This was some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time. No frills, served on butcher paper with Wonder bread. Hands down, best BBQ in Brevard county. The meat is sold by weight so be careful, you can rack up a heafty bill quick. The brisket is melt in your mouth goodness. The turkey is juicy, not dry like most you will find. Ribs and pulled pork are good too. They only use salt and pepper to season the meat, so no sauce or rub overpowering the meat flavor. Lots of time and love put into smoking these meats. We had the Mac n cheese and baked beans as sides. Both delicious! My one miss critique would be the bread pudding. Gotta serve bread pudding warm. We went to Crydermans for lunch because I wanted bbq and Crydermans is highly recommended. I ordered sausage and pulled pork sandwich with their creamy Mac and cheese. My wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich and beans. We are in agreement that there wasn't anything other than ordinary about any of the food and certainly not worth the price when compared with other bbq we have had elsewhere (not in this area). The pulled pork was very wet and not very flavorful, the sausage was rather bland and I am just not a fan of creamy Mac and cheese. I will say that the beans were passable. Best Brisket since I left NM 35 yrs ago. Portions good. So tasty u don't even need extra sauce though the sweet BQ sauce is good. Reminds me of the outside eateries of Dallas, Austin & San Antonio. Big E on the hunt again for the best BBQ in America again. My son had been raving about this place trying to get me to go for about a year now. To be totally honest I hold Franklins in Austin as the gold standard in commercial bbq and while I have tried hundreds of places all over USA have found very few that stand up to that measure and even fewer in Florida. That all changed with this trip.. my only disappointment was that they were sold out of ribs and sausage when I got to the place at about 12:30. That said was so impressed with pulled pork, brisket, turkey and cold slaw will definitely return to try the other items.. like any truly great BBQ joint you can order exactly what you want by the Pound or ordered all the above quarter pound each side of slaw and side of beans. Other test of great bbq is will it stand on its own without any sauce.. all the above passed with flying colors..brisket both fatty and lean were perfectly cooked , pulled pork same with just the right mix of bark and moist flavorful tender pork, turkey agin perfectly cooked , tender, moist and just right amount of smoke and spice from rub. Talked to the owner and manger and some other staff and these guys really work at their craft .. for instance they were light smoking some duck to use in a confit for a taco special.. almost drove back a few hours just to try this I was so impressed. Won't say it's better than Franklins but would say they have a right to be mentioned in the same breath and lay claim to best BBQ in Flordia. Placed a pick up order for about a half hour ago. The person who answered was nice, polite and knowledgeable. She offered to sign me up for rewards which seems like a good program, I just don't live in the area so it wouldn't be worth it for me. My boyfriend and I ordered the Feast Your Soul and we're so glad we did. It comes with a sample of all the meats and two sides. If you can't make up your mind on what you want, get this. We also got side pickles, onions, sweet and mustard BBQ sauce. When we arrived, it was storming so my bf dropped me off at the door. I completely forgot my mask but they were nice and said they would serve me outside. I waited just a few minutes and the gentleman came out with his tablet and asked for tip and signature. Right when I got back to the car, I tore into each meat and was not disappointed at any of them. Tender, juicy and flavorful. We loved them all but my boyfriend favored the smoked turkey. The mac and cheese was amazing. It had a nice little kick to it. We also got the potato salad but it wasn't our favorite. We're more of a mayonnaise and egg based potato salad couple. Stopped by yesterday and I was the first customer in line. They had just open ended at 11 and I tried 1 lb of Brisket, Turkey and Ribs. I spent $75 with 4 rolls and an 18% tip. Because I own two smokers, I have a hard time getting past 4 stars but this place is still worth it as the best BBQ in the area. Super good BBQ. Recently moved to this area from Houston. Is it as good as the few top spots in Houston (Pinkertons or Pit Room) ? No. But, darn close !! We got the platter to try everything. Stopped in today to try the all wood smoked homage to Texas style BBQ these guys are becoming well known for. I was not disappointed! Ordered up a little of everything except the pulled pork. So, I got some Fatty brisket, house made beef sausage, turkey breast, St. Louis style pork ribs, scratch made macaroni and cheese (they start it off with a roux, guys ... come on!!!!), baked beans, and Fat Elvis bread pudding. I left church in West Orlando around 1:30pm STARVING since I skipped breakfast. I was hoping to find some good eats near Cocoa beach figuring me and my mate could have a wonderful lunch and then walk it off near the ocean. Boy were we