This company is pitiful! I'm a tenant in San Diego and our apt management company uses this company for laundry maintenance in our building. We have been here 4 years and have not once seen anyone from the company come clean the machines or filters. They are gross! My biggest complaint currently is that today is Sunday and I went over to put my wet clothes in dryer only to find out the machines coin holder is too full and won't take anymore coins so I called company to put in service request and the representative tells me that someone has already called in a request yesterday! So I'm wondering what idiot neighbor I have didn't tag the machine and obviously the rep that took request didn't inform them they should tag it and say do NOT use! The representative continues to inform me it can take up to 3 business days for tech to come out. I asked her can you expedite request she says no, not until 3 days have passed. Idiot company. Mind you there is one washer and one dryer for 7 units! This is what's wrong with our country, bunch of idiots running multi billionaire companies that suck! No one maintains the machines and it's always the weekend when something goes wrong. Centre City Property Management, 4540 Kearny Villa Rd in San Diego is also to blame for choosing bootleg companies for their tenants after they have been informed multiple times that coinmach is failing to properly service the machines provided to tenants. This is a form of stealing! The WiFi app that CSC provides does not work either many times it does not connect, machines not labeled and your account will be debited and machine will not turn on so I warn you don't use their app! Again, CSC/ Coinmach is a horrible service! read more

Like ALL of the other reviews of this company, I would have liked to give them zero stars! I own an apartment building and inherited a Coinmach laundry contract. My contract is over and I sent them 3 months advance notice of my desire to have the laundry machines removed at the end of my contract. It is now 1 month AFTER the end of my contract and the machines have still not been removed! I have called and left messages over 24 times during the past month and no one calls me back. It is amazing to me that any competent management team would allow employees, who they pay wages to, to ignore and treat customers so poorly. In addition, during the 10 years of my contract with Coinmach, I found out several times that they cheated me out of commission money I was due. Their business practices are dishonest and unethical! For anyone considering entering into any relationship with Coinmach or any other CSC ServiceWorks company, I would BEG you to consider competitive options. Doing business with Coinmach or CSC ServiceWorks is horrible and frustrating. read more

The worst customer service ever. The customer service reps rush you off the phone. I will never use their machines ever again. I have put in four service request and two claims and never received confirmation, response or payment for the damage items. The owner of the company are straight scammers. They actually deserve a zero rating. read more

My laundry card was taken into this dryer on Monday September 17, 2018. I went to the leasing office to report it and was given the info to their vendor contact person, Robert Owen. I called and left a message on Monday the 17th when there was no answer. I then emailed Mr. Owen on Monday the 17th. When I got no response by that Thursday, I called again and left a message again. I went to the leading office and they told me to call the number on the machine. I called the company who put out a service request to have a technician come get the card out of the machine and was told it would be up to 3 days. 6 business days from that call, a technician came. He took the machine apart 11 days after the card was sucked into the machine, but states he couldn't find it and someone must have taken it. He admitted that the slots weren't placed correctly on the machine and saw how the card was sucked in. He told me to call the company and request a refund. I called with him right beside me. I even put him on the phone after they denied my refund. I had to go up the chain after they suggested I put in another refund request which wouldn't be guaranteed. After speaking with someone "higher", I was offered a $10 courtesy card. There was $28.09 left on that card. They told me they can't trace the cards when I told them to check to see that it had not been used. . What is the chip for and how is it reusable? And nowhere on that card does it say "no refund". It says it won't replace lost or stolen cards. I'm tired of these companies getting over on hard working people. The leasing office is already fed up with this company as they have had many issues with this company taking customer's money. It's CSC's fault for not properly installing and ensuring the parts in their machines. I will be taking this further. It's now about the principal of the matter. read more

CSC ServiceWorks is very unresponsive and difficult to work with. I cancelled my service due to business closure in January 2019. It took 3 months for the equipment to be picked up. I called on multiple occasions to follow up on pick up since the building had been sold. Now I've received an invoice for the months the equipment was still at my building. They want me to pay for equipment that wasn't being used, for service that had been cancelled and CSC didn't pick up for months. read more

Customer Service is really bad. Just got out of a call for a refund and the Customer Care Representative was really rude.

