I showed up for my new appointment only to be told that they needed to reschedule again. The receptionist stated that she called me earlier and left me a voicemail. Obviously I didn't get the message and never called back to reschedule. The receptionist just assumed I received the message and never tried to recall. My appointment was at noon and I was told that they could squeeze him in, but it wouldn't be till after 5pm. I wasn't just going leave him, so I left. customer lost!!

As someone who is not about to attempt clipping toenails aside from my own and with a senior who needs monthly haircuts, this was a crisis. I had visited Woof Gang a few times when they were at their former location, but not since they had moved in front of Fresh Market. It was too vital to entrust this process to online only so I stopped by in person. The team was friendly, helpful, and very patient with my questions. I was still a little nervous as I pulled into the parking lot with the crew, but it was due to me being over worrisome. When the three of them (Charlie had not yet joined us) came out for pick up I almost had tears welling up in my eyes. They were the cutest trio you have ever seen. The haircuts and trims were perfect and the bandanas they were wearing made it a spontaneous photo session. But then along came Charlie. This guy is a senior hospice foster, which means we will love him until he passes in the days/weeks ahead. The shelter labeled him a Shih Tzu, but the groomer thought him to be a Brussels Griffon (the breed Ewoks in the Star Wars movie are modeled after). The grooming was right. When they brought him out he was the most handsome little old Ewok/man you have ever seen. They had cleaned away the matted fur and overgrown nails. All he needed was a cardigan sweater and a pipe. I am deeply grateful to not only have a groomer in place, but one where the team sincerely loves dogs, and most importantly my dogs.

We just picked ours up last weekend and couldn't be more thrilled and excited. Francois helped us and I highly recommend you let him chat with you to soak up all his knowledge! If you have a question about anything aquaculture, he will have an answer or find it for you. What I really appreciate is that he didn't waste our time trying to upsell or shove the most expensive products - he would list out the pros and cons and give a range of options. I wish every town I've lived in prior to this had a CSRA LifeSaver type clinic! In the last three…read moreyears I've spent probably thousands of dollars and many trips to the vet for various cat ailments and check ups. Some in Pennsylvania and some here in the CSRA. At almost all of them I've been disappointed in the cost and lack of expense disclosure before a service is done, but it's also just a hassle to get scheduled for things that aren't super emergent but also can't wait for a month. CSRA Life Saver is a low cost preventative vet clinic. That means they do not treat sick animals, and they can't prescribe much other than some preventative flea/tick/heart worm medicines and dewormers. What they DO offer is walk in appointments (they do not schedule ahead except for spay/neuter surgeries), vaccines, microchips, pet health maintenance (like ear mite cleaning, deworming, nail trims, etc). Their prices are listed clearly online and in the office, and they require that you fill out a form ahead of time and clearly mark which services you want that day. When you arrive, you fill that out first (or you can print it at home and bring it in) then go in to the desk and sign in. By the number of chairs I saw, the wait can get long at times but both times I've been so far there was very little wait. Because they do minimal services, appointments don't last very long and they can see a lot of people. Their prices are the lowest I've found by a LOT and they seem interested in just doing what they can to help animals and owners in a timely manner. The office itself is pretty simple- it's an old house type building converted to an office. There is some indoor waiting room area but many chairs on the porch for overflow. I did not accompany my cat into the exam room and didn't see other owners do that either, so just be ready for that. They take cards and cash. The only issue I've had is the microchip I got on my kitten seems to have moved from the shoulder blade location I assumed they inserted it at, but I think that's more likely my kitten being a little underweight for his age (a recent stray we took in). I wish they had mentioned prior to the microchipping that you can't bathe the animal for a few days, and now with the movement of the chip I wish I'd waited to get that done til they neuter him or something but it's too late now. Overall, the prices cannot be beat and they offer helpful guidance on saving money and getting what's best for your pet.
