I'm really not sure why they have such an attitude but it bothers me. I go out of my way to be polite and say please and thank you. I always tip the appropriate amount or more. We have started going out of town if we want good Mexican food with decent service. Since the owners and employees of the establishment have made us feel so unwelcome, we decided to take our business elsewhere.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the ambience inside was very casual and welcoming. I didn't realize that I've been here before, but after eating here again brought back memories, and funny how I ordered the same fried green tomatoes as the first time I came in both times they did not disappoint. I don't recall a gift shop but now they have that here. Great one stop shop.

The restaurant was somewhat empty when I arrived but it can definitely house a large group of people if needed. The ambiance is very causal and welcoming. The food came out quickly. I did enjoy my food, but the chicken was a bit dry and lacked something maybe some seasoning or needing something pickled. Regardless, I ate it all, the collard greens tasted good but way better in some vinegar. Overall, the experience was good and I enjoyed my food.
