The king room we got was very spacious, with very comfortable bed and clean shower. The gym is well equipped with cardio machines and weight lifting multi purpose machine plus some free weights. Included pool is average size, located next to the gym. Breakfast was included with our stay and it's the standard continental breakfast you get at every Hampton inn hotel except this dinning area includes self dispensing beer machine that charges $/oz. You may want to skip the beer dispenser for breakfast but it's in the dinning room area accessible throughout the day. Overall great experience. I hope the hotel owner focus his staff on keeping the hotel rooms clean as time moves on.

There was also spot where you can pay and pour your own beer from the tap. Pool, fitness center work area. And to top it off it is also pet friendly. Our room was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The hotel is more in the middle of the town close to the fields for the kids sporting events, grocery and plenty of places to eat. Really the best location in my opinion. With Hampton placing a hotel here it also brought in some additional businesses surrounding it, which was much needed in an area that had been ignored for a long time. Very happy with our stay.

If there was one thing I didn't like was the abundance of sports stations to choose from on the tv but they make up for that by having a dvd player in the room and a list of movies you can check out at the front desk (first time I've ever seen a hotel do this). Bed was very comfy and I slept fantastic. There was a nice desk in the corner plus a second chair that my mom could sit on. Oh and outlets - there were plenty of places to plug in which in today's world is a plus given all the devices that need charging. The other really cool thing was stitched onto the pillow covers were the words firm and soft, two of each per bed so you knew which pillows were which. The free breakfast had a fantastic selection, cereal, yogurt, eggs and sausage and a pancake machine. I saw that one a bit to late but next time...I'm not sure when I will be back but my husband will be staying there next month. Thanks for the fantastic stay. Bottom line is if you find yourself traveling in Columbus Nebraska there are two things you want to do - Stay at the Holiday Inn and try Dorthy Lynch salad dressing.

It looked terrible but we decided to try it. When I turned on the jets the moldy, mildewy smell coming from the water was overwhelming so we shut them off and got out. There were brown marks on the bottom by the circulation pumps. Disappointing. The pool looked cleaner but the water was really cloudy. Our room was well furnished, and the hot water flowed abundantly. The reason why I stay at Hampton Inns as opposed to Holiday Inns is the amount of extras that they offer at a reasonable price. There rooms are well appointed with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryers, and cable. Joelynn (sp?) has been the General Manager, and her staff is excellent. Melissa who confirmed my reservation for three rooms was very engaging as well. We had three rooms and the housekeeping staff was on it daily. It is the perfect hotel in a small town. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The only challenge was that they had run out of waffle mix and waffles were not available Sunday or Monday. We will be back soon, and will stay at the Cobblestone Hotel again.
