(I don't really know how to review this place because I had never given plasma beforehand. I have no other place to compare this to, so please forgive me for any inaccuracies.) First, I have to apologize, but I absolutely hate the location. It is in one of the worst areas in Stone Mountain off of Memorial Drive where they shut down one of the worst Kroger locations. There are always scary looking people hanging around this shopping center looking for money from poor saps like me! I have gotten used to the people around here, but I do not recommend outsiders to shop here at all! The parking lot is very spacious, but very dirty. There is always plenty of parking, but there is always plenty of trash everywhere as well. The plasma facility seemed to be clean and the people were friendly enough, but one thing I hate is to know what all the employees were up to the night before or the last weekend. I found myself in the middle of an across-the-room type of conversation between two employees who were telling each other (and everyone else in the room) all of their business. I'm sorry, but this just is not professional. Another thing that irks me is the pay. Mind you, I don't fault the facility for its procedures, but I think they could pay at least 3 times the amount they give you for your plasma that comes out of your body. Again, these are just my personal thoughts. Staff is very rude and always on the phone. The staff is limited only one person upfront at the most. You are charged 5.00 for them to load your donor fees and the staff takes their sweet time and was happy to let me know that the wait time I longer at other places read more

Where do I start, The phlebotomists are VERY unprofessional a lot of cursing and HIGH usage of the N- word. It is a lot of subliminal talking about donors is disrespectful. Starting conflict with strangers is not a great idea at all. There's a reason there's security with a gun because the workers CONSISTENTLY offend people. From a medical standpoint a lot of you should lose your jobs. Can't forget about the nurses, they are a little less rude but still rude af. Somebody higher up needs to address this before a bad situation occurs. Whatever phlebotomists worked the evening shift as of July 29 the plus sized, light skin lady and the dark skin gentleman with dreads needs a talking with management about language and respect around donors. I walked in at 9am on a Tuesday. 2.5 hrs later I'm still waiting for step two of the registration process. I talked to someone who went in a few minutes ago and they said they came in at 8am. The staff at the signin booth are either new or incompetent. I honestly could not tell. There are people waiting on nurses who come here often saying they have never seen the admin here. I hear people around me asking NURSES for info and they reply with "you need to see a NURSE about that" I might get rejected bc my blood sugar is dropping due to waiting forever (I ate breakfast at 6 per the instructions on the website). I wish I could give negative stars. I really do. I don't like writing negative reviews and I hope when I comeback they will give me a reason to write one. read more

Hello CSL. I have been coming twice a week for a few months now. That was until about 29 minutes ago. I spent the last of my cash to get on the bus here and was 10 seconds late...she looked me in the eyes as she locked the door. I pleaded with them to let me in through the window. Not one person would even acknowledge me. I ended up stranded 5 miles from my house over 10 seconds. I came straight from work....it is extremely frustrating and upsetting to be ignored and shown not one bit of empathy for a guy who has been loyal and who found himself in quite a bind. That's cool....there are other plasma places out there. I do know of three health violations that have gone unfixed for a few months...no sympathy for me...no sympathy for you. Calling tomorrow to report them....no hint what they are, but they are in plain sight to all donors if they ever investigated them. Thanks for treating me like that...I will enjoy this. If you're thinking about donating plasma here... DON'T! My problems with this place: - The facility is in the ghetto. I guess that should have been my first clue. - The staff here is SO unprofessional. I hate to use the word, but "ghetto" is accurate. They're all joking and laughing and cussing... all in the presence of patients/donors. Isn't a medical facility supposed to be more poised? This wouldn't happen at a place like Emory or a similar facility. - Topics the staff talked about... loudly: Debating which employees get to leave vs. who needs to stay because they need the extra hours. Which managers are the bossiest. How they turned down promotions because it was only $1/hour more money. - Not a huge deal, but there is clearly no enforced dress code for employees. Why is the person drawing my blood wearing baggy jeans and Air Jordans??? I donated here once. Never, ever again. Tip: If you are new to donating plasma and think you can donate at multiple facilities, think again. They have a national database where they cross check (using your SS#) to see if you're already donating somewhere else. read more

I have a rare blood type and I have the antibody for RH babies in my blood, so I donate. I'm also disabled so a very nice, older nurse asked me to get a letter from my doctor faxed to them saying it was fine for me to donate. I did and when I called to ask CSL if they had received the fax they were incredibly rude to me. Apparently, they are under the impression that anyone who donates is a bum or a drug addict, and you're treated accordingly. read more

This place is very unprofessional! I would think twice before choosing to go to this location because the women that work here are ghetto and rude! I was told by the manager that no one but her could see my file after an incident on my first visit, but in less than 10 minutes after speaking with her I was called into a room where there was 3 women one of which was training and they all were viewing my file and reading what the manager just wrote in it. Needless to say I was pissed and embarrassed! After that one of the women leaves the room and then comes back and says "oh your fine" and "we didn't see nothing in her file" Obviously she was just told that other employees were not suppose to see it. I got her at 11:00 and was stuck at 1:30 pm this is on a Saturday. Was not enough worker wish cause a big delay for clients. I blame it on very poor management and not caring about clients time. Very poor production! Do not donate on a Saturday because your time will be disrespected! read more

Like the others have said, if you are going to donate plasma RUN LIKE HELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! This facility is beyond "ghetto" and trashy. The "nurse" that does your physical is so rude and incompetent, not the mention the mouth full of gold teeth she has. I mean and entire row of permanent gold at the bottom. One has to assume they are permanent because who in their right mind would wear that to work by choice?? The "management" is a joke! I spoke to some whinte lady who was just as rude as gold mouth, if not more rude. The place is located right in the middle of the hood also! The guys that come in treat this place like it's their full time job or something. They are so loud and obnoxious. Yet, the lady in the front that initially helps you, talks to the guys like they are her best friends or something. Weirdest thing I've ever seen. This place is so unprofessional and ghetto.
