For a total of $117.63 to move into the storage unit. Also, they advertise the first month for $1, but when I got there the free month is the second month, but you still must pay $15 insurance plus tax on the free rent month. So, your actual monthly fee is $44 plus $15 insurance plus tax for a total of $64.27 per month instead of $44. So, if you don't want to get suckered into paying and extra $63.63 to get the storage unit and an extra $20.27 per month than advertised. This place will sucker you good. Stay away from "Public Storage".

At times it's annoying to feel so cramped of space. On the other hand, I'd rather not part with my property, as it has sentimental value. I know, ridiculous. I said the same thing to myself. I decided to drop by Extra Space Storage. This is a big step for us packrats, you know; don't judge me . As I entered, I was immediately greeted by Rita. She's such a lovely lady. But don't tell anyone I said so. My wife might not approve haha. Anyway, she was very knowledgeable. Any questions I asked regarding storage units, pricing and contractual obligation, she answered directly and upfront. It gave me the impression that I wouldn't need to worry about hidden costs and billing surprises. I also met Nikki, with whom Rita was working. They were both a delight and complimented each other. What a team! It was like they fed off of each other's energy. Rita was helpful in one matter and Nikki chimed in on the side. Nikki was helpful in another matter and Rita chimed in on the side. They were a sort of dynamic duo. I actually felt kind of bad, because at the end of day, my attachment to my property overcame my sought to store it anywhere but home. As a result, I did not proceed with getting a unit at Extra Space Storage. However, their customer service is impeccable, especially Rita. She's very personable, and I have no doubt that should I ever break my attachment to sentimental things, she would be my next call. If you have storage needs, I'd highly recommend her as yours as well. Thanks ladies!
