It took them till almost end of business day the day I had to move my stuff to contact me. The woman on the phone said I could go "anytime" to drop my stuff off because she set up my passcode. None of that was true. 1. The office and gate close at 10pm so at 11 when we went there with a truck load of items we couldn't get in. 2. The next day after a lot of frustration we finally found out that the gate code wasn't valid and we had the office staff help assign us a new one and that did work. She was even upset at all the hassle I had to go through to get into my unit. We rented this because of a home burglary that happened and we moved out the next day so now being able to get into our unit was very irritating. Overall I couldn't give the place more than 3 stars, and that is mostly because of the on-site staff and the location is close to my home. The unit was $70/mo and is a 10x10 but it has two small steps that make it very hard to get something that's heavy on a dolly on without some extra effort. Hopefully our stuff doesn't get ripped off or damaged as their insurance policy states nothing of high value should be in the unit.

The Storage Center lists their origin as "Established in 2021", which is true to the sale of the facility. Originally this establishment was locally owned and operated as Shepherd Self Storage. I never had any issue with Shepherd Self Storage. Since The Storage Center took over operation of the facility service has declined and the cost of my unit has gone from $70/month to $132/month. My unit has been broken into twice since 2021. The lanes between the buildings are narrow and frequently blocked by other tenants accessing their units. There are lots of other places out there and I wouldn't recommend The Storage Center.
