Julie helped us break it all down in a way that was easy to understand. She was very knowledgeable about different neighborhoods, school districts, and what each area actually offers. That helped us narrow things down quickly without feeling like we were guessing. One of the biggest things she helped us with was understanding the pros and cons of new construction versus existing homes. She walked us through taxes, long term costs, and what to expect in each scenario, which gave us a lot more confidence in our decisions. She also did a great job balancing both my preferences and my wife's. That's not easy, but she stayed patient and helped us find common ground without ever pushing us. We also spent part of the process renting, and she supported us through that phase too, which we really appreciated. Overall, she's thoughtful, informed, and genuinely cares about helping you find the right fit. Highly recommend.

I love the fact that they are proactive in recommending repairs to various parts of the house before it becomes very expensive to fix. In addition to the superb service they provided me, they have a top notched team who treats me like family. Everyone is very professional, respectful, and caring. One of the team member whom I've had the pleasure of working with over the years is Valerie Tillery. Valerie is very knowledgeable in real estate and property management. Whenever I have a question regarding my investment property, Valerie always responded quickly with clear answers to my questions. I've always felt that Valerie takes her time to make sure that any concerns or issues I have about my property is well addressed. Under her management, my rental property was never vacant for more than a week or two between tenants. That's just the time it takes for the crew to get the house ready for the next tenant. We usually have a new tenant signed a rental agreement before the old tenant moved out. My investment house have been cash flowing nicely since my purchase. I enjoyed working with Mars Hill Realty so much that I'm in the process of closing on another property in Georgetown, Texas for them to manage. Aside from Texas, I was also looking at Florida for my second investment home. While the housing prices in Florida is comparable to Texas, the cost of investing in Florida is cheaper than Texas because they have lower property tax. So why didn't I invest in Florida? Because Mars Hill Realty does not do business there. There's no property management that I trust more than Mars Hill Realty. In fact, it was Valerie who introduced me to the neighborhood that I'm buying my second investment home in. My experience as a property investor has been really stress-free with Mars Hill Realty managing my property. If you want a property management company that takes care of your property as if it's their own, you should consider working with Mars Hill Realty. I promise that you won't regret it.

    We had a mixed experience with The Stacy Group. On the positive side, our real estate agent was…read morevery friendly, accessible, and accommodating throughout the process. However, we unfortunately learned some difficult lessons that ultimately cost us our earnest money. Even though our agent filled in all of the contract details, he did not alert us to the importance of the 21-day financing deadline. We were working with Veterans United, and our financing was ultimately declined due to their policies around mineral rights--something we didn't find out until after the 21 days had passed. Neither our agent nor the loan officer warned us that time was running out, or that we were approaching a critical deadline. As a result, we missed the window and lost our earnest money, which was a significant financial loss for us. Ultimately, I take responsibility for trusting without verifying. However, I relied on our agent to look out for our interests and to guide us through the process--especially on key contractual deadlines. That trust, in hindsight, was misplaced. If you choose to work with The Stacy Group, I strongly recommend reviewing every line of your contract yourself and tracking your own deadlines. Do not assume that the agent will alert you to time-sensitive requirements unless it benefits them directly. A bit more communication and proactive guidance from our agent would have made all the difference in this outcome.
