Crusader is tucked away in an office park right on district blvd. There plenty of parking and they host a couple of different events like cooking classes and line dancing. A group of us came for line dancing and it was great fun. Last time I came they didn't have food options so that's been a pleasant addition. They have a good mix of beers on tap and other drinks like cocktails and ciders. My one gripe is that I was so hot in the dancing area! It would have been nice to have some of the industrial fans blowing to get a breeze going. Otherwise great time and service. read more

What a neat hidden gem! I visited recently after having this spot on my list to check out, and I'm very glad I finally stopped in! The interior is super cute and on theme! You can tell they take what they do seriously by the quality of their food, while not taking themselves too seriously through the fun ways they lean into the knight theme through their fun decor and menu. The Loaded Crusader Burger and fries were very delicious and surprisingly affordable. Nice bun, thick bacon, crispy onion ring, juicy patty. The woman behind the bar was very kind and the restaurant was spotless. They have a larger venue in the back which looked nice for events I would like to check out one day. read more

I went to Crusader Brewing for the first time last night because I heard that a local band, Evil Empire, was playing! Personally, I don't drink beer but I had some family visiting from out of the country so I'm glad to bring them to a place that serves local brews! Had a wonderful evening at Crusader Brewing for their inaugural Comedy Night. This brewery set within an industrial complex is a neat find. The entrance bar area is nicely decorated and very comfortable. There were plenty of interesting beers on tap with very accurate descriptions of what they were, the alcohol percentage and the style. Really liked this cute brewery; however didn't like the only option was tacos . Overpriced tacos 3/$10. My friend had specifically called earlier in the day and they said they would have the food menu; so much dissatisfied when they didn't... was really looking forward to some of the items. Ordered tacos with one of each meat selection and all the toppings and salsa; when it was brought to me ... it was almost liked they picked whatever they wanted to give me. I ate it cuz i was hungry. The workers; are busy and friendly. If you were a service member or an ems you get a discount ; which was a nice surprise. Loved that they do that: big plus and much appreciated. The back room where the comedy show was; was perfect size and had very good audio. Good comedy show! Would recommend coming here for an event. The lady working the business was so drunk. She seemed like a nice lady but it was difficult to understand what she was saying. I had never been there so I was not familiar with the beers they had and they are not marked to where you can read them easily so I asked what beers they had, all I could make out was October fest so that's what I got. I probably would have picked something different had I known the other types of beers they had but a settled for that one since it's the only beer I could understand they had. We both got the one drink, when it came to pay she was charging is someone else's tap. We told her that was not ours and she was nice about it and fixed it. Very cute atmosphere for the inside. Outside in the warehouse section where the dance floor is at it's a little hot, so make sure that you're prepared to sweat when it's hot outside but they do keep water outside in case you get hot. The spike soda was good and the customer service was OK. The only reason why I'm saying it's OK because it seemed like they were too friendly to outsiders or maybe to trans people not really quite sure felt a little hostile. Especially one guy that kind of had a little bit of an attitude. Honestly, I'll consider going back sometime maybe. read more

Craft brewery with great selection and friendly feel! Weirdly specific, but my nerdy high school self felt at home in this brewery! Don't know how to explain it, but If we could have drank in high school this would have been the place to go after a speech and debate tournament or a theater performance. A Saturday at Crusader is my kind of vibe. There's a people but not an overwhelming amount. The entry way is small, well at least you think it's going to be small but when you step inside is there is so much space. I absolutely loved it. There's a patio and a patio outside the patio. There was also food which I did not get to try but it smelled so amazing. There's darts, plenty of sitting areas and it's nice and warm for these chilly nights. The only thing I wish is that the music was a little louder it's kind of quiet but what I could hear was good! Can't wait to come back! read more

This experience was different.. and so much better. Came to support a charity event for Michaelangelo's pizza in the lot (must buy food to get a beer) and had a half pint inside while I waited. Well behaved dogs welcome in the back which is a large, fanned seating area. Nice cool floor for your dog to lie on. There was no wait for me to get my beer at all and I was able to try a couple of their new hard sodas. Thanks, Andy! She is super nice on the phone too. I got to speak to the owner who knows his beer stuff and was super nice to my pooch. It was not busy and I was able to relax with a new, light German style beer called Scavenger. Crusader is elite level. They specialize in European style beers. A nice alternative to IPA's and hoppy beer. The owner/brewer made it a point to explain the backstory to his beers and generously gave me samples. He cares about his customers and made it a point to make me feel welcomed. The place has a chill vibe. The beer quality was solid top to bottom on the menu. This place is on the same level with some of the top breweries in the state. This place has magical brews.. like a unicorn, or a rainbow. BUT BETTER. Service at crusader.. is like what I imagine they have in heaven next to God. TOP NOTCH. I love this place! I've only been here once but I can see myself coming back. This is located at the District BLvD in the Southwest side of town, also becoming popular as the area for breweries. This place looked small from the outside but wait till you get in. They have the bar room, then HUGE area with stage or for concerts and a huge outdoor area. That means, plenty of seating for large groups and huge parties. They don't serve food here but they have regular food trucks that parks outside the brewery, Of course you can bring your food inside. For their drinks, I had their cherry seltzer, really yummy!!! So yummy I ordered their to go cans. Hubby comes here regularly with friends, so I know that he's a fan of this place. Really nice place. Friendly and attentive employees. The beer is really good and they seem to have a rotation with new flavors. My favorite is Benediction. They also have a food truck on premises which has really good burgers and hot dogs (I tried both which were delicious). The prices for beer and food are also good for the quality and quantity you're getting. My coworkers like to go on Fridays and I enjoy going because I like to hang out with them and this place has a nice atmosphere. There's a huge back room and outdoor sitting area with plenty of shaded tables too which is great if you are going with a large group. They also have some cool veteran events if you're interested in them. I haven't gone to any but am interested. read more

I got delicious food from Black Soul outside and even though I'm not a beer drink there were plenty of drink options that are not beer on the menu . This place is Marvelous! I was in search of an appealing spot nearby to pre-game. When I came across Crusader Brewing with a Christmas tree twinkling through the window and I just had to try it. It was a very chill vibe no major bands playIng that day so only the front was open. Sat at the bar and Andy was serving them up cold. Andy is super sweet! She also tells great stories! One story was that the part owner is her brother and most of the workers are family members of hers ! I thought that was so beautiful! She showed me a picture of a delicious soft bread, salty pretzel that she had baked and my mouth watered ; which by the way to could have totally gone for with my beers! I tried the golden cross which was crispy and refreshing! Next one up was the Absolution very fruity and candy like that is right up my alley. I am definitely going back to try the rest! But also Andy said there are bands that play on Saturday and other really cool events where they open up the back a!
