I've had a great experience with Global Self Storage off I‑35 in Edmond/OKC. The place is clean, well‑lit, and easy to get to, especially if you're coming from the metro or the surrounding small towns. The staff treats you like a neighbor instead of a number, and the units are in great shape. Security feels solid, and I never worry about my stuff. Definitely 5 's for Global Self Storage!!! Cynthia and Mike are very friendly and helpful. I wasn't very sure what size of a unit I needed but after talking to them for a few minutes I was able to decide. I would have ended up not getting the size I needed without their help. Terrible service. When this new management company assumes operations they emailed my monthly invoice with a much higher rate than I had been paying. I called to inform them that this was not acceptable. After a bit of a run-around and some "checking" by employee over the phone it was finally agreed that the new rental fee was incorrect. I requested that an updated/corrected invoice be sent via email. After many days of waiting I sent an email inquiring as to when I would receive a corrected invoice and opportunity to pay online. When I finally received an invoice with the correct rental charges they had added a late fee. Unacceptable. I could not pay the correct amount in their system with an incorrect invoice. I received a voicemail from Global with a callback number that was disconnected. Today after searching I have realized that the person leaving the message had transposed the numbers. Again, unacceptable. I have retained all emails and voicemail. read more

I was online looking for storage options and came across this business. I stopped by solely because of the Google reviews and I'm glad I did! I checked a facility near my home prior to going in here and had a bad experience which made me intimidated about going to another one. When I walked in Global I was greeted by Cynthia and Ronnie, both of whom welcomed me with a smile and offered me a cold water (it was a very hot day). I wasn't sure what I needed size wise and Cynthia was able to determine my needs based on the list of items stored and was full of knowledge and answered all my many questions with ease. Ronnie took me out to look at units and explained the locks, alarms and access points. I decided on a unit and Cynthia made the leasing process an easy, clear and understandable task! I found myself with a few more questions after the office closed and called Cynthia on her cell phone as she kindly provided me the number when I leased. She was so kind and answered the phone and the rest of my questions even when she was no longer at the storage facility. They both made my move in experience a phenomenal one and made me feel so welcomed and at ease. I will be telling everyone I know about Global self storage and their amazing staff read more

I can't say enough about what a great experience it has been working with Global Self Storage, and Cynthia in particular. My husband and I have moved about 10 times throughout the years, and we have worked with MANY storage facilities in various states. But Global has been one of the best experiences we have had. The facility is clean, secure, well lit, the prices are affordable and the staff is always available and friendly. Plus, the location off of I-35 is super convenient. I go here everyday to drop off and pick up for my job. Everyone that works here is really nice. I had left my car out front for a really long time. Eventually it got a flat tire. Being a storage place in all it wasn't very nice of me to in that. But they never towed it or did anything other than remind me. And I Left an oil stain too. Needless to say the car is gone and so is the stain thanks for being so understanding. read more
