Kate is an exceptionally skilled massage therapist who truly understands the body and how to tailor…read moreeach session to her client's needs. From the moment the session begins, it's clear she is both knowledgeable and intentional in her technique--balancing therapeutic depth with relaxation. She listens carefully, checks in appropriately, and consistently targets problem areas with precision and care. I always leave feeling noticeably better, both physically and mentally. If you're looking for someone who is professional, intuitive, and genuinely excellent at what she does, I can't recommend Kate highly enough.

I really enjoyed my massage. Kate is definitely a very talented massage therapist and her work on…read moremy shoulders and back was especially amazing. She also responded to my emails very quickly and was able to book an appointment for me much sooner than I had expected. Her office is in some sort of office suite in an apartment complex which made it rather difficult to locate from the street. Also, you have to be buzzed in to enter the suite. It appears that the professionals in the suite do not employ a receptionist (there is no front desk) and that they just buzz in clients in between their appointments. I thought this was rather inconvenient because I arrived about 20 minutes early and had to wait outside in the rain because no one responded to my buzz (I assume Kate was with another client). I would definitely give Kate five stars on the massage, but I am not sure I'd return because of the office set up. I'd prefer to go to a spa or someplace with a reception area where I can relax a bit before the massage.

This was arguably one of the best spa experiences I've had. Even before the treatment, the staff…read morewas very accommodating to me and my friend when we were both running late. We signed up for the 120 minute experience with the massage and head spa. Sophie and Katie took such good care of us from start to finish. The pressure for the massages were just right and we were constantly checked in on to make sure we were comfortable. The head spa was a more thorough experience than I imagined it would be as it included a mini facial, foot soak with massage, and arm massage. It was a very efficient and thorough experience that left me completely relaxed by the end of it all. Would love to come again the next time I visit Boston!

Negative-The massage overall felt harsh and hurried and the room was chilly. She was not consistent and I could not fully relax. The scalp massage was hard and overdone. I had a headache after which I know is common with massages but the pressure was excessive. I had to tell her to lighten up a couple times. The directions were not clear with what to do during transitions. Positive- warmed eyemask during scalp massage, asked several times if we were okay, and water was warm and comfortable. A couple improvements- slow down during massaging, use a diffuser or scent in the room, warming blanket or bed, try different techniques with scalp and not so hard on the scalp, learn how to give a classic blow out after scalp massage.
