs. The groomer chopped everything, left hair long on ears sloppy cut the paw. Also, my dogs was shaking when I picked them up. These are very well taken care of pets and have never been scared about their cut they normally are happy full of life. No one called me to let me know they would cut it all off! Never again will my pets go back. read more

I wasnt going to leave a review incase i needed to come back but after some consideration, i decided its better to go elsewhere. Ive made two visits and first time i got the full thing, shave, nails, bath, brush. My dog was clean and trimmed but had a lot of red scratches. I decided to go back and not get a shave. Just bath nails and teeth. I honestly think she just got a bath and thats it but lets just say she got her nail trimmed and teeth brushed, they charged me more this visit than the first visit where my dog actually got a hair cut. I used to take my late shih tzu Waffles here and for some reason when she died and I got 2 adopted shih tzus, I went somewhere else. I'd forgotten how sweet and caring the owner, Susan, was. So fast forward to needing a groom asap, I booked an appointment for my 2 furbies. As expected Susan was very welcoming and very patient with my furbies. Her shop is clean and spotless. She doesnt use cages instead she has pens to separate dogs from each other. It took a couple of hours for both to be groomed which was a bit quick compared to the other place I take them (at least 3-4hrs!!) Anyway, will be a regular from now on. I took my little dog Pickles, to get groomed at this facility for the first time, would entice me to come in, was the very kind gentleman that greet you when you come in the door, explain to him that, although I have a small Yorky, she does get aggressive, that being said, Pickles, came out with no problems. Dear Susan, Its Bandit I want to tell you thank you for all the love and care you gave me when I arrived for my grooming. I know I would be shaking but that was just me I didn't want to be away from mom "Lynn" to long but you made it very comfortable for me when you gave me your hugs and comfort before mom left. I enjoyed running around and playing when I was done as your place was never a place where I sat in a cage before my grooming nor after my grooming. You always were very welcoming to my mom and patient with me knowing I was a little lazy at times when getting groomed I didn't like to sit up but you knew me best. I know I was naughty but in the end as I said you knew me best and thank you for laughing and not seeing me as another dog to groom and end the day. You were a part of my life as you always made me look handsome and I loved my tie when I was done being groomed. I found Cuddlers on Yelp and after the previous location we used to take my pups to was taken over by a rather rude owner, I knew I needed to find a new groomer for our girls. Immediately upon calling I got a super friendly vibe from Michael who gave me their prices, I ended up calling a few days later to schedule an appointment, and they were in there within days. I was delighted to learn they also speak Spanish which is super convenient when my mom takes them. I also appreciate their reminder texts so we can be sure to arrive on time. My mom and I are happy with how our pups turned out, they definitely needed a spa day after not knowing where to go for so long. Their prices were reasonable and they were gentle when caring for our nervous poodle who had dental work done when cleaning her teeth. Our pretty pups were looking so cute, all coquettish and excited to show us their make overs lol. They carefully trimmed around her moles and had no cuts, just smooth tummies and happy pups. I have been bringing my pets here for 10 years! Sue is amazing with my dogs even when my Bentley was a difficult dog, she always welcome him even though she knew he was not going to be nice. After taking our maltipoo to Petco for several months we decided to try out this place since it's close to our house. I am so glad we did! The prices are a lot lower and the facility is aloof nicer than Petco. Our pup loves cuddlers, and I could tell cause she does not freak out when we go there. She used to freak out when she knew we were at petco lol! They can get super busy so be sure to schedule your pets appointment ahead of time! I have been going here for about five or six years. Sue was extremely kind to me me when my little Cavalier Spaniel, Ginny passed away, and it hurt her as much as it hurt me. She was so amazing to my little girl. Now, with my second Cavalier Spaniel Trixie, and our rambunctious little Yorkie Harley, we trust Sue at Cuddlers implicitly with our babies. I have been using Cuddlers for 3 years. They are convenient in location and I could walk my dogs there if I needed to, but an appointment wont be set until a week out. Over the 3 years I have experienced issues. Uneven haircuts, knicks, sometimes they forget to cut the nails. One time I asked for my pom to have a cut with her fur only one inch. The lady argued with me that it was an inch but I said it was 2 inches. To be a brat the old lady handed me a ruler. Guess who was right. Yup, me. So she took her back and cut off the extra inch, no apology from her for the snotty attitude. Last week I brought my pom in again and asked for a different cut than last time. Last time I got a cut similar to a lion cut. This time I wanted all her fur even with the growth of her back end. The groomer asked me if it was the same cut as last time, after I had explained what I wanted. Not very smart, is she? I got my dog back one length of hair but it was super short, basically buzzed. They also didnt cut her arm hair, it's the original length... really??? Some how what I said I had wanted translated to "the same cut as last time." The cut I got my dog back with wasn't the same cut as last time because it wasn't similar to a lion cut, nor was it the cut I had asked for! She gave me super snotty attitude and said I didn't have to go there anymore. The lady I spoke to this time was new. Never seen her before but she isn't very bright asking me if its the same cut when CLEARLY ITS NOT SIMILAR TO A LION CUT. Also, my papillon's nails were not cut at all, which I paid for. My Pomeranian is scooting her butt all over my rug, so I'm assuming they didn't take care of the anal glands either. It also looks like they knicked the base of her vagina but I have to see a vet tomorrow to have the glands taken care of and her checked out. My heart hurts for her. While I believe the staff has always been nice to my dogs, they are super rude to me and incompetent. How can they continue to believe that they are right when proven wrong and refuse to apologize and tell me to not come there anymore? I have never had this problem in my life with any other groomer. You get what you pay for; cheap service equals a crappy job and a shitty attitude. I regret I tipped you women for the crap service and shitty attitude. I'm sorry I gave you so many chances. I took my mothers senior chihuahuas here. They're grumpy old dogs but still the groomers took them in no problem and were very patient with them. The last groomer they had got arrested for dog abuse, so it was wonderful to be able to bring them to someone trustworthy, and kind. They treat the dogs here like their own. read more