This company is absolutely terrible. I have lived in an apartment complex in St Petersburg Florida for 1 year and have had to call CSC 15+ times for a variety reasons. Either the credit card payments are not working, washer and dryers are out, or there is some other issue that needs to be resolved. Then, when we call on a Monday, after not being able to use the machines all weekend, they say they cannot come Monday OR Tuesday. WHAT A JOKE THIS COMPANY IS! read more

If you can avoid, avoid this company. I don't honestly know how they are in business. As a property manager or customer the service blows. The appliances break, web gives an error message even when you type in the correct machine ID, phone loops saying create an online ID, reach a person and you're likely to get dropped on the phone call. read more

Do not and do not contract with them , washer and dryer are always broke, after so many time hearing complain from my tenant, I cancel the contract with CSC Service Work/ Coinmach since November 2018 and contact them serveral time for pick up their machine, they never did, look at other review before you want to do business with them, read more

I will never use one of their machines again. My apartment uses them for laundry services. I purchased a card for $20 and it did not work. I figured maybe that card was faulty and purchased another one, still nothing. To make a long story short, it has been two months and I'm still waiting on my $40 refund they swear has been processed. They even lied about when I called to cover their tracks as if I don't have the phone records and email to prove it. I keep getting told I will be refunded by mail in 7-10 business days. In my most recent call (the third one) I'm being told I haven't received it because the previous two agents neglected to add my apartment number to my address. This last agent actually seemed like she knew what she was doing so I guess I'll have to wait (another) 7-10 business days to see if I'll actually ever get my refund . read more

Crappy company - overcharges and sneaks price hikes, machines in poor conditions and barely wash and dry, they rolled out an app that literally never works. I wish our HOA never contracted with them. read more

They never came to clean their washers and dryers. Very irresponsible company!

Terrible turnaround time with repairs and when the technician does show, does not know how to troubleshoot and lacks the proper knowledge/tools needed. I live in a high rise in Chicago and our entire building has been unable to use the machines. Customer service over the phone also not helpful. I was hung up on when I asked (calmly) why our building was not a higher priority (the repair request was reported several days ago), and was refused when asking to speak with a manager. Poor poor poor service all around. This is the first review I have ever written. read more

When Coinmach installed machines at my building it took over four hours to dry my clothes. I am not exaggerating. I had to call the company because their website was unable to process my service and refund requests. They hadn't connected the gas to the new dryers. read more

They just installed "new" machines in our building. Currently five of them have out of order signs on them. What a joke!

We have 36 units here in Newton and I am a former trustee. This company sucks. They are never around and very hard to contact. They never service the machines. They never clean the filters on the dryers or the washers. They charged 25 cents more than the last guys it's $1.50 to wash a load and the same to dry a load. the WASHERS DO A GOOD JOB i WILL ADMIT; BUT THE DRYERS USE A LOT OF ELECTRICITY AND ARE VERY HOT; WE COULD SAVE SOME MONEY IF THE dryers were more efficient. But the big thing is that the dryers need to be cleaned and serviced. And tell us when you come so we can be there to point out other problems. read more

If you are in a market for laundry services look elsewhere than this company. It takes more than 15 minutes to get a person on the phone when you have an issue. There customer service reps are inadequate at best in speaking with the public. The first representative I tried talking with didn't even understand what a condominium complex was hanging up on me when I tried explaining to her. The second call back took over 20 minutes to get a rep no the phone and he was no better telling me I had to go back to the laundry room to get the id number from the machine for him to know if there was an order to have it worked on. Do not do business with CSC service works if it can be avoided. read more

machines are brand new and broken down already. Customer service and service calls are useless.

I wish that I could give this company no stars. I rarely post reviews, but I need to put out there how horrible of a company this is. After over a year of being in contact with them after their machines did not wash or dry my clothes, burnt my clothes, ripped my clothes to shreds, and overcharged my debit card over $70 with no refund, I'm still left being ignored. This company not only does not accept their faults, but pushes them onto other companies only for those companies to conclude that the fault indeed falls under CSC ServiceWorks. My emails to customer service have been left ignored and my calls have been hung up on for over a year now. I refuse to let the company keep $70 of my overcharged money for laundry machines that did not work and ruined my clothes. I can't be surprised to see that there are many other negative reviews like mine. I'm shocked that this company still operates. read more

CSC ServiceWorks - One of my ruined items. - Laundry Services Near Me

I don't know why my complex has this company for their laundry needs, their customer service needs some work. The machines take forever to repair and refunds are very difficult to get back. My problem this past weekend was I wasn't given a card that I paid $5 for. Their hours of opening are between 9am and 5pm and unless you call during these hours you are unable to initiate a refund. The employee proceeded to tell me that they only refund within two days and after that its my loss. I have a job and if that is how I treated my customers I wouldn't be employed. Its okay for me to be inconvenience when their machines don't work and when I ask for a refund they fall back on their policies. Its been a trying time for everyone these past two years and companies should be thinking outside of their policy to work with their customers. Also they should post in the laundry their policy on refunds. read more

If there were a 0/5 stars... These guys would get it. Customer service has been rude, unresponsive and taken a full calendar month to do absolutely nothing about our broken machines. After weeks of service requests they sent out a technician, who neglected to fix anything besides tell us that they were fixed. Needless to say, their contract will be terminated as soon as they fix our current machines. This is a laundry company that seems to do everything in their power to avoid providing consistent laundry services. Worthless company. Would no recommend to even my worst enemy. read more

