His Sales Manager (Leo Albert) made sure everything went without a hitch. Then on pickup day, Michael Painter (Finance Manger) went above and beyond to make it happen! I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new BMW. They make you feel like family.

I purchased an out of state certified used 2022 BMW M340i with around 30k+ miles from BMW of…read moreBridgeport for $48,000 with a $995 "convenience fee". Which is priced at a premium for super clean examples. During the remote sales process, the team verbally represented the vehicle as having one minor fender-bender. Based on that, I trusted their disclosure and didn't feel the need to scrutinize the Carfax in detail, which is a reasonable expectation when buying from an authorized BMW dealership. They had the color combo I was searching for even though several other cars were priced under theirs with clean Car fax's the color mattered more to me. They also offered to resurface the wheels to make it exactly the way i wanted it within the deal. I had 0 reason to mistrust them at this point. After bringing the car to my local BMW dealer for its first service, I was told the vehicle actually had THREE Carfax events: one accident plus two additional damage reports. My local dealer also estimated the car had instantly lost about $5,000 in value because of the full damage history. When I contacted Tim at BMW of Bridgeport for clarification, I was told that three different employees had supposedly explained the full Carfax to me on three separate occasions. This is simply not true and frankly, the claim is surprising. If three people had told me that the vehicle had multiple damage reports, I absolutely would have remembered it, and I would have walked away from the deal. That conversation never happened. The follow-up explanation also focused on the idea that the Carfax was available to me and that it was my responsibility to study it more closely. But the core issue isn't whether the report existed. It's what was represented about it. I relied on the dealership's own description. To add to the frustration, the only solution offered was for me to "buy another car," which was not a meaningful attempt to resolve the situation, especially for a first-time customer. I gave them a several opportunities to consider a reasonable resolution before posting this review. A simple acknowledgment a small gesture would have been enough as I wasn't asking for the $ loss or to sell the car back. I understood I should have studied the carfax. I made the decision to believe what I was told. In the end, this experience comes down to trust. When a dealership presents a car's history in a specific way, customers take that seriously. This situation has made me far more cautious with long-distance purchases and verbal disclosures. Luckily I like the car and don't plan to sell or trade it anytime soon. My key takeaways: 1- Trust AND then verify. Especially here. 2- Stay local. This has never happened to me before. I assume my value is less due to my geography. No service and definitely no future purchases.

The first place I took it (Midas Stratford) wanted $950 for a starter and didn't notice the chip was missing. The price was better at Dave's and they fit me in on Saturday, 2 great things. They also diagnosed the problem before replacing a perfectly good part. Midas would have replaced the started and then what?? My chief complaint is that they charged me an exorbitant fee to put the key fob back together and start it. I understand there is time the tech needs to diagnose it. They charged me. $166 for 1.5 hours of labor which was listed no where on the receipt, I had to ask them to write the amount charged and how many hours it took on the receipt, that should be listed on any car repair receipt just like parts and their coat. The labor rate there is $110 an hour and with tax it was $184. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't imagine it took that long to hook up a computer that says the key is the first thing to check. I brought the part down to see if it would start with the chip back inside and they made me go 15 minutes back home to wait while someone snapped it together and inserted it in the ignition to see if it started. How long could it possibly take to put it together1/2 hour???!. Seriously & obviously now I should have snapped it together myself and tried to start it myself and I probably could have stopped the hemorrhaging of money from my pocket. I should have followed gut instinct and said give it back and charge me for the existing labor. I feel like they gouged me for as much labor time as possible. Mind you I'd have paid an hour and been satisfied bc it was really my fault and not theirs. The really sad thing is I would have used them for my next repair which is a rotten muffler that it needed to be fixed yesterday so it can be emissions tested. It makes no sense to cut off your nose to spite your face. Id bet my last dollar there was no way it took a tech 90 minutes to scan the vehicle and snap the key back together. SMH. I wish I could have recommended them because they did fit me in last minute on a busy Saturday. When I asked the guy if he could do better on the price he said " well we could have changed out the starter and charged you for that but we were honest". Seriously, I should be glad you have a conscious!? If the manager wants to refund a portion of my payment I'm going to take this down or make an addendum. I won't be holding my breath, that's for sure! I'll be calling there on Monday to complain and see if I can get I touch with the owner to see if that's how they normally do business. I just think they padded the time it took to fix it. A happy customer will tell a friend but an unhappy customer will tell as many ppl as with listen and tell them to tell their friends who will tell their friends.

WARNING -- DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP…read more I had been speaking with their salesperson for over a week and made it very clear that my credit is low and that I urgently need a car to work and take my child to medical treatment. They repeatedly assured me that I was approved and that the payment would be about $300 per month. When I arrived at the dealership, they aggressively pressured me to leave a deposit immediately. Trusting their word, I paid $4,500. Only AFTER taking my money did they suddenly change the terms and say the monthly payment would actually be $560 -- almost double what was promised. I refused the deal and requested my money back. Now it has been over 10 days, and they still have my money. They keep telling me to come back "tomorrow" for the refund. Each time I go, they ask for my card again, claim they processed the refund, and then nothing happens. I have already been there multiple times. Today I called my bank, and they informed me that the refund was canceled by the merchant. Meanwhile, my family has been without a car, my wife cannot work (she drives for Uber), and I am struggling to take my child to school and treatment because of this situation. This business uses bait-and-switch tactics, high-pressure sales, and delays refunds while holding your money hostage. Be extremely careful. Read the 1-star reviews -- those reflect the real experience. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this dealership.
