She's caring and actually takes the time to listen to you instead of brushing you off. If I could, I would've continued to visit Dr. Nguyen until she retired. However, the office discontinued Medi-Cal coverage and I am no longer able to see her. My main review is for the front staff. They're either very rude or have no clue what's going on. Each time I talk to the staff, they either have curt responses and don't actually bother to try to find a resolution, or the staff is inexperienced and always tell me they'll "call me back" with an answer AND THEY NEVER DO. Overall I find the front of staff very unprofessional and no one seems to have the answer to anything, nor the will to try to help patients with administrative problems.

From the time getting into the office to leaving took about 1.5 hrs. This was quite long as there was only 1 patient waiting ahead of me and many more that came in after me. There was only one front staff and one attending doctor. Javier obtained my insurance card and photo ID to check my copay while I filled out 3 pages that included patient intake and Release of Info. I give him props for being able to hold his fort in the front but also takes you to the medical room and does you BP & temp prior to you seeing the doctor. The attending doctor was Dr Tam Nguyen who appears to have a nice bedside manner and seem personable. I explained to him my symptoms and he follow up with checking my ears, mouth, and listen to my breathing. I had a hunch already that i had the flu but it was so severe I couldnt move. I was in need to meds. He confirmed I had the flu. He explained the flu process and reason for prescribing each of the medication he is suggesting. An overall good experience but I would up to 5 stars if the time to be seen in & out is less than 1 hr. FYI, not sure how it came about during my visit but Dr Nguyen shared that they do not serve children ages 6 and under.
