I have dealt with many vendors and the trustee of manynHOA. CSC is the WORST company I have to face. There is no parallel to their incompetence, irresponsible behavior and unprofessional response to customer. Signed new contract with CSC. Six months in and still no words about installation. Excuses. Excuses. Absolutely no communication as all. Blaming all on the manufacturers. Sorry but your competitors have the same brand new machines in stock and ready to go. Should have been wiser and sign with other companies instead. Updated: Still no word on installation six months in. We just contact our attorney to look into legal action. This is abborant. Updated2: 8 months in, and after a barrage of emails, we are promised for a date in December (I wouldn't hold my breathe). I can begin to express the regret we have signing up with them. Updated3: Machines finally came. We have to pay out of our own pocket for the plumber since the CSC plumber wasn't available. But even that is minor lost compared to the reconditioned machines we got: One washer is DOA, persistently on out of order error. And the other washers do not drain or spin properly and all the laundry came out very damp, almost dripping. This is day 2. For all the property managers and condo owners out there, never agree to any used or reconditioned machines from CSC's contract. They came broken or the drains were never cleaned (the first few washes the drain water came out with all kinds of disgusting gunk.) Update 4: One and a half month passed, none of the machines are registered with the customer service. You can't scan/call for service. You can't request a refund. The older dryer will keep spinning even time is up if you take out the laundry early. So dangerous for a gas appliance to run on its own unattended. The nightmare continues. Update 5: Another two weeks went by. Still no resolution. Email the manager: "oh, not my problem", local manager: "oh, I don't know what happened". And in fact it is his sole responsibility to register the machines. The level of bureaucracy and managerial failure is breathtaking. Update 6: Another two weeks, and another two weeks. All the machines are still not registered. No refund. No services. I don't know what else to say about this company. Don't be a fool like me, run as far away as you can from them. Update 7: 3 Months. 3 effing months. Our machines are still not registered. None of them exists in the eyes of the customer service when you scan it. All customer service do is passing the buck. I have looked at reviews of this company, not only here. But on the sites below. The horror stories number in the hundreds. I am part of this latest scam: CSC recently required updated cards to use their machines, but to refuse to send updated cards. The purpose of which seems to not wanting to credit the balance of the old cards to the new cards. I'm the rare customer who doesn't even CARE about the old balance. Just wanted new card. I have called/emailed since Dec 2020. My property manager has as well. So desperate is this firm to avoid refunds, they have resorted to falsely promise to overnight new cards and invent fake tracking numbers. I thought this was a mistake, but have read reviews of others going through exactly the same nonsense. Really, CSC, inventing fake tracking numbers for a $0.00 piece of plastic? When it takes someone with a phone 60 seconds to find out you are lying? Why? Other people are on public record of you pulling the same exact stunt. This MONTH. Have you ever heard of: Penny-Wise/Pound-Foolish? I'd have more respect for you if were more clever about stealing, but you can't even be clever about stealing. Lawyers have been lost a lost of business since the pandemic and would guess they could use a good lawsuit. CSC, having a national business model, and happy to defraud customers from coast-to-coast with glee, seems to be begging for legal action. Why not oblige them? And again, my case is the easiest: Simply mail me a piece of plastic, keep the money on my old card. Hear that, CSC? Keep/steal my money, I'll let that slide. But no, so greedy they are for that $15 on that old card, they dare not risk giving me an updated card.. Read the fine print. You assume all responsibility to pay even if they schedule your pick up a month out. When first delivered, My washer was bouncing around so violently it damaged the wall and floor of my laundry room. It took 4 service visits for them to just replace it. The first 3 visits they didn't even run the washer to duplicate the issue, instead kept "adjusting the feet to level" (As a service technician myself, clearly something was broken INSIDE) Once they brought in the new washer, no more shaking but I realized all the clothes were HOT after wash. You would think people who install washers and dryers all day could hook up the hot and cold water hoses correctly. When I moved, they said they couldn't pick them up for a MONTH (30 days longer than it took for initial delivery) Their contract states you cannot move the equipment, my apartment lease also states i can't leave anything behind. The apartment also called and said they didn't have storage, but since I was renting the equipment, they now call me everyday for $600 replacement cost. My apartment complex also called them and notified them that they were outside. They still didn't come pick them up for another 2 weeks, so really by no surprise they were picked up by someone else. To AW and CSCSW: Your customers are not storage units for your equipment. If you have notification from multiple parties that you need to pick up your equipment, it is not good practice to blame your customer for loss that you had all the power to prevent. Perhaps you have too much equipment and clearly cannot operate to its capacity. Due to this experience I will NEVER and I recommend no one else ever rents appliances from this company or any of its affiliates. These companies are out to take advantage of you and to make money. Do not trust that they are anything other than collectors. