I was on hold for 20 minutes with no help their laundry ate my money and the best they could do was write a check that I will get in 3 weeks which is not good enough. The lady was very rude and didn't help me at all, not to mention the wait time was super long. It was a waste of my time. The staff there are useless who just sits on their ass and they all need to be fired. I have had nothing but a negative experience with them. Unfortunately I am a renter so I have no choice but to deal with them. They have lost my respect at best and more the half of the time their equipment sucks and always breaks. They need better services like sending a tech guy out there to refund my quarters bc a check is a fucking joke. If I could give this zero stars I would worst customer service ever. read more

Too bad I can't rate lower than 1 Star. I rented a washer and dryer from Select Laundry at the apartment complex I live in. CSC ServiceWorks bought out Select Laundry before my move-out and now I can't get them taken out AND I'm still getting charged $45 a month. Here are the problems: - They "lost" their accounts with the company they bought out. So in their eyes, I don't exist. No record of me, my apartment, OR THEIR OWN WASHER AND DRYER. - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. PERIOD. I have been calling CSC ServiceWorks for months now and I am met with the same, constant response: "We just have no record of you. I will send this to management and they will call you later today". Have I gotten any calls back? Not once. - I was given no invoice, no confirmation email, no anything to prove that I am, or have ever been, in their system. - The $45 comes out of my bank account automatically. "Laundry Solutions" is who is taking my money, as says my bank. I asked countless customer service reps and they tell me "We don't have Laundry Solutions". Yet on their website is a list of companies they have and lo and behold, Laundry Solutions is there. - I have tried calling the number from the old Select Laundry website - leads me to CSC ServiceWorks. I have tried calling Laundry Solutions - leads me to CSC ServiceWorks. Overall, they have what seems to be an endless amount of phone numbers to call, all which get me to the same place with the same, unhelpful answer. I sincerely hope nobody else gets trapped in this CSC ServiceWorks bs. DO. NOT. SPEND. YOUR. MONEY. HERE. read more

All of the washers and dryers that this company manages NEVER works. Other people in my apartment building has called for customer service multiple times, and the service people came several times after, but instead left us with completely broken machines that they wrapped with plastic bags. The call for customer service ALWAYS takes more than 1 hour of waiting time for someone to pickup. The last time I got to talk with customer service, the representative told me that I should not have used the machines in the first place to avoid any problems. I do not understand what kind of person with functional brain can respond like that to customers using their machines. The machines never work, wasting so much of our money and time, leaving us with destroyed clothes, and as always, have zero number of people who are responsible enough to fix this simple issue. This company has provided me with an absolutely horrible and disgusting service and I have absolutely no further hope for this company. I do not understand the point of someone commenting on other honest reviews here on yelp, saying that they apologize and will help. Do not TRY and ACT like you care and are sorry. STOP FOOLING EVERYONE and BE RESPONSIBLE. Stop stealing money from customers and stop running away from all YOUR problems. No future, no hope, zero expectation for this company. + what is the point of the commenting here and telling customers to contact their customer service when everyone here is talking how bad or nonexistent the customer service is at CSC? Clearly, obviously, and again, unable to comprehend customer's simple needs. read more

i have 2 washing and 2 dryer machines in my hotel from csc. i've taken over the business two months ago and have been calling since to get these machines fixed. no response and not getting my commission checks but the rep comes to empty the coins all the time but refuses to talk to anyone. now the machine broke and flooded my whole hallway and cost me $2300 in new carpet. i really hope this business goes out of business so it prevents hurting other businesses trying to stay afloat. read more

This company provides the washer and dryer units in our apartment complex and they are constantly breaking or smoking. Half of the time I open one of the washers to see stagnant, disgusting water sitting in the basin. Rather than replacing this washer, they reduced the price by 10 cents. It still breaks just as often. The machine at the apartment complex that lets you refill your laundry card value always breaks. Their website is impossible to navigate if you need to reload your card via this method. It tells you to check your laundry room for a CVA code which is nowhere to be found in the laundry room. I have a friend in the complex who pays additional money to have a dryer in her unit and it has never worked for them. No matter how many times they call CSC, they never fix it. Terrible service and terrible products. Do not move into an apartment complex that uses CSC ServiceWorks. read more