After a bad experience with another groomer, I had high hopes for this groomer based on yelp reviews - and I'm delighted to report that they completely lived up to my expectations! My Bichon Frise doesn't like to sit still, and they still managed to do a wonderful job on her grooming. If I could give this place a 0 I would. I've been a customer for years and although it's always hard to get an appointment I've worked around their availability to bring my dog and mostly because she is afraid of being kenneled and this place does't do that. They've given me an attitude in the past when I was a little late picking her up or tried to drop her off a little earlier but I figured it's a small business and gave them a pass, this time around i am DONE!! Due to work I had to miss 2 appointments so I called and cancelled and apologized for the inconvenience. I called and left multiple voicemail messages trying to get an appointment and they would not call me back. Finally when I was able to get a hold of them they refused me as a customer and was told they no longer want my business there. This is the worse customer service i have ever encountered!!!! I've recommended this place to friends in the past but after this experience and the owners attitude I will no longer be referring anyone here and will let all of my friends and family know that are currently using this place to stop using their services. I am so disappointed i thought they were nice and the location was convenient but the attitude is absolutely unnecessary. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG THERE and if you do miss an appointment be ready to be refused service. HORRIBLE!!! read more

I have taken my dog here for about 3 1/2 years and I won't take her anywhere else. I moved 25 miles away and It is totally worth the trip. The way this staff treats my dog is worth more than any haircut. They do a great job every time and my dog enjoys coming here. Some of the bad reviews here are undeserved. If you make an appointment, have the curtesy of showing up. This is a business. Also, the groomers aren't mind readers so make sure you explain exactly how you'd like the cut to look like. We love this place! They take care of my pup really well and the cuts aren't too expensive. My pup used to be so scared of our previous groomers and can't wait to leave, but whenever we come here, he would play and run around and I can't get him to leave! They have toys lying around and let him feel at home and I believe that they really care for him. After every grooming they would explain what they did and if there were anything I should be concerned with. One time after a grooming, the lady looked so guilty and pointed out that she accidentally nicked a spot on my dog's belly and that she had applied Neosporin on it and hope it was okay. It was so tiny but knowing that she took care in telling me and make up for it was enough. They have a lifetime customer in us! Oh and a word of advice/warning... they are very punctual about timing. When they call to pick up your dog... drop everything and pick it up! They can get pretty testy if you're late! read more

