A really cool place! The pastries and coffee are great (especially the carrot cake scone).

I love this store! It's very unique and has great products. It's pricey, but that should be expected given the merchandise. Great, friendly staff. It stays pretty busy so be prepared for a possible crowd. The bakery is good. Croissants are amazing. The breakfast isn't very good (beef sausage and gravy) and the service is very slow. We ordered drinks to have with our pastries and waited 35 minutes and finally just left. They need more help in the bakery/restaurant area. I haven't tried the pizza. The restaurant, store, and eating areas are very HOT during the summer. read more

Farmers Storehouse - Organic Stores Near Me - Sparta, Tennessee

Love the idea of the storehouse!! The first time we went it was delicious! Went again yesterday and was totally disappointed. The ladies in the cafe were rude, and I know that they cook to order, but the wait time was ridiculously long, there was only one other table ahead of us. By the time the food came we had already consumed our drinks. To spend over $30 for 2 people for breakfast is ridiculous and then have poor service is worse! The beef sausage was tasteless, similar to a dry overcooked hamburger. The atmosphere is quaint but I doubt we'll go back. read more

Took a drive after a friend recommended the flour. We were surprised we bought pasta, bread flour, pizza flour and even bought frozen lamb. They have a bakery/coffee shop attached. So of course I had to grab a loaf of bread. I will be back read more

Spent 30.81 on breakfast for 2 people. Had gotten the same plates there several times. Waited a half hour to get our breakfast. When it was served, my breakfast was minus an egg and toast. The waitress told me "that's the way it comes." I showed her the menu which described the breakfast with two eggs and two pieces of toast. My husbands omelette had no cheese or a minuscule amount barely being able to taste and looked short on eggs. It was a flat, thin egg with one piece of toast. Clearly missing ingredients. The owner came out and said it was a new cook. I saw the cook grab a menu. My eggs were hard and over cooked and my husband's omelette was absolutely tasteless and missing ingredients. When the other part of my breakfast came out, I gave it to my husband as he was still hungry. He is not a big eater, but he was clearly missing part of his breakfast too. The food there used to be just great! 2nd bad meal there. Will not go back. The girl at the counter was bordering on rudeness and with her blank personality shouldn't be working in customer service. It's a shame. Willing to pay for a good meal, but feel like I got ripped off. read more

It is a tantalizing storefront with cooking tools and utensils along with an assortment of honey, flours freshly milled to an eating area made with their own ingredients! What a pleasant experience! I will definitely be back! read more

Lovely store with tons of great local options. They were super helpful with explaining the different flours and picking out which ones would be best for what we wanted to make. We also picked up butternut squash from their farm stand. read more

Farmers Storehouse - Organic Stores Near Me - Sparta, Tennessee

After 5 or 6 friends told me I HAD to go to this store we made the drive to Sparta to check it out. I'm so glad we did. They have a beautiful, clean store filled with so many local goodies. The prices were very reasonable compared to similar stores(not that any compare to what you're getting here). Above all, nothing they sell here has been grown on farms using biosolids(which have negatively impacted so many of us in surrounding areas). Thank you for providing such quality products for us. We will be back!! read more

Farmers Storehouse - Cute stickers! - Organic Stores Near Me - Sparta, Tennessee

They make the most amazing Raspberry muffins! The store is super cute and quaint. The staff is absolutely amazing and very helpful. I highly recommend making this a go to spot. read more

This is the type of store I love to discover, and then.... I've been disappointed time after time. I won't be back. I love the organic products and beautiful items like rolling pins etc, but the main draw for me has been their pastries and bread. Of the last five visits, different times, different days, they have had nothing in their coffee shop side, NOTHING ! So after my 20 minute drive, I've wanted to spend money but couldn't. Teas are good, coffees not so much. When they do have edibles, they're amazing. But seriously need a supply/demand evaluation. The people seem nice, but I get the feeling that most of them would rather be somewhere else. It takes a long time to get service here. I wish they could do it right cause I love the idea of the store, just needs major follow through. Guess I need to learn how to bake my own sourdough bread :/ read more

Not good pizza. The pizza is extremely soggy and it tasted like there was no salt added to the dough or sauce.

I love this place! Everything is from local farmers and focused on health. They've expanded quite a bit and now have their own mill and lab to test purity. Stop in and check them out. read more

The eggs are not that fresh anymore. The freshest eggs available today are 9 days old. I did purchase some honey today. I was charged tax for a non-edible item? Not sure why. read more

Hidden Gem located in Sparta, TN! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Farmer John knows his stuff! Fresh dairy, baked goods and produce. Soaps to jams. Supplies. Organic grains. I love know what's in my family's food, where it comes from and that I'm using quality ingredients. One of my personal favorites is the chocolate biscotti. I also personally like keeping large amounts of baking supplies on hand so I buy the large pails, but they will definitely have a size that suits your family's needs as well. Other thing I love is that they are bringing knowledge to the people with the classes they offer, such as fermented foods, sourdough and permaculture. read more

This is my jam... both literally and figuratively. ( They sell really good jam! ) Whilst I desire nothing more than to make The Storehouse a significant part of my consumer experience, it is in need of refinement in order to justify this. The store itself is clean and spacious. Maybe lacking a clear identity. I appreciate the logic of marketing mostly shelf stable foods and general merchandise but perhaps providing more fresh and especially LOCAL ( They are providing more local now but there is still significant room for improvement ) items would compel one to come to your establishment more regularly. What would also encourage me to make the Storehouse more of a priority is if I felt valued as a person there; which I have not since my first visit. I don't mean customer service either. Just treating me like a valued human being would be a marked improvement. I don't need to be fawned over but I shouldn't believe that my existence is an inconvenience. I say this not to denigrate but because I can also tell that this isn't their intention. They should be lauded for trying so hard to connect to the community with their country esthetic and consistent special events. This fact should be supported and even treasured. Although, maybe the flow of the store could use some work. It feels a bit disjointed. What I would really like to see is local vendors! To bring more energy and personality. I'm sure this would be a nuisance but this would provide a dynamic vitality that is lacking. read more
