When this was raised, I was given conflicting explanations that did not align with any written documentation, which only added to the frustration. Toward the end of the project, Sal confirmed a missing toe kick under the dishwasher and assured me it would be handled. I paid for it, but it was never installed. Multiple texts and calls to Sal went unanswered for weeks. When I finally reached the office again, I requested a refund instead of installation because I no longer wanted the company in my home. Even that request was delayed. The only positive experience was Brian, the contractor who rebuilt our kitchen. He was professional, kind, detail-oriented, and clearly took pride in his work. Unfortunately, his level of professionalism was not reflected elsewhere in the organization. As someone who leads people for a living, I believe that the customer experience matters. My husband and I are first time homebuyers and within the first 90 days, we had our first claim- a leak between our laundry and powder room on the first floor. USAA assigned Jenkins and I thank God they did because WOW! From the initial outreach to follow up after the job was done to ensure satisfaction, we were completely blown away by their professionalism, patience, kindness and fantastic skills! We had so many questions about the process being our first time going through this but they took any and all stress away, always offering to give them a call or text if we think of anything else we had questions about. From Isaac & team drying the rooms out to Darrick to being lockstep with us and his amazing team lead by Ivan completing the repairs (which included a couple add on's including being in cahoots with me having them paint an accent wall in the room while my husband was at work ) they were all truly amazing!!! In fact, beyond their customer service, their integrity truly shined through. On the vanity top replacement, they found the tiniest of cracks in the sink bowl. I wouldn't have ever even noticed until it became a problem likely years down the line. I suggested a quick fix but they insisted on it being done right, even if it meant coming back a week later and redoing what they'd just finished never making it seem like an inconvenience (this in addition to them being flexible working around our travel schedule and still getting it done before my birthday/housewarming party they promised to have it done by). BONUS: always left our home cleaner than how they found it before they left! They truly turned an unfortunate circumstance into rooms I can't wait to show off to guests of how great of a job they did! I just wanted to throw a huge shout out to Jenkins Restorations, namely the following individuals:…read more David, Sergio, Nick, and Jamie. First off, David has been the hero we have all needed a ton of times over the last few months. We first met David late 2023 as we were in the process of replacing the floors and found a TON of really terrible damage. It was literally like peeling the layers off of a really moldy-from-the-inside onion where every layer of house that we removed exposed a bigger and more complex issue. David was always prompt, responsive, helpful, professional, helped us through the insurance claim process, and met with our insurance adjuster 3 times? 4 times? He really went out of his way to advocate for us, and we truly felt like we were in good hands. The whole project, which required estimate after estimate, was handled so promptly on the side of Jenkins Restoration, so we were never left waiting for something from them. We were so happy to work with David and his team. Welp, as destiny would have it, we would get to work with Jenkins Restoration again several months later due to one of the children negligently flooding the bathroom sink. While we were never hoping to see David under these circumstances again, we ended up contacting him and within hours? Maybe? We had his water damage team in our house to start mitigation. This is where we met Sergio and Nick, two young and personable professionals who worked in our home from around 3:30pm to 8:00pm-ish to cut out the damaged ceiling, perform moisture readings, set up large dehumidifiers, etc. The VERY next morning, we had Jamie here to assess the situation in order to further assess things. He was super friendly, professional, and honest (about how my husband's dad jokes were NOT funny - glad I had the opportunity to connect with Jamie on that level). As it stands right now, an adjustor from our insurance company asked if he could come here on Sunday morning to assess the damages. We asked David at some time around 7am if he was available to be present for this, and he responded within seconds that he was. He continues to take care of us and look out for our best interests.
