Love every visit here! Always courteous and always delicious! Perfect, fun Mexican style decor. I can't believe I haven't dropped a review before. My friend got the Joan Flaunta's (she usually gets her much loved chimichanga) and she enjoyed it completely. I admit I've mostly gotten different types of quesadillas, which I have loved every single time. I can't wait to bring home tacos to my husband one night soon!

The food is pretty amazing, and the staff is very polite. We ordered to go, but took some photos of the inside because of how well decorated and colorful their restaurant is. Highly recommended!

    Love that sombrero!

Josefa, our server, you ROCK! This restaurant is our go-to place for Mexican specialty food in that area. We tried something different. I built my own burrito and it was so fresh; the menu shows all 16 ingredients you can choose to include and I opted for Shrimp plus everything else minus cilantro. Everything is chopped, diced, shredded and assembled by chef Crystal and hubs. $13.95. Worth every dollar! And my hubs ordered the Tito's Burrito with White Queso! $12.95 BTW its BYOB! If you out and about near Bartonsville, PA along Route 209, across public parking lot from Dunklebergers Store.

There aren't a lot of sit down restaurants in the town of Brodheadsville to choose from. I didn't feel like I having Italian or Chinese food so I tried out Crystals, a restaurant that serves Mexican which I've been missing. Crystals is the only Mexican restaurant in the area (unless you wanna count Taco Bell...). I came in Friday early evening, with my boyfriend for dinner. The restaurant was quiet, only two other patrons were in the establishment. We had two lime Jarritos to start off with and chips and salsa on the house. The chips and salsa was impressive. They were toasted and the salsa was delicious topped with cilantro, seemed homemade. For our entrees, I ordered the Seafood Paella and my boyfriend ordered the Carnitas tacos with refried beans and rice. Both excellent and really good portions, great prices. The seafood paella was sooo tasty! One of the best paella I've ever had. The service was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back and I hope they stay in business.

New management, very polite and friendly.

Traveling in the area for work and I came acrosss Crystals in yelp. It seemed like most local places are fast food, and I normally try to stay away from that. Upon reading the reviews I felt like Crystals was a good option I couldn't decide if I wanted Mexican, so it was nice To see a number of different options. I opted for the gyro combo(gyro, fries, drink). It was excellent and the service was fast and pleasant. Overall I know I will return when I am in the area. Next time I will give the Mexican dishes a try and update the review accordingly Would r

Their desserts are great but their vegetarian dishes only have a few pieces of vegetables in them. They are mostly rice.

Disappointed with portion and quality. Fairly "vanilla" food with blah flavor. I make better Mexican at home tbh. Sorry ;(

My girlfriend got three pork tacos with pineapple. They were stellar due to high-quality meat that was perfectly prepared. The pineapple added some great flavor to the dish without adding sweetness. My barbacoa burritto (no rice by choice) came heavy with exceptional meat and flavor. Absolutely incredible and well balanced. And their guacamole is phenomenal. Although we cannot wait to order from here again, we look forward to visiting the restaurant. Our thanks to the entire kitchen staff for preparing amazing food as if we were dining in their establishment.

As a 5+ year resident in southern california i've come fairly accustomed to Mexican cuisine. I have…read moremy go-to's as well as trying something new from time to time to enrich my taste. that being said i was very interested in seeing what mexican food on the east coast could offer me. It's a small restaurant with limited parking and the dining space being fairly spacious considering its size. Walking in we approach an empty podium but are greeted with a warm welcome within seconds of entering. Our waitress politely greeted us and let us choose our seating. Within a few minutes we received menus and assistance with spice levels and items on the menu and for food i chose a few items. I started with a Chicken and cheese empanada. presentation was good and the flavor was OK but also isnt something i typically get. i didn't eat it right away and will say it's something that's best eaten the moment it hits the table. A few minutes later came the Flautas and i don't like to compare my food to other places but i couldn't help but think of my Fathers flautas when eating these. again, presentation is nice and they weren't inedible but it felt like something was missing. Minutes later came the Carnitas and barbacoa tacos with 1 of them being the carnitas and the rest barbacoa. The waitress recommended i eat the carnitas first then move onto the barbacoa. Doing just that i ate the carnitas and was immediately blown away. The Pico was well made and the flavor was something new, i couldn't compare nor think of something similar to its taste and that became my favorite thing there but moving forward the barbacoa was fairly the same as the flautas in the sense that something was missing. Presentation was good and the crunch on the tacos was just right; not too crispy, not too soft. My girlfriend has the Carne Asada plate with her rating being a 3/5 stating the carne asada was thinner than she prefers and portions being slightly uneven. Overall i'd give it a 3/5 but i give it a 4 due to excellent service. The ambiance is slightly lacking but is something that could improve overtime. For the price id say this place is a great choice for their tacos but some items are questionable. I would come back here again!
