A neighbor recommended a public adjuster, Rich Elliot, from Barclays and we were glad for that referral. He knew how to negotiate with the carrier and politely asked me to let him do his job and stay out of the mix. To make a long story short, he got us a a great settlement and was very good at negotiating even the smallest details. Barclays rate was very reasonable and his fee was easily covered by he final payments we received. I'd recommend Rich highly and i would hope the other public adjusters who work there as even half as good as him.

He was referred to me by a plumber, and man how happy I am that he did! He was extremely responsive since day 1 (showed up to to my house within hours), so much so that I don't think I really ever had to reach out to him. He always kept me updated via phone, and texts (as I preferred and asked him to). He got the claim check to be 3x what the insurance company wanted to originally pay, because he knew ever single itemized item they could not argue for all the work that needed to be done throughout our house. For example, since our floorboards needed replaced, that meant the walls needed repainted, and since floors needed replaced, that meant we needed to hire a moving company, and that stuff (our stuff) needed storage somewhere while the floors were replaced... I cannot remember all of the details, but there was lots of stuff like that which I NEVER would have thought of or even known, so I'm extremely happy I had Peter handling everything for me. I trusted him with everything and I'm very glad I did as we got a lot more from the insurance claim which ultimately let us fix everything in our house that needed to be fixed. If you are hesitant, don't know what to do, and/or are frustrated with your claim process, just hire Peter, you won't regret it, I'm so glad I did.

I'm not comfortable writing a check to them and get a lawyer involved. The staff at the office is anything but cooperative or professional. Now that they lost Anthony, I would not recommend this company to anyone. As a sidenote, they are not part of the better business bureau.
