I took my dad here for Father's Day since I know he loves a cigar every once in a while. Who knew that the smoke-free city of Laguna has a cigar lounge you can actually smoke at?! Not me! I'm glad it exists! We came around 5:00 and there was one other person on the patio and a few inside. They had the World Cup on the TV's both outside on the patio and inside. The patio had seating for up to 11 people. The ocean view was fabulous. Two patrons had their golden retrievers with them despite a sign saying "No Dogs Please"... I assume maybe that sign doesn't apply to the locals haha. The place slowly filled up the closer it got to sunset. Everyone was incredibly friendly and chatty, locals and travelers alike. We spent 3 hours there until they closed. Afterwards, my dad said he hasn't talked that much in a long time and was pleasantly surprised that everyone was NOT an a**hole! We love that. Even if you don't smoke, they sell non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. I would absolutely return for the quaint and close-knit vibes and community that is here. So rare nowadays! read more

I really enjoyed stopping here. From the moment I arrived, Ross made me feel like family, and that meant a lot. He was not trying to oversell anything. I wanted to purchase some cigar gifts, but I was looking for variety, I did not want to just follow the masses, but I did want to give a great gift. Ross helped me make some excellent selections at various price points. Honestly, if we had more time, we would have stayed to enjoy the patio setting. Did not kno this place was here but found out it's been her for 22yrs!!! Met Dane who showed us around and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of cigars. The whole place was chill and welcoming, selected an Arturo and Ashton and was warmly accepted on the patio lounge. The whole place was nice and met some nice people while enjoying our cigars. Met some folks from sannna anna Redlands and the locals who had a good stories to tell and gave us some good info on locals restaurants. Highly recommend Cubana for the cigars and good conversations. Some of the nicest fellows I've ever met from Beach from smoking a cigar with them.. I would suggest anybody who is in Laguna Beach to stop by Cubana cigar club and say hello. He'll make many friends. They have a great selection of cigars and if you're not satisfied they'll replace it with another one. Which is Honorable for a cigar shop. I always do my best to stop by the local cigar lounge or shop when in a new town on vacation. There aren't a lot of places you can smoke a stogie in Laguna--certainly not on the beach but not on your hotel balcony or in any of the bars either. So I was glad to find there was a standalone cigar shop with nice outdoor seating to view the sunset. They have a solid selection of smokes to choose from at fair prices, some cold beer wine and soda choices, and the owner/proprietor was very friendly. There's not an indoor lounge but my guess is that with the temps they tend to keep year-round and that killer view there's absolutely no point in paying for the air system necessary to sustain that--just head out to the porch and soak in the view. read more

Amazing!! If I could give 10 stars I would! I had the best time here! I went alone just wanting to relax and smoke a cigar...but left having made friends! It's quaint...has a PHENOMENAL view, and you're kind of forced to be involved. They have a great beer and wine selection and I was recommended a fantastic cigar. I was only planning on staying for a drink because I was by myself and knew no one, but stayed for a few hours laughing and mingling with great locals! It's a casual place that inspired me to learn more about cigars rather than just smoke them. I will be back! I even bought a cutter and lighter! Great people, and a can't-be-beat location: you are on a rooftop, across the street from the Pacific. The humidor is not large, but it is well stocked, and prices are fair. Keep in mind: this is Calif, where tobacco is really taxed. I lived in Northern California for a long time, so I am somewhat jaded when it comes to sunsets. Had a great time smoking my first cigar at Cubana Cigars this weekend. Right when we walked in I thought we would be kind of brushed off since we were two girls walking into a cigar shop that had both never smoked a cigar before but quite the contrary.. We were greeted by Jeff who quickly asked us what we were looking for, after explaining that we just wanted to try something light for beginners he was very attentive and took his time explaining what our options were, even the other guests pitched in and were very friendly in explaining their own versions of "cigar smoking 101". We eventually made our pick and sat on the patio to smoke and have a beer. We met various people and got into great conversations with them far more genuine that going to a bar. I definitely want to come back largely in part because of the atmosphere and friendly people. read more

My husband and his buddies came here friday night to enjoy a cigar and hang out. They each bought this GIGANTIC Churchill of a brand the owner recommended, i don't know how much but I think they said it was pretty reasonable. The small shop is on the second floor and pretty secluded but they have a good variety of higher end cigars, including Davidoff's which are often harder to find. There are several club chairs for you to sit in while you smoke, in the shop. They also have several hookahs and many different flavours of tobacco as well as a cappuccino stand in the corner. The shop usually closes at 9 but the owner and the guys were gabbing, smoking their cigars so the guy let us stay over a half hour past closing. Pretty cool place to hang out, if you like that. Caution, it can get pretty smoky in there with 3 guys puffin' on a cigar. read more

First time visiting this place. It was great. Nice selection of cigars, and enough choices of beer/wine to choose from. Prices were reasonable, and the staff (Dane) was very nice and super helpful! Great location! Cannot beat having a beer and cigar across the street from the Pacific Ocean. My only complaint would be that there isn't enough seating. Given the size of the shop I am not sure that this is something that can be changed. There are about two or three seats inside, and enough seating on the covered patio for maybe 6 people. This is my office away from home. Great atmosphere and wonderful people. They have sticks (Cigars) in all price ranges with a great selection. Cold beer and wine is available. Nothing like watching the Laguna Beach sunset while having a cigar with some good friends, or even alone. Went in today to buy a cigar. I would rate the selection as fair to good. They have a decent number of cigars but far from plentiful. The customer service was good, the gentleman who helped me seemed friendly enough and answered my questions. The main reason for the 3 stars is the price. They're expensive. 23 dollars for a Arturo Anejo Reserva is a lot! All the cigars seemed overpriced. Plan on paying 1.5-2x what you would elsewhere. read more