in luck! We had been craving some brisket so off to work he went web surfing for the local's favorite BBQ brisket spot near Cocoa Beach. We stumbled upon the stellar reviews for Cryderman's which was right near Cocoa Village where we like to walk. Because it was a little over 30 min away we called and a nice gentleman named Chad answered the phone and confirmed for us that they still had brisket so we went on our way to check it out. We value quality over quantity no matter how hungry we are and let me just tell you that it was totally worth the short trip! When we walked in Chad greeted us nicely again not knowing I was the person he had just talked to on the phone although I think he had a suspicion. We had a few questions on the menu and they were graciously answered by the staff. We cracked a few jokes while waiting for them to plate our order. We got 1 lb of beef brisket and a smoked turkey sandwich. The brisket came with a couple pieces of white bread which we declined as the Turkey sandwich was presented on a nice sandwich roll. They sliced the turkey meat so it was easy to share. There was an extra piece that we hated to see go to waste and since it was our first time and we came such a distance they let us sample it. The turkey meat is dipped in this awesome secret butter sauce that I think they should call "solid gold". My tongue went to heaven it was just blissful! I almost had to take my mate to the hospital because he bit his fingers licking them lol (just kidding no one was harmed in this review). We took the pickle slices, white onion and pickled onions that are offered as garnishes. With a quick stop by the sauce station which offers a few kinds we decided on the Swisher Sweet and a Mustard base. I liked both but the mustard was my favorite. My mate faved the swisher sweet. Either option you pick...you know the sauce will be pretty good when you can see the seasoning in the sauce! Speaking of seasoning....Ive made you wait long enough...they have not just any old brisket but it was really delicious...*wipes tear of Joy* I mean it had just the right balance of fat marbling and plenty of seasoning type of brisket! *insert Hallelujah here* We didn't pick any sides due to not eating pork and trying to keep carbs low but they sounded like pretty good options as well. My sweet tooth wanted some of the "Strawberry Crack" dessert because any dish I have ever had with the word crack in it has been worth becoming addicted too lol but I beat out temptation this round. We sat outside where the decor is very modern rustic. It looks like a converted service station but the space works really well. Its a really cute and comfy spot. Just as we started to smash everything, Chad who we figured out after this point is the owner, came out to give us samples of the pork ribs and beef sausage. I wish I could tell you how good the sausage was...lets just say it was lit! We politely declined the pork ribs (he wasn't there for convo with his staff about the us avoiding their pork side dishes) but let me tell ya they looked lit as well. I saw they had a special "apple butter" bbq sauce on them...if I ate pork he would have had me at apple butter. A group came in behind us and ordered the pulled pork sandwiches and they were heaping with goodness as far as I could see. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! Please stop by this place when in Cocoa. Went with my wife for lunch last week. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich (6oz meat) for $9. Came with a bun, that was it..had to buy cole slaw side for $3. In contrast, my wife bought 4oz of pulled pork (she is gluten intolerant) for $4.50. So, it cost me an additional $4.50 for 2oz of meat and a bun. Check the menu, do the math...what a joke. The good news? The meat was not greasy or fatty. The bad news? Was not one of the better BBQ pulled pork either of us have had...could have had more smokey flavor. Also, both of us thought the "hot" BBQ sauce was not hot and that both the sweet and the hot sauce were way too sweet. In contrast, the mustard sauce was pretty good. Nice facility and servers. We enjoyed eating outside. However, $9 for a 6oz sandwich with no sides was too much. Go with the meat by the pound (or smaller portions) and bring your own sauce (or bring it home). Overall, I wanted to be impressed but was not. Way too expensive ($9 for sandwich and a side would be the expectation). Wacky pricing. Take out only IMHO. YMMV. read more

Brisket here is the BEST I've tasted--EVER. Melt in your mouth kind of meat. Bummer if you're vegan because you're totally missing out on some awesome flavor. The Mac and cheese had good flavor but they served me the oldest batch. The cheese was starting to curdle. For $40 I don't think I'll be back. AND I don't mind paying the price for quality foodie food. But I felt ripped off. I could have gone to Sonnys BBQ and had good quality ribs for a fraction of the price. Three of us came hungry on a Saturday for lunch. We got everything, fatty brisket, pork, turkey, ribs, beans, slaw and mac-n-cheese. Everything was on the same tray that we put down in the middle of the table so we could all get to it. Brisket is usually my least favorite smoked meat because it's so often very dry.
