FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!…read more We had assumed a Candlewood Lake property in July of 2020...Sherman, CT. Understood the challenges of First Light prior to contracting with Harrington/Peter and team...VERY delayed First Light response/permitting process during COVID. We needed an existing wood dock/catwalk removal and demolition...and then the construction of a new aluminum dock/catwalk and installation. Needed another alternative to the dominant dock vendor operating on the lake today...who we were struggled to make contact with. Harrington was the exact alternative we were seeking for a higher end dock. Could not have been more pleased with the experience! Peter met with me in Q3, 2020...talked through plans/vision/requirements/pricing...talked through timeline. They were very open and transparent with their process and any delays (First Light permit delays, any supply chain issues...which they stayed ahead of throughout). Brittany was fantastic...always pro-actively reached out. Peter stopped over to stage materials and give me an update as he progressed. They ended up meeting our timeline...and absolutely surpassed our expectations with the dock. It is a very well-constructed structure. We have 4 kids and 2 dogs...who are jumping off the dock as I type this review...smiling ear-to-ear (dogs included). Thank you Peter and team!!! Please feel free to use us as a reference any time. Looking forward to working with you for years to come. Ethan, Cheryl and family!

They were on the scene within a few days of our offer being accepted on a home built in 1815. We were a little nervous and did not know what to expect. Tom's experience, know-how and ability to communicate and educate left us with a confident feeling that we were doing the right thing. He explained everything so that we could know what needed attention first and what was not a 'huge deal'. He was extremely thorough and seemed like he had seen everything before, whether as an inspector or a builder himself. With everything in this world having an exorbitant cost right now, this was an absolute value in all respects, we spent 3 hours on site with them before they started shooting videos and taking pics of items in the report.