CSC is fully aware that their machines will not accept cards loaded with over $99.00, yet the 2 cash loading machine I have accessed will let you put far more on the laundry card. I put over $150.00 on mine; and, of course, when I put my card in the laundry machine, it says, "bad card." But the card is not bad--it's their service. I checked my card yesterday in their loading machine and it invited me to add even more to it. Now I'm supposed to send the only proof CSC owes me money to them for a refund. Since this is a problem created by them, I think I'll hang on to it, take pictures of the problem, and send them off to the appropriate authorities. read more

This company is negligent. I used my credit cards to pay for maybe 2 loads for laundry, through their credit card payment service. They posted a charge on 3 of my credit cards about 13 times for the same transaction. Thieves!!! read more

Over 20 years working in this field, Service technician. Csc bought the company that bought the company that I started with. The upper management has no idea where the money is made. They think technology and apps is the what we sell. They rather have a broken app then hire the people to service machines without the app. Long ago at the company I started for the owner gave me some advice. I was complaining about a almost crazy customer. He said even if she is bat poop crazy and angry she pays your salary, every dollar this company makes comes from someone washing and or drying a load of clothes. Without them you don't have a job... csc thinks money comes from technology and apps and anything but providing the person using the machine with a service. I don't think anyone higher up in management has ever lived paycheck to paycheck, counting on that load of laundry to get done so they can have clean clothes to work in. I would be surprised if they ever did laundry themselves. Management will not listen to branch managers let alone a low service tech. Every year csc makes it harder to service the customers, has more experimental technology that they roll out that has many bugs and glitches at best... from my point of view branch managers are afraid to speak up and bring this up to the upper management. Fear of losing your job can do that. If you are not a yes man to UM then GTFO. I can only see all this technology UM is pushing sparkles. Like trying to sell a car that has a rod knock, they are putting in an awesome bass pounding stereo system hoping the buyer doesn't hear the rod knocking. Hopefully this top heavy company will learn, we don't sell apps, we don't sell technology, and we don't sell machines. Anyone in the multi-family housing can buy equipment and technology. We sell service. Apartment managers and owners don't want to deal with angry residents. Our service is to fix the broken machines and try to make the resident that called us happy. For years csc has failed to do this, they treat service, installation, and collections like we are easily replaceable. They pay the bare minimum, even for employees with many years experience. read more

Terrible machines! Clothes are damaged from the washing machines and the machines never start! Horrible!!!

Predatory Company!!! Never do business with them. They have an automatically renewing lease for the landlords for 5 years. When I bought, I was not told of this lease. When I called the company regarding their washer/dryer they did not tell me there was a lease. Then when I asked for the washer/dryer to be removed, they told me there was a lease. They are not truthful in what they collect. From a 6 unit building, they claim to only collect $200 in a year. I manage a 3 unit building that collects $1200 every year. Their machines are tired and barely work but you can't request new ones or they it will trigger a clause in the contract that renews it for another 5 years. Never do business with them. They are predatory and dishonest. Feel free to read my other reviews and you will know that I have never given a bad review until now. This unfortunately is scam company. read more

Where do I even start with this review? Honestly the WORST service you could get. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy. On a regular basis, their lack of service makes doing laundry extremely difficult or even obsolete. They do not collect the money from the laundry machine, and as a result, the washing machine stops working. The last time they serviced my washing machine was in September of 2018. I have called and emailed multiple times but have not received a response to date. I have four tenants who reside in that property and NO ONE can use the washing machine because they have collected the money from the machines. My tenants are beyond frustrated and I am exasperated. This laundry company seems to do everything in their power to avoid providing consistent laundry services. Worthless company. I am not sure how they are still around. If I could I would give them negative 2 stars. Just saying... read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful customer service and charge you $4 fee to start without telling you.

