I've been calling since Jan. 2024 with water coming down wall where chimney is, staining wall in living room. I've made appointments, spoke with Chris in Feb., now its March. Several missed appointments. Water damage worse now. Finally called and asked for them to be honest and if they didn't want my job because its not an entire roof. Said they will show up but I'm not holding my breathe. I started researching chimney masons. Too bad because they are pleasant on the phone but Noel has been using the same roof job excuse for months. I just saw a roof go up in my neighborhood in 2 days. Maybe I will call them for an estimate. Update...I'm changing to 4 stars from 1. Friday 3/15/24 I received a call from Noel that the worker, Anthony, was in my driveway. It was scheduled for Monday. I received no courtesy call changing the day and keeping me posted. I'm taking a star off for their scheduling issues. Anthony gets 5 stars. They are lucky they have a knowledgeable worker. He is great. I would recommend but will add to keep calling if scheduling an appointment.

Hope they're able to do something with those wood and metal beams. Although I don't know the junk removal market well enough to really opine on pricing, to us, prices seemed fair. Excellent design, poor workmanship, won't stand behind their work…read more We recently purchased a new home at Fieldstone Village, so we didn't have a lot of choice in our subcontractors. They have been competent, polite and more than willing to make repairs or explain things to us. Then there's Sasso. We actually went to their showroom and met "the girls." They call themselves that and will tell you they don't make decisions or give pricing. But they do have a great selection, creative ideas and try to please. Too bad "the boys" can't follow through. The floors they put in are pretty good. Uneven in a few spots, but not horrible. They cut and installed our counter tops. During the walk-through, we noticed the counter top wasn't even. One side of the range was almost an inch deeper than the other side. At first, they denied it. They had to come in and reset one side of the counter to make things even. But they did it. We talked with them about doing some extra tiling in our bathrooms. Talked about it...never agreed to it. They did it anyway. Which would have been OK if we knew the price and the work was worth it. The work is awful. The tiles don't line up. Bull nose tile is used inappropriately. Tiles stick out. It's awful. The builder, who agreed with us about the quality of the work, asked Mr. Sasso to come look. He stared at the work and said it was fine. Mr. Sasso attempted to tell us the work was done right. He seems to be the only one who thinks so. He wouldn't even discuss any repairs or make an attempt to satisfy us. Meanwhile, he's told us he'll call to take another look. We haven't heard from him in four months. Our advice: If you have a choice, stay away.

They patiently explained that the kind of tiles I was trying to match are no longer available everywhere... that it might be tough to find what I was looking for. I knew I could get them at a stone supply place in Milford, but I really didn't want to do business there since they weren't very helpful. The people at Sasso looked at my samples and listened to my description of what I was trying to accomplish... took my phone number and within a few hours called me back to say that they had spoken with a quarry that would send the three pieces of slate I needed... all for a fraction of the expense I'd have had in Milford. The showroom at Sasso Tile is terriffic, too. Some of their tile looks good enough to eat! I just hope I can do a big project and use Sasso Tile as my supplier!

Let me start by saying we highly recommend AKD and love our kitchen…read more We had been talking to different companies about a remodel of our very old, outdated, and minimally functional kitchen. Everyone but AKD came in with a "plan" that really was just replacing cabinets and changing the island a bit. When Justin came in he immediately looked at our situation, suggested changing out some windows to allow for another bank of cabinets and tremendous cabinet space. We were sold - a completely new design, improved storage and heaps more counter space, and best of all significantly improved functionality. I'm not going to lie - it was not a joy to go through. But everything was done perfectly in a very imperfect location (our house is 142 years old and nothing is level). The subcontractors were all top notch and everyone was very accommodating. Requested changes were made well and without complaint. When something didn't function as we hoped it would Justin's answer was "we will make it right." And he did. And to not give the wrong impression, those were always minor things. There is not a single complaint I can make except that the project took a long long time - in part due to some difficult to install equipment we wanted. (The installer told us it was the most difficult installation he ever did.) I have spoken to friends and our experience with a remodel was so much better and easier than they had with other contractors. From design originality to perfect execution (Justin is a perfectionist and it shows in the final product) I truly believe you cannot do better than AKD for your remodel.
