We've been eyeing Crydermns for several months, and I'm glad we finally made it. We live in Indialantic, so the Coco location is a little far for us, but it was a nice day, so the drive down A1A was pretty. It's a limited menu, but I think that's what you want from most places, especially bbq - do what you do, and do it REALLY well. I had the Hybrid, and my husband had the Two Step. Both were fantastic, and we'd get them again. The mac and cheese and walnut cookie were also great. Flipping dericious! Not heavily seasoned, meat is tender and just melts in the mouth! I ordered the 1/2lbs brisket and 1/4lbs pulled pork (choice: fatty because that's where the flavors are at). I added the spicy sauce just because I wasn't a 100% sure if it was hyped up BBQ place. Certainly lives up to the other positive reviews. Sides, they had slaw, beans and mac n cheese. I love barbecue. I grew up near Lexington NC, the barbeque capitol of the world. I also smoke my own pork and beef over a charcoal and wood fire, slow cooking it to that fine, perfect point of 205 degrees where the bone just slides out of the meat. I said that to say this. The wife and I stopped here for a Sunday lunch and short of my own, this is the best barbeque I have ever eaten. My wife and I shared the sampler plate (serves one but there's enough for two people). With that you get a choice of two sides. I can highly recommend this plate and the mac-and-cheese and dill potato salad as your sides. This is a non-alcohol establishment but there are fountain drinks and ice tea. The only seating I saw was outside under cover but here on the space coast, the temp seems to be pleasant. The pulled pork and brisket were AMAZING and the coleslaw was too! Everything has great flavors and the meat was cooked perfectly. Service: 4.5/5 All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a nice menu with not too much stuff, but just enough to get something for everyone. The food was out pretty fast while it was busy. Location: 4/5 There building is out of downtown sort of, which is nice because it isn't packed ALL the time. There building is so small they can only fit the kitchen so there is only outdoor seating. We seriously drive an hour and the beach is just a perk because Crydermans is the star of Cocoa. The staff is friendly and efficient. It's one of the best meals you'll have in your life. It isn't too often things make a solid 5 for me but this place had the flavor. Walking up to it, clearly this was different - everyone is outside eating at picnic tables. They were crowded and I was hot so eating outside wasn't going to be my first choice. I got past it quickly as I strolled past the plates of food. They are super friendly here. You walk in and order by the pound, that was little confusing but the guy cutting the meat was more than willing to show you what amounts you were getting before you just scream one pound of it all. Trust me- it could be easy to do on that their sausage. I felt like I wanted more choice for sides but what they did have was fantastic. My husband got the rice and beans which had the sausage mixed in. I was in line when he ordered it and was like it looks unappealing - hard pass. I ended up eating most of it once outside after he prompted me to try it. Don't pass it up! It does have s little kick to it though. I don't like heat but it's manageable. We spent a Saturday afternoon exploring the downtown area of Cocoa. We worked up an appetite and had a late lunch at Crydermans. All of the seating is outdoor seating, which didn't bother me as much as some other reviewers. I had the countdown platter with pulled pork, ribs, and Turkey with two sides (beans and Mac&Cheese). The beans were very tasty, but I didn't love love the Mac & Cheese. My partner had the brisket sandwich with a side of the creamy coleslaw. The coleslaw was meh. I am not generally a fan of brisket because I find it too fatty and greasy; my partner loved it though and couldn't say enough good things. The Turkey I had was FANTASTIC (insert chef's kiss here). The ribs were fatty and tough. I liked the "crust" flavor on the ribs. Their sauce was okay, but not knock out. The servers who took our order were super friendly and helpful. Like other reviewers I get turned off when your are asked to provide a tip at the register....it's just a little icky to me. Anyway, the food was solid...I would go back. read more

My family ordered a to go order from here and the portions were ridiculous for the price. We each ordered the combo which was $30 each. I got a double rib and brisket combo and only received two singular ribs and one slice of brisket. In addition, I am someone who usually adds salt to everything and love anything salty, so when I say all I could taste on the meat was salt and some pepper it's a lot. Only been here once and it was to pick up food for a small New Year's Eve party and for less Than $100 we got food for 7 people including sides and it was still too much food. It was great, the meat was perfectly cooked and it tasted amazing. It's been over a month now and NOTHING. Buyer beware! There is a one star rating only because I couldn't post otherwise. I am so flipping ticked off right now! We paid $250 for the prime rib roast Christmas dinner and the roast is completely inedible! At least a third of it is fat! The salt level would cause the AMA to issue a warning! Thankfully the sides are ok and we're having a mostly vegetarian Christmas Eve dinner. Two bites of roast to make sure we're not crazy. That's it! It will be going in the garbage!