My 1 Star rating is, in fact, generous. My professional life spans almost 50 years, and that includes working very closely with Customer Service Departments in 50+ countries. And CSC rank at or near the bottom. Ever. Dating back many months, in numerous conversations and emails, my request was simple: refund the monies on the now useless laundry cards in my possession. Promises were made. Many times. Promises were broken. Every time. In my view they are playing the long game, hoping that me, the Consumer/Customer, will tire of trying to collect my money. That way they can pocket the $20.00+ usd, and walk away happy. Imagine if they get away with that 100's, or 1,000's of times? Nice cash take eh? Except that this Consumer doesn't roll over, and NYS Small Claims Court is next. If they are going to try and stiff me, they will have to lawyer-up in my city and hope for a corporation-friendly judge. read more

This company has ignored services requests, falsified repair reports, and ignored any online correspondence. I speak on behalf of my neighbors and landlord when I say this company has been a complete disappointment. With the terrible quality of their appliances, we are way too much time and money on laundry. They are notorious for mailing a CHECK for $1.75. Please stop sending those checks and send someone out to repair your faulty machines. read more

Do not choose this company. My building's washing machines and dryers have been broken on and off for at least a year. When I call to report it, they say someone will come to look at it, they are aware, or that they are waiting for a part. But it's just excuses, they provide horrible, slow and inefficient service. And now 3 out of 4 machines are broken with no estimate of when they will be fixed. Their service and customer service is awful. read more

App never works. After a half hour every time and jumping through all the hoops they suggest, they blame my phone and are less than helpful. I work w 24 other people using this app and service and we have all experienced the same issue. I would be shocked if this wasn't engineered by some dudes 10yr old nephew w infantile understanding of a functioning app. I have lost time, money and "developed quite a bit of character" dealing w this absolute waste of time of a company. If you put half the money you pay customer service reps into your app, you wouldn't need to employee as many reps and wouldn't have this bad of reviews. These reviews are absolutely earned and it's sad but also hilarious that this business is even still open. Such a run around and inconvenience for no reason. I hope this amount of bad reviews reaches someone who can actually help rather than pay customer service reps to save face for a waste of an app. Please recognize your vicious unproductive cycle that is inconveniencing people all over the nation. read more

I live in an apartment complex, and this company services the laundry machines. On a regular basis, their poor service makes doing laundry difficult; for example, they do not collect the money from the laundry card machine often enough, and as a result, the machine stops working. When a laundry machine overflowed, I called the customer service line to report the problem. The representative was rude to me and was reluctant to offer help because I could not supply certain details about the machines (details I did not know because I neither own nor manage the property). Because she was so unresponsive, I had to hang up without receiving help--the whole encounter was extremely frustrating. read more

We are locked into a contract with this useless company at 2 different properties! We were promised new machines after years of literally hundreds of break downs and tenant complaints. They finally after 3 months brought in their shiny new refurbished garbage! Now the machines continue to break down on a weekly basis at both complexes. Our tenants put in for refunds on their money which they very rarely receive. Machines are down for days before someone addresses the issue. PLEASE do not use this company. You are better off investing your own money into buying commercial machines and repairing them on your own which I am confident wont break down like this. Unfortunately there are not many other companies in our area that could be used so CSC knows they can lock you into a 5 year contract and sit back and rob everyone blind with their substandard junk machines!! These reviews speak volumes on the misery you will go through when you sign up with them. Read them and believe! read more

This is the worst laundry service company out there. Their equipment is shoddy, and they don't respond to service calls.

