The seating is comfortable with plenty of space so it never felt crowded or overwhelming. The food was surprisingly good for a comedy venue and the service stood out the most. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night. The location is also a big plus since there are plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby, which makes it easy to turn your visit into a full evening out. Overall, this is a great spot to go with someone whether it is a date or just a night out with friends. I would definitely come back again.

I think something like $40 minimum? So all around its around $100 total I would say. The vibe was great. There was a dj, and a good playlist prio too the show. And there was staff to help direct everyone on where to grab tables. Overall it was good crowd and folks of all kinds came ready to have a good time. Food- I got the buffalo wings and a margarita. Both were fine. Service- was fair, I think our server was called Biggie, or something like that? The show was great, had fun!

My friend purchased tickets through Groupon. The second time we went, the employee gave us a free upgrade from balcony to mezzanine which was awesome. If you want to splurge, they do offer the royalty throne seats which they will auction off at the start of the show. As royalty, you do have some control during the show which adds to the fun. The Emerald Theater is small and intimate and is designed as a library. When you enter, you receive a welcome shot and a membership card. Each seat has a QR code that you can scan to order food and drinks before and during the show. I've gone to two productions and both have been hilarious! The cast was actually different between the two shows and they both did a fantastic job! I saw "Romeo and Juliet" last summer. The show was raunchy and went off the rails pretty quickly. If you're easily offended, I would recommend skipping this show. It loosely followed the plot and was so wild (in the best way)! A few months later, we saw "A Christmas Carol" (3, 2, 1, Dickens!). We were chatting with one of the actors, Tatiana before the show and she offered me the opportunity to take a shot with her. What I didn't realize is that I was going to be doing a shot on stage with her at the start of the show to prove that the alcohol was real (it was straight rum). She took 4 shots of rum and held her own! It was actually quite incredible lol. The show was so funny and not quite as raunchy as Romeo and Juliet. The Drunk Shakespeare Society also performs "Drunk Dracula" in October. They have a pirate show that's going to debut this summer as well (which I'm sure will be hilarious). This is such a fun experience and I am looking forward to going back!

This review is for their performance in Houston…read more If you've been to other Cirque Du Soleil in the race park before then you know that there's no way around paying for parking. It will cost you $12 to park. The good thing about the parking is it was super organized so even though there were long lines of cars trying to park, the lines were moving; and once I had paid, the attendees directed me where to go and it took me less than a minute to park. Before you can enter the Grand Chapiteau, you have to go through your typical security measure. There are no metal detectors but they will look inside your purse if you have one. I was here with my sister and she didn't have a purse so we didn't even get checked. She did have a jacket on her but they didn't check it. This means you could sneak in your own snacks/drinks should you be inclined to. Why would one be inclined to sneak in their own snacks/drinks? Well, a bottled water/soda will run you $5. Nachos will run you $10. A Cotton candy will run you $8. Hot dog will run you $7. You see where I'm going with this? If you're coming here with your family (kids, wife, girlfriend, whatever), then you be better be ready to be dropping some $$$$. As for the show, it's your typical CDS stage/seating. You have the round stage with the seats surrounding them. I was lucky enough to get good seats to the right side and three rows from the stage so I was able to see everything clearly. If you opt to sit toward the back, some times you can't even see the faces of the performers clearly. The show started at eight on the dot. Some of the performances are pretty typical CDS where it would amaze you what a human body can do with training (contortionist, balancing act, juggling). Some of the other acts were more creative (invisible circus, finger dancing, animal impression). One act in particular was a combination of both where you have this dude playing yo-yo in the middle of the stage, but holy cow, he could control them yo-yos like they were a part of his body. I felt like he should have been competing in international yo-yo championship or something. All in all, I was happy with the show. This was also my sister's first Cirque Du Soleil and so everything was brand new to her and she was thoroughly impressed with the performances. CDS is always a fun event to go to and I definitely will go to whatever other Cirque Du Soleil shows that would make a stop in Houston.

Houston parking was $12; I parked the furthest away and still it wasn't far from the tent. I was concerned that the AC might not be working from a heads up review 4 days earlier...but, thankfully the AC was on and blowing good!! Toilets looked like porta pottys but they actually had lights and hooks to hang your purse---speaking of...I walked in the stall and there hung a yellow bag and a Kurios souvenir! I was like...HOW can one forget ALL that? Turned it in to an employee...hope the lady got her stuff back. The seats are small and very close together...I chose an end seat so I'd only have one person beside me. My seats were stage right 8 rows back...awesome! Show was exciting...as usual, I was amazed. Do yourself a favor and attend a Cirque de Soleil soon...it's well worth the $$$

I don't remember them serving food while I was there, but the drinks were definitely flowing. The bartender was friendly and quick with the mixes -- no long waits at the bar, which is always a plus when the place starts getting busy. The energy really picked up once the house music got going. The DJ kept the crowd moving, and the whole space felt lively without being overwhelming. I also appreciated that they had plenty of seating, including booths for groups who wanted to sit back, catch up, and still enjoy the music. It's a solid spot whether you're there to dance or just hang out with friends.

The venue does have clear bag and bag check policies, so make sure to check on their policies on their website before arriving. This location hosts multiple different businesses. Once arrived at the location, finding the entrance/floor to the venue itself was confusing unless you've been here before. There was barely any instructions on how to get to the actual venue itself. It is located on the third floor, and the elevator for that is old and smelly. The interior of the venue was not bad, but it wasn't the best either. The venue's lighting was also super dark even before/after the concert. My group had the front row balcony seat, and the view was actually pretty decent. I had purchased the party pass which came with priority entry, a small selection of foods, and a drink. You can find the menu on their website, but the menu is pretty pricey. I got the lemonade and chicken tenders/fries, and they tasted okay. My friend had the second row floor seat (which at certain spots were blocked by stage equipments). She also paid for the associated parking ahead at the time of booking, but the parking turned out to be super far from the venue, which wasn't great either. Overall I probably would not come back here unless there was a concert I really didn't want to miss.