This company is the WORST!! We have the washer and dryer in our apartments and they have broken on numerous occasions!! We had to wait for weeks at a time before they fixed them. I can't even feed coins into the machine without trying over and over again. I'll come back after an hour and the machine will have turned off completely and I have to pay MORE money to run it all over again. The last time it broke I put coins in the dryer and it just wouldn't turn on, so I had to take out all of the wet clothes out, walk down the street to a laundromat and wait for 1 hour before it was finished. UGHHHH THE WORST. Clearly this company does not care to provide a service for what we pay!! read more

Machines constantly don't work. End up having to hang my clothes to dry. Card readers constantly get stuck in update mode making it so you can't wash or dry. Don't know why my apartment complex went with this company that costs us more money to use. For sure not worth the "convenience". Gonna write my apartment management every week until these are gone or fixed. read more

Like someone else said, if i could give zero stars i would. My salesman is awful to deal with. He is nasty and was very misleading. All i can say is make sure you read and reread your contract before you sign anything. As a property manager I am sick to my stomach that our company is stuck with them for another 9 years! Our salesman came in when it was time to sign our contracts and said if we resigned all our machines will be upgraded to new machines and they were going to help us update our laundry rooms. What actually happened was I waited and waited about 3-4 months for the new machines. I was told the day before they came that they were coming so we had no time to update floors and paint before they went in like we wanted to. They put in new machines that are app based but the app didn't work for another couple weeks. No signs were put up or literature sent out to help our residents learn the new system until I asked about 3 times. Now the best part...they took our old machines out and only put half as many back in! So now we have 26 apts. in one building, close to 75 people trying to use 2 washers and 2 dryers. As a result I now watch them all take their laundry down the street where they don't have to wait. Please don't sign a contract with them, you will regret it! Call anyone else! read more

I would give a Zero star if it was allowed. CSC ServiceWorks manage the laundry room in my building. First of all there are problems with their service and to add to it, the customer support is HORRIBLE. The tone they use and the attitude they show is mind boggling. Maybe it was just the rep I spoke to, but after all they represent a company. Issues: 1.) 2 of the Washers are charging more than the rest for months now. I had brought this to the notice of a technician who coincidently happened to be in the laundry room one day. He apologized, took pictures of the machine ID and said that this would be fixed in less than 2 days. It has been over a month since that incident and still things have not changed. Called customer support today to get a status update and she asks me to go and get the machine IDs. I said that I don't have them with me and she says she can't provide any help without the IDs. I gave her the address, and told her to send a technician to check it himself. How hard is it to look at 10 machines and identify which 2 are charging more than the rest 8 of them? Firstly she neither acknowledged that there was a problem nor apologized for the inconvenience. Secondly, she didn't seem to be requesting to see if I could provide her the IDs. It was more of a harsh version of 'I can't help you', if you don't give me the machine IDs. 2.) One of the washer is not working and the Out of Order tag is placed in such a way that its hard to see. On top of it, the machine still deducts money from your card. Why can't they reset the price to $0.00 until they fix the problem? And why can't they place a proper notice on the machine so that people don't try to use it at all? I hope I am wrong, but with the overall experience I am certain they are aware of the problems but not fixing them intentionally. I get a feeling of being cheated. Probably they are thinking of short term gains over long term loses. read more

Beware this is the worst company to deal with when you are renting appliances. My dryer stopped working and after four phone calls to supervisors and to technician repair visits my dryer still does not work. If I could give 0 stars, that would be my review. For the love of God do not get into a contract with this inept company. 2 out of the 3 washers are currently broken in my building and have been for 2 weeks. They've been called multiple times. They give no shi*ts whatsoever. read more

In the copy promoting their business, CSC writes "we make life easier..." DON'T BELIEVE IT! If you own a building and need laundry services for your tenants, look elsewhere. CSC ServiceWorks ignores calls and frequently doesn't even empty the machines' coin containers, which means that quarters put into the machine don't register, thereby rendering the machines useless. This company was notified on April 02 that the machines in our building needed service, and there's been ZERO response. Today is April 15. I'd give them negative stars, but that's not possible. And this review comes after several other instances of this company never showing up when they were needed. This is not the first time. read more

If this company is run and managed by the professionals then you need not ask me for information. I had the misfortune of moving into an apartment building that uses this con artist company.....reviews that talk about money disappearing on their "laundry" cards are true...CSC is in the laundry business all right -- laundering my money! I have only been here for a week, but I have already decided I will now be walking past the comforts of the laundry room in my building and walking 4 blocks so I won't to be victimized by this company. I hope PCS Management in New Haven comes to their senses and stops doing business with this sham of a company. read more

