This kind is the far infrared chamber where you lie down. It was nice! They are really generous with providing a layer of clean, fresh towels covering the entire bed and pillow. I wasn't sure if it would be too hot. It turns out it was so relaxing I fell asleep in like 10 minutes!! I think since my head was out of the chamber, the heat was tolerable and I woke up drenched in sweat!! I had that buzzy endorphin feel after working out! David and his mother who run it are really nice, helpful and passionate about what they do. David was able to explain the whole process and how the far infrared sauna works. They both were really kind and happily took the my time answering questions. It was not packed, but they were steadily busy when I went. I fall asleep really easily so I did not have any issue with background noise, but for folks who are light sleepers you might want to bring ear plugs, but they also provide them for you if you forgot to bring them. I didn't need them. In the front they also sell crystals, drinks to hydrate, gifts and other fun stuff. Thank you!

The next day I went to finally try the sauna, which I was very excited about since pretty much all saunas at gym locations were off limits due to covid, which not only do they clean the rooms, but they also place fresh new towels even if you don't use them, they also sanitize everything, so you don't have to worry about covid at this place. When I got there I was greeted by the man behind the desk (didn't get his name) and not only was he nice, but also very professional. Once it was time to go to the room he explained to me how it works and they gave me extra time since it was my first to get relaxed and understand the heating controls. Once the session was over I was asked how I felt and I was made sure I enjoyed my time. I wasn't pressured to get a membership or anything... I honestly didn't know what to expect coming here and when I first saw the pricing online I thought it was a little pricey, but the pure professionalism of this place is just too good, not to mention the health benefits of the sauna itself. I absolutely recommend this place!

Several of my friends have hailed HBOT, and I wish I had followed suit sooner, as this is the best I've felt in such a long time, especially after experiencing a second bout of Covid symptoms. My activity has skyrocketed to where I'm crushing my workouts, inflammation is reduced, and I'm sleeping like a rock. I also feel like I'm breathing much better, filling my lungs with fresh, wholesome air. Out of any health enhancement technology, this is truly revolutionary. The staff was also friendly, scheduled me in that morning, and provided me with a walkie-talkie in case I needed anything. I feel like I've stumbled upon a secret gem. I was only in the chamber for 60 minutes, so I wonder how more treatments will feel.

They provide gloves and fuzzy socks along with shoes you wear during your session. They explain everything which was great because I was nervous as it was my first time. A little out of my budget to come here routinely, but great every now and then when I need something to help me recover from an intense workout.

I went in after a long, exhausting…read moretrip specifically for an IV to help me relax and recover, but the whole thing felt like a waste of time and money. The person administering the IV was incredibly egotistical and self-absorbed. She spent the entire session talking non-stop about herself--her life, her stories, her opinions--barely acknowledging me or my needs. It was supposed to be a relaxing, restorative treatment, but instead I felt like I was stuck listening to a one-woman podcast I never signed up for. To make matters worse, the guy working the door looked like a cartoon character and wouldn't stop bragging about all their locations and how amazing the company is. It came off as pushy sales tactics rather than genuine care. The vibe was more infomercial than wellness center. Honestly, if I ever need an IV again, I'd rather just go to a local emergency room. At least there I'd get actual medical professionals who focus on the patient instead of stroking their own egos or pushing their brand. Save your time and money--skip this place.

I came to Dr. Shea with a nerve-related injury after struggling to self-diagnose and work effectively with a local PT. I'm a powerlifter and was experiencing a strange numbness that would only present itself under heavy loads and at key points in movements. I decided to visit a Chiropractor by recommendation of a PT friend (not the person treating me). I chose this particular practice because I felt that at a self-owned practice, the practitioner is highly encouraged to provide the utmost attention to detail -- and I was right. Unlike other visible injuries, we're constrained by what I choose to convey as a patient and Dr. Shea's ability to 'feel' out potential problem areas. I'm beyond grateful of our ability to hypothesize together, test, and focus in on the root cause. Over multiple sessions with her, I was able to get to a place where I was comfortable under light load. Taking my responsibility to test movements and collect information allowed us to hone in on where the true underlying cause existed. We now have a good idea of which nerve is being compressed, where in the squat and deadlift movements is it being agitated, and how/why is my movement causing the unintended compression. Through that, I'm now back to the gainz with a plan to correct deficiencies and enter competition stronger than before. Thank you, Dr. Shea.

I was told to bring in my X-rays from 2020, patient notes from my NC doctor along with the measurements for my specific case. I had been experiencing headaches and nausea so this is what alerted me to know my atlas was off and needed adjusting. I waiting 6 weeks for a New Patient appointment, brought the hard copies of all the information requested. Here are the PROS and CONS of my experience. PROS: Location of office easy to get to/ Parking is plentiful. CONS: Doctor took me 25 minutes late for my 1st appointment after being urged to arrive early to complete paperwork/ Dr. Dolan disputed my medical history of having "ruptured discs" in my cervical spine...saying they couldn't be ruptured despite the MRI saying they were herniated / During his new patient exam (within 5 minutes of my running shoes being taken off) he tried to sell me the orthotics he sells..saying my "type" of foot would lead to knee and hip issues without having them / After the new patient exam, reviewing my X-rays and Orthogonal Measurements from my previous doctor...he informed me he still needed more information and asked me to call my NC doctor. The end result is that I paid $165 for a new patient exam which consisted of him measuring my leg length, having me touch my toes, lift and lower my chin and then him feeling around on the back of my skull and neck. He wanted more information from my NC doctor, but after talking with them on the phone a few days later, still decided he needed me to come in for him to take all new X-rays (3 x $65) + a follow up X-ray ($65) post my first adjustment. I have seen 2 other Atlas Orthogonal doctors and have never experienced so much delay and uncertainty. Sadly, I have decided to continue flying back to NC to get my tune ups when needed, rather than trust my care to Dr. Dolan who made me feel like he only wanted to charge me for more things, didn't value my time and only valued his way/opinion. Best of luck if you need Atlas Orthogonal care. I would have given ZERO stars is possible and do not recommend anyone to this practice.
