Stand outs were definitely the pizza and chicken plate. We also checked out some of the produce vendors and got some fresh peaches and a watermelon and they ended up being so sweet once we got home and tried them. They also have a plant nursery area with a variety of different plants, trees, and gardening items.

I've been driving by this place for a few weeks now and decided it was time to stop in and check it…read moreout last Saturday. I was by myself since my husband was working but did a quick walk around to see what they had (didn't really have intentions of buying anything, just wanted to see what it was like). They had a nice variety of produce and even some meats and cheeses that I am hoping to try in the future. There were many homemade goods (jewelry, soap, leather goods, knives) and a little cafe that I didn't check out too closely. The area was pretty packed with vendors and customers so I tried to keep moving since I wasn't paying. From my brief first glance, their prices were better than many farmers markets I've been to but still more than Kroger. The cafe looked incredibly cute and smelled good so I'm excited to go back and try it! My only complaint from my trip (which may change if I go again and am not alone) was that it was pretty cramped and hard to just walk through and look without every vendor stopping you and trying to seek their product to you. I probably wouldn't have minded if I had money to spend but my budget was out for the week. I mainly just wanted to look and get an idea what prices were so that I could go back and get the goods. I do expect my opinion to change (in a good way) when I go back, so I'll update my review as appropriate when I do!

Located in downtown Glasgow, this was one of the most organized Farmers Markets I've ever been to…read more All of the vendor's booths surround the courthouse and each were under white tents. I picked up my usual local FM finds, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, in addition to a loaf of baked blueberry zucchini bread and a mosquito plant... that smells like citronella. I would say that it's a larger than average Farmers Markets. It's about the same size as the Lexington Farmers Market and considering Lexington is the second largest city in Kentucky, that says a lot for the smaller city of Glasgow.

Definitely my favorite farmers market in Tennessee!…read more There are so many fantastic vendors here, you simply can't walk away buying nothing. Johnson Honey Farm is my absolute favorite honey, get the wildflower, you'll thank me later. I can't remember his name but the sweetest Italian man selling fresh pasta has a lemon ricotta ravioli that'll blow your mind. Vegetables galore, everything you could ever want. Today I got 3 giant bok choy for $3. Parking isn't fun, so I would recommend getting there early, or come with lots of patience and grace. Good variety of food trucks. Jay's has been a staple here for years and so good. The California truck is so fresh and delicious. Live music. People watching. It has everything.

It is located in the square around Rutherford County Historic Courthouse ( Murfreesboro ) There are alot of different vendors including Local Farmer's. There are seasonal Fruits and Vegetables, Homemade Sauces, Baked Goods and much more. It can and does get very busy so you may have to drive around a bit to find a street parking spot. There is also a garage, but I've never used it. You can usually find a spot. There are also usually a couple of food and beverage trucks and there are also some restaurants located in the square. All of the vendors are so nice and just walking around the square you can meet people out just enjoying the weather, the food and the people. You can spend an hour just enjoying the whole scene. I highly recommend if you've never been. Enjoy

Murfreesboro's Saturday Market is the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning in the summer!…read more The market runs from 8-12 every Saturday from May to October. There are several large produce booths every week, and a variety of smallest vendors that rotate. Besides produce, other vendors sell meat and eggs, baked goods, flowers, prepared meals, gourmet peanut butter, and arts and crafts. Whatever you're looking for, you'll find it at the market! The busiest hour of the day is 10am. I recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds and getting a parking space just off the square. If street parking is full, there is also a parking garage on Lytle street.
