From getting my teeth glued together, receiving the wrong number of trays, missing attachments on my teeth. One positive thing is that when these things happened Dr. Bartley was quick to respond to my concerns and get me a new appointment. However, there was very little communication towards the end of my Invisalign treatment, they left an attachment on my teeth, and they gave me molds for my permanent retainers. Something I was not aware of until the same day. Today I came back to get the missing attachment removed and to my surprise they did not honor rescanning my lower teeth giving me new retainers which all happened due to their oversight. I am very disappointed at how my case was handled so I believe it was important to share my experience to everyone.

Dr. Lerch personally responded the same night after hours (while the competing office got back to me the following morning, asked all the same questions I had already answered in their online intake form, and then recommended I schedule an appointment in two weeks). She messaged to let me know they consider this an emergency and would prioritize it (it's very painful and hot/cold sensitive to have an exposed tooth with veneer missing). I was in her chair getting the veneer reattached the following day. Altogether it took less than 30 minutes. Admittedly, I came to Dr. Lerch's office with some quiet distrust of dental offices in general. However, I have since found that I can completely trust Dr. Lerch's office with the full scope of my dental care, and so I also recently decided to move forward with a lingual frenectomy that had been impacting my speech for decades but I kept avoiding. The procedure took minutes and was entirely painless. Lastly I'll add that what makes this place truly exceptional is that Dr. Lerch's care and standards are not limited to her. Every person I have spoken to in the office shares the same qualities, whether Robby, Rahisha, Karen, or anyone else. It's clear that Dr. Lerch's values shape who she hires, and it shows in every interaction. I am glad I found her office.

Dr. Fienberg and his staff have always been very professional and only do the work that is necessary. Two generations of my family, including myself and two daughters have been patients in his practice. I began seeing Dr Feinberg when he was still working out of his original office in Stratford with his father, who was also a great orthodontist. The orthodontic work that Dr. Feinberg completes is the most advanced and state of the art. He creates a personal plan for each individual patient outlining their course of treatment. The office is always extremely clean and is a very welcoming and comforting environment. Dr. Feinberg has created two beautiful smiles for my daughters and that has been the greatest gift. Aside from a bad cosmetic result, this left me unable to bite an apple, or a piece of pizza or a sandwich, etc. Everything just folds up under the front overjet. Salad tends to escape as you eat - very embarrassing. The dentist had also ground down a crown, leaving me with an upper tooth that needs to be raised with screws in my jaw, and a tendency to bite the inside of my cheek on that side. Dr. Feinberg is a great orthodontist. He is very professional, his staff is great, his office is modern and immaculate. He explains everything with a great deal of patience and professionalism. He has a lot of experience with Invisalign cases gone wrong ! He also has a wonderful reputation among his peers, which says a lot. I had gone for a second opinion on the advice of a friend who is also a Dentist and Dr. Bilous in Fairfield, another great orthodontist, assured me that his plan was exactly what was needed. She also see a lot of Invisalign cases gone wrong. The lesson is no one should be going to a dentist, even if they call themselves a cosmetic dentist, to have teeth moved. This should only be done by trained orthodontists.

My partner had a filling/cap come out on a Friday night -- the second time this had happened. He called first thing Monday morning and explained that the tooth was extremely sensitive and that he was having difficulty eating. The receptionist told him they could squeeze him in on Tuesday, so he waited for that appointment rather than immediately seeking care elsewhere. Then, only two hours before his scheduled appointment on Tuesday, the office called to tell him that the doctor was completely booked and could no longer see him. Their solution was to offer him an appointment in the middle of the following week. That level of patient care is completely unacceptable to me. This was not a routine cleaning or something that could comfortably wait another week. His tooth was exposed, extremely sensitive, and painful enough that eating was difficult. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of concern, understanding, or effort to accommodate him after they were the ones who had already scheduled the appointment. He ultimately decided to switch dentists. His new dentist got him in and had the problem fixed within about 20 minutes. It is incredibly disappointing that a longtime dental office could not find a way to address a patient with an urgent issue -- particularly when the restoration had already failed twice. The last-minute cancellation, lack of urgency, and overall dismissive treatment of a patient in discomfort were awful. We expected much better care and basic consideration from a dental practice. After this experience, he will not be returning, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for a responsive, accommodating dental office.

The hygienists are for sure kind and attentive. Drs spend 2 -5 minutes with patients. Last visit was super shady. AND THEN I was told I was required to complete an identical medical survey for a private company to access medical records that sold products for sleep apnea. I was told patients could leave the office without completing it by the front desk- totally unethical- there should have a been a disclosure form available around transparency and consent. As a medical provider, I was disgusted by their ruse and will not be returning. The overall care is adequate, but administrative practices are suspect.

Even routine cleanings have been incredibly painful--unlike anything I've experienced at any other dental office.