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Update: Finally got an email response asking for more info. I replied quickly & they responded again within the same day to say the check will be mailed. My issue should be resolved as long as I actually get the check. I will update again once I do/don't get the check. It's looking up though, so thank you for trying. My apartment complex closed the laundry room for a couple months w/o notice to the residents and didn't know when they would re-open. During this time we had to take our laundry elsewhere, then ended up getting our own appliances, all before the apts re-opened the laundry room. This is why I need a refund of the money left on my card. I can't request online b/c the machine ID isn't recognized even though I know I'm entering it correctly. I tried reaching out via email & no response. I tried calling twice & waited 45+ minutes both times. They then try to locate the machine id (which they can't) so they ask for the apt address. I answer their few questions, then when it gets to me explaining my issues, they all of a sudden can't hear me then hang up. Twice this happened. They want you to give up so they can keep your money, which is so so so wrong. I have NEVER experienced such horrible customer service & I really don't understand how they can still be in service. Maybe that's why their customer service is so bad, they have to cut back on employees since people realize how awful they are & stop using their services. From other people's answers about having to mail in the card (on your own dime) seems very sketchy to me. What if they magically "loose" it and say they can't process the refund? Shouldn't in 2021 you be able to look up the card number & cancel the funds then send a check? Overall very sketchy company & I hope residents & landlords both stay far far away. So I've been having trouble with my laundry facility for over a year now. During that year, I've left and updated my google review but now, Google doesn't list CSC Service Works as a reviewable business. Which is probably intentional so here I am. When I was new to my complex, for over a month, only one washer worked, out of four. The other three(of which two only took quarters) didn't run the final spin cycle so my load would come out soaking wet and require extra dryer cycles. One of those three broken washers was full of disgusting stagnant water for over a month. I took pictures. The water was so opague the central spinner wasn't visible through it and the entire room stunk. Myself and several neighbors reported the issues repeatedly directly to CSC Service Works since our complex refused to contact them for us. It wasn't fixed for literally over a month. Something is always busted and usually, more is broken than isn't. My fiance went to do laundry last week and said three of the four washers were broken again, so we had to go to another laundry mat. Tonight, for once, the washers worked. I got my clothes clean and went I went to dry them--All four dryers were out of order or in use, according to the card scanner. As a property manager responsible for hundreds of apartments, I rely heavily on vendors who can provide timely, reliable service -- especially for something as essential as laundry equipment. Unfortunately, my experience with CSC ServiceWorks has been consistently disappointing. We have had multiple machines down for long periods of time, some of which were reported weeks to months ago, and they still remain out of service. This has caused ongoing frustration for residents and has created unnecessary work for our management team. Reaching CSC is unnecessarily difficult. Service requests often go unanswered until you call repeatedly and escalate the issue, and even then, the follow-through is unreliable. On the occasions when a technician does arrive, the machines are frequently not properly repaired, leading to repeated failures shortly afterward. The pattern is clear: slow response, inconsistent fixes, and a lack of accountability. As a property manager with years of experience coordinating vendors, I can confidently say that this has been one of the most challenging service providers to work with. The level of service we received does not meet the basic expectations of a multifamily community, let alone a professional partnership. Tried to repost this since this stupid thing didn't post my original review from last week and still not working. Andrew is always helping me here in our laundry room and is always so happy and kind. Andrew helped us get new equipment a few months ago and I am so grateful because our machines were falling apart. He even gave me his phone number in case I need his help with one of our machines. If someone screws up one of our machines to where you cant put money in to start it I know I can call him up and ask him to come by and fix it for me because we only have 2 of each and he will be there the same day or by the next day. read more
