I called to make the appointment and they answered quickly and were able to accommodate an appointment the following day (a Thursday) at 1pm. While it didn't really inconvenience me bc I had no other time-dependent plans, Kara (the piercer) was a bit late (30 minutes, I think) to our appointment due to traffic - road construction seems to be a bit nuts in SA right now, but I might recommend scheduling an appointment later in the day if you can swing it. But they have massage chairs, a TV, and a Play Station to keep you entertained if you end up in a similar situation. They were also very apologetic. When it came time to do the deed, Kara was friendly and informative. I wasn't planning on getting both pierced but after some discussion with her about it, I went for getting both done knowing I could take one (or both) out if I only wanted one to be pierced. Now, for the details for the piercing. Kara uses a hollow needle, she does not use a clamp (good for minimizing pain and bruising) to hold the nipple in place, there was no bleeding, bruising and no major swelling right afterwards, though I did feel throbbing (to be expected). I did bleed a little bit in my sleep that evening, but it was minimal and not surprising considering how I have a tendency to sleep in my stomach, so I'm sure it was only from rolling around. All in all, if I'm in SATx in the future, I'd definitely come back here. May need to make it a point to get a tattoo done here as they have great artists on staff too.

As a 19 year old young woman, with various tattoos, I have quite a lot to say about this place,…read morehang with me. It's taken me awhile to build up the courage to start up this review. It was a traumatic experience for me. I had made an appointment with an artist separately, Jordan, he was great. However, him and the owner had had previous issues, and midway through the tattoo, the owner had decided to fire him then and there. He said that if he did not leave, he would call the cops. My artist insisted that I finished my tattoo at least, and the owner said no. No? I was in shock. I left that day with an unfinished piece and a half done post up wrap and sterile. I would like to add that this took me 6 months to find another artist to finish up the tattoo, and I paid full price for just half of the tattoo. I would like to say this, which is the biggest part. This tattoo was on my spine. I did not have my top on, and the owner came into the room without any permission from me. This was vulnerable for me and I did not feel safe. I believe everyone should feel safe during their tattoo, and I was not. In addition, he threw the money at me, which was for my artist, and insisted I leave as well. Overall, as a young woman coming into this tattoo shop alone, I was shaking heading to my car. Do not go here. Do not go here if you want to risk leaving with a half done tattoo. I would like to say I am an all A student and I'd like to think a good citizen. I rarely make yelp reviews. Please trust me on this. I'd also like to say the owner keeps accusing me of theft? I don't fully understand the reason. I was a client who listened to what my artist had told me to do. He instructed me to walk downstairs and give them $300, which i think was a % of the price ? Must be a percentage that gets taken out when you have an artist and a shop. All i know was 1) i hit up an artist on instagram, he told me his price and make a deposit. 2) i made the deposit told him i would give the rest of the money to him in cash when i get there 3) i get there give him the cash i owed him started with my tattoo 4) he tells me to bring money downstairs to them 5) i get kicked out If the artist and the owner had issues prior to this, okay, and if the artist was committing theft, why am i at blame when i had no part in it? I had no part of this operation and all i did was what the artist, whom i trusted, to do. Anyways being called a theft for whatever money issues that him and the ARTIST had, i suffered. Do not go here. Chloe Phan 2027 Graduation Year