I live in a condo complex which uses CSC laundry machines and dryers. The machines are operated through credit cards. There is a small payment box on the wall and the tenants are supposed to pay and select washer or dryer on that payment machine. Nothing unusual, no high tech. After one of the summer storms, the credit card machine was broken. Long story short, I reported the problem on 08/31/2020 and today, 09/05/2020 the credit card controller still doesn't work. We have to go to the bank, get 2 pounds worth of quarters and use the coins. CSC Works did not reply or update me for 5 days. This company is useless and I hope it folds. This company is a joke!! The service is horrible. The equipment they provide is Junk!! There is always something wrong with the machine's. They will either eat your quarters or just lock up on you mid wash and lock your clothes in dirty wash water, until someone can come out to fix it in 2 - 3 business days. So what do you do till then just let your clothes sit in dirty water till they decide to send someone out to fix the problem? My apartment complex Boulder Park Apartments in Nashua NH uses CSC Services to provide and service the washers and dryers in all the buildings. The residents have to use computer generated laundry cards on which we must input funds from our bank accounts or credit cards on line. There is no other choice. The first card I received was used and didn't work. The second card was stolen. CSC has no way to cancel or stop a card or protect our banking information. There are no emergency numbers available in the case of a theft. This leaves our banking information exposed. CSC refuses to refund any unused money on the card. When we put money on the card we get an authorization code which has to be used in 3 months or CSC keeps our money. No one tells us this ahead of time. In addition to the unused money on the stolen card I have two bank authorized payments pending in their system which have not been applied to the card yet. This totals 80.00. CSC is refusing to give me these funds back either. So in the middle of a pandemic when there are hard times for everyone,CSC is trying to keep over $120.00 of my money. I am a senior on social security. I strongly. protest this treatment and CSC's unethical business practices. read more

This company is a joke. Weeks ago I made an appointment to have my rental fridge picked up before I moved on May 27, and they claimed that was the earliest day they had available. Come May 27...they rescheduled my appointment. Nobody in customer service was helpful at all in trying to find a solution to have the fridge picked up before I vacated the apartment yesterday, so now I have to coordinate with my leasing office to get the fridge picked up tomorrow by Appliance Warehouse (owned by CSC), and today nobody can give me a window or guarantee that this will actually happen. On top of that, they're trying to bill my account for another month, when it was THEIR error that the fridge is still "in my possession" past my billing date. read more

Weeks often go by without coin collection so we have no workable dryers and end up with wet clothes. No matter how many times the tenants of our building call customer service we only get lip service. The employees are really nice but management is the worst. My washer has been broken for almost FIVE WEEKS after submitting multiple service requests and follow ups! I'm a tenant of a building in Boston with one washer and one dryer. After the washer broke the first time, I submitted a request and they came 2 days later. That was great! But then it all goes down hill. They said they couldn't fix the washer but they'd be back. Two weeks pass and they haven't come back and I haven't received any updates. I follow up and hear NOTHING. A week after that, out of the blue they come back and "fix" the washer. Some time after that, I go down to wash clothes, (notice they upped the price,) put in my quarters, and start the machine. No water enters the washer. This means the washer has been out of commission for almost FIVE WEEKS after multiple service requests. I am livid at this point. I called hoping to speak to someone about it, but it was just a nice service person; it's not their fault. So here I am writing my first review about anything because it was such a bad experience. read more

This is a company that thinks about how to rip more money from you. They came to our apartment complex where we live and made clothes drying 15 minutes less than before, and every time the clothes are damp! 45 minutes is not enough for complete drying. It used to be 60 minutes for the same $ 2. Why is it more expensive now? Also, the inability to replenish the account for less than $ 5 is very inconvenient! If you counted on washing and drying, then you have extra money that is frozen in their account! and if you need to additionally dry your laundry, then you need to pay the minimum $ 5 again instead of $ 2. It is not comfortable! Also, the repair and maintenance of washing machines and dryers is terrible, it simply does not exist. I am very sad that we cannot have another service. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. If their outdated washer / dryers need service, you will have to bear the most rude person in all of customer-service history when you call CSC. She then may or may not remember to put in your service order. This is the third time we've tried to get someone out for repairs to their old washer/dryers, (her attitude the same each time) and she just says there was no work order placed. How is this possible? What do they do with these requests, then? The washers and dryers are old, they break down constantly and are long overdue to be replaced. They really have no customer skills and will leave outdated, unusable equipment in your laundry rooms for your residents to try to share. All the while, they are evading fixing them, giving their clients the worst attitude you will ever hear. Thus there is only one useful way this company serves the public: If you are training an employee in how NOT to behave, you can call this company. Otherwise, if you want to contract a company to use for laundry machines, you will want to call ANY other company. read more
