Apparently there we no preventive measure (bait Boxes) to prevent the issue then someone decided it was a good idea to store dog food in the units. Company is telling tenants they are not responsible for the damaged goods however I have been told they are "going after the dog food person for 90,000.00. Well what about everyone who has suffered complete losses of their belongings. They are still renting out these units even though the hazmat teams have not been there to do a terminal clean. Not cool. Rats carry many diseases which are transferrable to humans. The insulation and steel in the buildings is still contaminated and there are probably some tenants such as myself which have not been notified. Springs on the doors are damaged and I could not close mine after finally getting help to open it. Customer service is off shore and said someone would be there in 24 hrs. Manager came out, he was aware of the infestation and my door remained open for several days. I stopped payment and now been locked out and cannot salvage anything. I have been trying to find an attorney, without success at this time. All their concern seems to be about payment and not the losses of family items from my history and the furniture I have lost. The entire operation is…read moreelectronic and there is not one soul on site. 3rd time using the storage unit and my automatic lock would give me the green light to open the unit but wouldn't open. I tried numerous times before I called for assistance. They said they would send someone out "when they can". If you have a job/ schedule/ or just one day out of the week to go to the storage unit I wouldn't recommend this place. Your day depends on "when they can" help you. My boss loved to hear that one. UPDATE: Day #2 of being on StoreEase time line. After being placed on hold I was told they usually arrive at 3 pm.....There are zero protocols in place for when your storage unit malfunctions and won't open.