I just took my dog here, and idk what these 1 star reviews are about because the lady was soooo nice. She even let us know how or puppy did and what she didn't like, and even checked all of her paws for injuries when she yelped as she was trying to cut her nails (our dog hates people touching her paws, and always yelps when we touch them). We originally took her to happy tails on horizon and they did a horrible job, so we tried this place. The lady at Cuddlers said her previous groomers never cleaned out her ears! And so she cleaned them out, and made sure we knew that if we went somewhere else next time that they clean her ears out after they cut her. Overall, I felt like she really cared about our dog and she did a great job not nicking her or cutting her nails too short. She took care of our puppy and I'm so glad we went here. read more

I just brought my dog to Cuddlers for the first time and will gladly and most assuredly be back. I would give 6 stars if possible! Susan (owner) and Alex are the two best people to work in a place like this. They truly care about the dog. They give you a time when they want your dog in, and all attention is on that dog. When the dog is done, yes they want you to pick your dog up. But you know what? Your dog wants to go home too. This is not a place that runs them through like cattle and holds your dog in a jail cell while you are gone all day. This place lets you get your dog and bring him back home to his own house where he truly wants to be. At least our dog would rather be home. I'll not go anywhere else. I have taken my Yorkie Trixie to Cuddlers several times now. I have been happy with the job they do. The location is convenient but making an appt is difficult for me at times because they are very strict on drop off/pickup times. Other places I have been have been more flexible, let you drop you dog off a little early, etc. They are a small shop so I understand they can't just have dogs there all day. I have had the time they told me she would be ready be wrong also (both done early and late). So you pretty much have to be close by waiting for them to call. Don't be late. They don't like that. Not even a few minutes. One occasion they said my dog would be ready at 1pm. I told them I had a meeting at my sons school at noon. My dog ended up being ready early. They called and left 2 voice mails in less than an hour telling me to pick up my dog. The second one was very rude. This was all before the 1pm time she told me. That was it for me. Overall, they do a good job and have great prices. Just make sure you don't have anything else to do. read more

I have been going to Cuddlers for over a year now. I can't express how friendly, kind and professional the staff here are. I have a little 17 lb shih tzu mix, Panda who they take such amazing care of. Panda had a little rash under his tail and they went the extra mile by putting corn starch on it. This place is wonderful. It may be difficult to get an appointment right away cause it's small, but it is worth it! My yapper, who usually hates being groomed, actually doesn't exhibit extreme anxiety traits like when she goes to a chain type groomer. When I pick her up, she's usually wandering behind the counter just roaming around instead of being caged up. I love it. read more

I really just love this place. We have a dog who has bad anxiety and is short-haired, so she rarely has to be groomed and is not really familiar with the process since she only has to go a few times each year. I always feel comfortable leaving her at Cuddlers, because the staff is so friendly and they do not put dogs in crates or overbook/get too crowded. They have half-walled holding areas and always have plenty of toys available for my sweet girl. The first time we came in just for a nail trim, they even let me go back with her to keep her calm, which really helped us both feel confident about their great customer service. Our dog weighs over 100 pounds, and I feel like they do a great job handling her and making her comfortable. This is a great place to take your dogs. The owner is the consumate dog lover and makes such a fuss over the dogs - it makes you feel great leaving your pet. They are cageless and they are a great place to bring animals that have anxiety. Great energy and our dog actually enjoys going there. The receptionist remembers your name and cares a great deal about the animals they see. I moved further away and I think it is worth the drive for such great service. read more
