This is a quick ride either to the Loop or O'Hare so a pretty good location. It gets so many riders at this station because it's a popular area. It serves the Blue Line. This is a major commuter route. A ton of people get off here. There's a need for all these entrances and they all lead to one platform. It somehow isn't all that crowded. This is one of the first stops coming from O'Hare. It's probably the first of these worth getting off if you don't live around any. There's lots of trendy coffee shops and restaurants. Fun place to get out and hang. The station itself also has some cool artwork to check out. An important area. It has lots to do around here. There's also access to busses outside the main station.

This station is better than most as it is underground and has a cover on the above ground area so that on days when it's raining, you won't get soaked coming out of the station. It definitely needs an upgrade soon as there is rust and mold in many areas in the station. If you're looking to go to O'Hare, I would definitely recommend taking the blue line.

Lots of things going on around here, some of which involve illegal activities it seems. As for the actual station, it's not bad. There's a few cool bars and restaurants to go to around here. A lot of passing trains are busy. It's because they're coming from or going to O'Hare so it's always crowded with people and their belongings, making it a tight fit. This is even worse on weekends. As for the actual station, it's nothing special at all. Gross stuff going on in here. Avoid elevators. The bums use these: as bathrooms, so unfortunately you have to use the long stairs. Both the location and the actual station have issues. It needs to clean up the elevators, but that's a Herculean task for sure. There's also delays from O'Hare so there's often long waits for trains.

I only recommend this stop if you're getting here NOT by car. Although I was initially disappointed that they don't have an espresso machine and only offer drip coffee or cold brew, I got over it when I realized that my drip coffee (which was delicious) and tip were only $4. Although that was my main focus, I noticed that they sold carry out wines and beer and they had jars of amazing looking small batch pickles for sale.

For one, it's neither underground or elevated. Two, this goes through a very nice looking neighborhood and it's not insanely busy like most stations can get. As with many of the stations, the location is the best thing about it of course. It serves the Brown Line. This is one of the best ways to get to Ravenswood. It's different from many other stations because the tracks go along the ground. Yes, the ones between the expressways also go along the ground, but those trains don't cross streets. It's more like how Metra goes. The trains come and the gates block traffic. A few bars and restaurants are located close to here. There's not a ton as this is more of a residential area, but there's a few coffee shops and cafes outside. Getting in and out is the worst thing about it. It seems many others have problems with the doors, which suck. The good thing is with this near the end of the Line, there's usually not a long wait for trains.

There is a staircase and narrow escalator (single file only). The station is not accessible, and stairs are needed to enter/exit street level. - This is close to the Greyhound and Union station, however there is no underpass. These are a block or two away, and would put you under the elements. - I did not encounter any foul smells or grossly unsanitary conditions. The archway one descends through could use some paint, and the floor would benefit from a power washing. However, the first staircase from street level definitely needs some elbow grease, including the railing. - The station is very well lit and did not feel unsafe. - There are no screens showing arrival information. I have to use the Transit app to show me when the next train is coming. - Seating is extremely limited, I think I saw one bench, though I could be wrong and there could be two. Thus, while some things are typical of CTA stations (like limited seating), the lack of screens and heightened need of a deeper cleaning cost Clinton Station some points. At the same time, I have definitely seen worse in terms of safety and cleanliness, hence a star was saved.

It sadly is typical of many stations around downtown. It serves the Blue Line. This station is also way down under. It's actually the deepest in the CTA. This is a much better way of getting to a game instead of using gas and paying outrageous parking prices, so you have more money for outrageous concession prices. Getting to the White Sox games is convenient from here. It's among a few public transportation options, along with the L station on the Green Line, and Metra.
