The move in special was a nice perk. I'm rent a 14x40 enclosed unit. Which also has a light and and an outlet. Love that it is not gravel drive, nor that it is overrun with rodents. (My mother is renting a unit from another company in springtown and those have been major issues). Anchor Storage even has a dumpstation, air/water near office. Any issues that have arise Anchor Storage has address in a very timely manner. I feel confident that my possessions store at Anchor Storage are keep safe, pest free, dry just like the day we put them in. I would highly recommend Anchor Storage for any storage needs.

We signed on the spot. Needing the use of their truck, we set a day/time to pick it up. We hired someone to do the actual moving, and he showed up at the appointed time. No one was there and the office remained locked up...most all day. We lost between 3-4 hours while we came up with plan B, which involved renting a U-Haul truck. The assistant manager called today to ask if we still needed the truck. Uh, no. She offered no reason why she was not on duty when she should have been. Nor did she offer to reimburse the price of the truck we had to rent because of their mistake. As I said earlier, their facilities are top notch, and ease of use is excellent. However, going forward, we will remain wary of their customer service promises. As a new customer, we are really not impressed.

I asked the person in their office if I could get a better rate and that I would be willing to change units if needed. I was told NO. So I informed him that I would be moving out before next payment due date. I did move out, however my charge card was used for the upcoming month. I have disputed the charge and wait to see if I get my money back. I returned to the office to see what was going on and the same person I dealt with a few days earlier did not remember me canceling account, and I was told that he was unable to check their system to try and determine where the error was. Very unprofessional and was not helpful at all. I have since found another storage and will save $70 per month.

The facilities are clean. The staff will help you get set up but that's about it. Security is…read moreminimal. Cameras only cover the exterior of the buildings, but there aren't any covering the interior, where they are needed. We had a unit for a year while our house was being built. Our unit was robbed and half of the contents either taken or damaged. The security cameras revealed nothing and were so grainy, they were nearly useless. And since there are no cameras covering the interior hallways, where they would be the most helpful, there was no way to find out anything about the robbery. The staff did the minimum required, and the management was more concerned with making sure they weren't held accountable than helping us find the thieves. Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend Compass Self Storage. They need to improve their security.