CSC is the worse so called washing and drying clothes service ever. the machines are so small they will not hold a load that I could wash and dry with my washer and dryer at my last apartment that I owned. The debit card with not work for the 2nd time since I moved into apartment complex for people 55 and older that are disabled. I collected coins of all times - collecting quarters from every state, American territories and all national parks, now I have had to use plenty of these and will have to find over 23 state quarters. The government will only mint so many of each state, territories and national parks and now I have to start looking for these again, the ones I had were new. Once you put soap and bleach in machine and debit card machine will not work you have no choice but to use quarters. The dryers - I wash my sheets and pillow cases made of bamboo, when I dry them there are still some wet places on them, just queen size set of sheets. CSC is making a killing of these want handle a full load of close. read more

In 2019 the machines we're supposed to use to "wash" and "dry" our clothes are terrible. I don't feel like my clothes are actually clean. We keep having to call for maintenance on the machines. Honestly, when I owned my own house and had my own washer/dryer, in all of 15 years, I just had to get the dryer fixed once. I did laundry nearly daily. The barrel is only suitable for what actually equates to half a load. The washer smells like mildew, it's been nearly 2 years and it was like that before I ever got here. I out of answers, it's just really poorly maintained equipment that I can barely use because of how really cheap and under-maintained it is. read more

The customer service is horrible. Our washer broke down and it's been almost a month and nothing has been done. When you ask for an update......you get an automatic response. "They are out in the field"..We have 4 families waiting to get the washer repaired. CSC doesn't care. read more

The mechanic that come Frank is great, however the office and sales man are terrible. No replies to emails, no replies to my calls and numerous messages. Our building is in need of more machines, i can't get them to even respond to an email. Perhaps since our contract has 3 more years they don't care, I bet they will start paying attention about a month before it expires. It will be too late! read more

Not sure how this company is still in business. Our apartments washers and dryers are CONSTANTLY out of order. Then, when they appear to be "working", clothes come out sopping wet and require twice the dryer space to dry them. SCAM ARTISTRY at its finest. Despite multiple calls to CSC (with awful customer service) and repeated complaints to apartment management the problems with CSC Service (doesn't) Works machines persist. Prime example of how NOT to run your business. I feel cheated that we moved into our apartments with "on-site washer/dryer facilities" listed as an amenity and this is what we get. Would give negative stars if it was an option. If you run an apartment complex, run from doing business with this company, we will NOT be renewing our lease because of this issue. read more

I used their services on Sep 18, 2020. I used 2 washing machines ($2.25 each) and 1 drier ( $2.00 each) and was charged using my debit card consecutively 13 times. Charging me a total amount of $21.15. When attempting to contact customer support, I was prompted to do a refund online ( they only do one machine, one refund report a day), so I went ahead and called today Sep 20, 2020 at 7:30am. Spoke with Sussie and this representative from the start was irritable and shortcoming with information regarding my concerns. After inquiring further as to how will I be getting my refund totalling $14.75, Sussie said she doesn't hadle refunds and that only third party vendors do. She was hesitant is providing me accurate information from the confirmation number of our call and the contact phone number of the third party vendor. When attempting to call customer support again for clarity and actual assistance it kept me waiting for 15 minutes each time or then they hang up. Is now 8:50 am and im writing this review because they don't even have a proper customer complaint center. I have never experienced such a horrific over charge and now complications with a refund due to customer support being inhumane. read more

CSC Service Works is a racket. We have two washers and two dryers and the two washers have been broken on and off for the last three months and the techs lie saying they've been here when they haven't. I've been able to do two loads of laundry here in the last three months. I've seen one tech in the last three months for one of the machines and it has had a sticker on it since 03/15/21 saying a tech will be back with a part. That sticker has been there for almost a MONTH. And this business does not give two craps. If you're a building owner or manager, please please please go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy your own commercial machines. I did an analysis on how the owner of our building could by his own machines, charge $1.50 for a wash and the same for a dry and with the 28 units doing an average of 2 loads per week, the machines would pay for themselves in 5 months..the rest would be profit for the building. You'd have better control over when your machines get serviced and not have to be stuck in some contract for a million years and get unacceptable customer service. read more

I am giving this firm one star because Yelp won't let me give them no stars. Nine months ago a newly purchased dryer was not working. A technician was sent out to repair it, along with a charge of $130.00 for ten minutes. I later realized I was charged erroneously as the dryer was still under warranty. I have been trying to get $130.00 returned from this firm for 9 months now. One lie after another. Then they issued a check for the right amount to someone else and sent it to my old address. Completely incompetent, and here's the kicker: they don't really care. read more
