The staff is super friendly and doesn't hesitate to let you know about taps and types of beer. There is also a great outdoor area. I have been to Sume many times since that night. Recently, Baja has been going through a boom of home brewers and micro brewers. Last trip there they had some of these local flavors in bottle and on tap. Niiiiiiiice !! When it comes to nightlife, Mexicali has bars, clubs, and restaurants, that become hot and cold very quickly. Sume is still standing. Obviously, prices are higher for the US craft selection so if you don't want to spend too much just try something new and grab one of the Baja micro brews. Most likely you won't be disappointed.
