Out of all the CSL plasma centers in Chicago, IL and elsewhere I hate to say this is the best one both for hospitality, the line or wait and getting ready to sell or donate plasma. They really talk to you out of concern. Especially Gloria. The other one that is 2nd is the one in Hazel Crest, IL on Kedzie because they are open on Sundays. Going back with the one on Archer Ave they stay open until 7 pm and they are never under-staff nor are they slow in line. Only issue of course is no Sunday but ever since I worked close to Midway Airport this has been a convenient CSL Plasma after work and they do NOT close unexpectedly and change hours like the one in Chicago by Cicero and Diversey Avenue nor are they Condescending like in Franklin Park location with a Southern Caucasian girl name Christine. Plus the one in Franklin Park they turn on the AC in the winter so you have to wear a sweater on one side of your arm. I do like it here for that reason on my feedback read more

What I found - the people that stick you and watch the machines and shit make less than fast food workers. Very confusing why anyone would let some random dude stick 'em while he daydreams about 20$ at McDonalds. It's almost as if the baby boomers WANT a health care worker shortage. Such, short, short, short sided "thinking". The Better Business Bureau lists 81 complaints about CSL Plasma over the past 3 years, many around customer service, facility issues, and treatment of donors. Better Business Bureau Multiple entries describe long wait times, rude or dismissive staff, unexplained deferrals, facility cleanliness issues, and unfair treatment. Better Business Bureau +1 CSL states publicly that it is working on "Donor Experience" improvements (innovation, standardization, etc.). CSL CSL gives donors a feedback channel via its app or website. rewards.cslplasma.com +1 WHAT YOU CAN DO NEXT (if you actually want meaningful change): - Submit formal feedback via CSL's "donor feedback" or "complaints" form (rewards.cslplasma.com). - ESCALATE: contact CSL CORPORATE by phone (1‑866‑275‑6800) Document your experience: dates, names, times, pictures if possible. Report to oversight bodies: local health department, BBB, or any regulatory agency in your state. Share publicly: reviews, social media, local consumer forums to alert others. The people I have dealt with especially the girl who had to give me the news I couldn't give my plasma yet. She actually took the time to explain as she went over my meds that I have to take. Then another when I went back and still my B wasn't not strong enough. She helped me also understand more how to eat and build, my hematocrit up. Because I don't eat my food together. I eat all my protein at once or all my vegetables at once. So they were not working together. I take buses 3 back and forth very time consuming. So now I know to wait a bit before coming back and forth. To let the nutrition build my blood up. So they have helped me more than my own DOCTORS.!!!!‍‍‍‍ read more

The "Medical Professionals" they have on staff are Med school rejects, the place is dirty unsanitary and the employees look like they don't care, or can even properly insert a needle without bruising. I had a horrible experience there, it smells and the few employees they have are not very good at their job. Do not donate your plasma here. read more

The staff is really prejudice that are Hispanic and put the people that are Mexican American in front of blacks. I witnessed it. Also they like to steal money off new donors card by telling them leave your card and the money already on there i didn't know until someone told me I had 100 already on the card rather you donate or not. After your finger get pricked they give you your card and donor number. I wasn't suppose to give the card back. The lady spent my 100 that was on the card and Trying to say I didn't donate. Absolutely love Miss D. She is the only person that I trust to set me up and I never experienced any issues with. I have had a few experiences where other people have set me up and I've had to be readjusted numerous times, I've had my machine beeping that it stopped and nobody pays attention to the beeping, I've also received a hematoma at one visit when the girl who was setting me up wasn't paying attention to me because she was focused with flirting with the man next to me and wasn't paying attention as a giant bubble of blood was filling underneath my skin. They're definitely are some amazing compassionate workers here that are part of the reason I keep coming back. However, they're also are quite a few employees that could use extensive training on customer service and even with their technique. The staff & facility is nice, but due to a misinterpretation of an FDA guideline on CSL's end I couldn't donate. The guideline they referenced doesn't exist in the capacity they are trying to use it for. Hopefully they change the policy after seeing this message. read more

workers are nice but ungodly lazy. almost every single visit i have sat and waited to be called on while workers sit, talk, wander around. ridiculous. they don even tell u what's going on or what you're waiting for. they ignore when you ask questions. no wonder they work here. read more

I don't encourage no one to donate here unless you want to experience how a cow feel before getting slather. The staff I mean upper staff not the floor workers do not treat you like you helping out they treat you like a junky. I never experience this type treatment before. I thought I was helping save lives but instead I feel like a product. You will be in there standing on your longer than anyone who work there. It is not a comfortable experience . I was told the process for a new patient should take a long time but this was beyond ridiculous. I was told the process would take about 3 hours after waiting for 2 hours and the only thing that had been accomplished was me being signed in. Not enrolled into the system, no physical, and, no instruction on the actual process of donating, and no paperwork. I left it's not worth the wait. read more

Worst customer experience I have ever had, I guess if your not a regular they treat you like a criminal after doing their regular routine right before releasing me to the donating floor I was asked something I've never had been asked before and because I hesitate on my answer I was labeled as a liar then they send me to the nurse office where they began to question me like if I was at a interrogation room NINA or that's the name she gave me was extremely rood and was in my face staring over me about half a foot away I asked her to step back give me some room due to COVID they don't care for that I guess, they don't like the fact that I was talking back like why is this such a big deal all for 30something dollars wow. every one in there thinks people are money hungry and most employees have attitude there, they lost a donor due to attitude an miss communication and after I've donated plasma there several times they kicked me out. It breaks my heart to see people in need during a pandemic like covid-19. Unfortunately my fiancé lost his job due to everything going on and with me being 21 weeks pregnant it puts a lot of pressure on him to support our family. Sad to say that this plasma deferred him due to their mistakes. On his first visit of the week the needle was put in his arm wrong so he experienced ALOT of discomfort. They ended up ending his donation early and we went about our day. Yesterday was his second donation and he already told me walking in his arm was sore from the previous one. They had a nurse check and cleared him. Again he experienced a lot of pain and told staff. After going back and forth about the situation the manager decided it was best to defer him because "they don't want to deal with that situation again". Now this is where I get upset because he has been donating there even before he lost his job and NEVER had this problem. They just assumed he was just some young man trying to get some quick cash. Is it because he's a young man with tattoos? Anyways, this is disgusting. You turned away someone really in need, someone who wasn't just always going there for fast cash. After hearing him cry on the phone for 15 minutes I took matters into my own hand and called corporate, they agreed that there was NO reason to defer him. He got a call back from the donation site and all he got was a apology but they still deferred him. I really do hope one day there family is in need and someone come heartlessly and takes the little hope that is left. This is all because he only spoke up TWICE. OH! And before I log off THE SECURITY GUARD THREATENED HIM WITH A GUN! Well that goes to show you how that staff likes to handle things. He's no threat to anyone. He's actually a depressed young man right now with this pandemic going on.
