My dog was suffering with what we thought was an ear infection. Renee, at the front desk was excellent. She realized how concerned I was, and in major need of a veterinarian. She was able to give us an appointment right away. Zeus, my Belgian Malinios can be very skittish and scared. Everyone was wonderful with him. He especially loved Samantha, one of the assistance and he was very comfortable with the veterinarian. He let them take him in the back with no problem, he was such a good boy !! Needless to say we have found our new Vet and we are so happy. Zeus had a double ear infection, and one of his ears was really bad. It's been almost a week and he's doing so much better! Great Animal Hospital! TY

I was extremely happy with his personal manner, professionalism and concern for me and my Henry. Unfortunately Henry was worse off than I thought and at Dr. Odelugo's strong suggestion I took him to an animal ER for overnight which verified what he and I feared. My poor Henry passed away at home a few days later. Both he and Dr. Gennace called to offer their condolences. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that! So again this week my Ziggy saw Dr. O (Dr. Gennace is on vacation) and tomorrow my Dolly will go in also. Because of what happened with Henry and because they are both showing things that concern me, I didn't want to wait until she came back. Bottom line: I am now so very grateful to have 2 wonderful veterinarians I can depend on when my pets need veterinary care. And the office staff and techs couldn't be nicer. I am very happy I decided on NAH after my long-time (42 yrs) vet retired.

They send out notices that say call 12 weeks out and I was a little late so now they offer me an appointment 4 months away. Seems like they're trying to get rid of their old clients. After 4 calls, I got a call back scolding me for "bothering" them. This was doctor Staubach. I couldn't believe it but never went back as I didn't want to "bother" them with medical questions about my dogs meds. God forbid you call your vet with a question! Fast forward to yesterday. My employee who is 21 yo took on a geriatric dog for a friend. For a year he card for and loved this dog who also had cancer. Yesterday it was time to make the worst decision ever because the dog had started to become uncomfortable. Being it was about 5:30 pm I googled local vets to see if we could find someone open to take care of the euthanasia. I saw that Parkview was open until 7, so figured I'd give them a call. I mean how could they screw up putting a dog down, right? So I call...they answer...I ask what the charge is for euthanasia and that I have a dog who is suffering. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THE ANSWER I GET!!!! Are you ready? "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that but we aren't taking any new patients" WTF??? New patient????? They would see the dog once to put him down and then never again! Not one single ounce of compassion or a care in the world. They are in the WRONG business. SHAME ON THEM! Stay away, far away. Absolutely disgusting!

They are friendly, affordable, and professional. I was actually surprised at how quickly they were able to do my dog Zero's vaccines, wellness check, and routine bloodwork. One thing to note- I initially wanted to get Zero's teeth cleaned soon and the doctor advised me he does not need it for another 6 months to a year - something rare in medical practice , they usually push you to spend money. It was easy to book an appointment , staff was responsive to my questions, and the facility was clean. Highly recommend!

Dr. Dolin nd his team at Essex have been treating our pets for over four years. When it was time for us to get pet visas so that we could take them to France, we relied on them to help us. We were in great hands! We discussed what we wanted to do with Dr. Dolin several months in advance. He explained what the process was: vaccination requirements, the importance of properly timing them, the paperwork involved, how to best to prepare them for the trip and what to do during the trip to keep them comfortable. The office scheduled the vaccination and follow up appointments for us for all 4 pets. Once our pets had all of their vaccinations, Dr. Dolin filled out all of the paperwork and told us how we should post the applications to Albany. Everything went swimmingly. If you need passports, it is really important to work with a vet who is familiar with the process. Essex are pros at this!

We asked our neighbors and got almost universal recommendations from neighbors to Foster Animal Hospital. We would hear, "Doctor Barrow is excellent." "Doctor Aziz came by my house. He's just so incredible and caring." "Nearly everyone in this block goes to Doctor Aziz." Wow. They were right. What a difference once we got to Foster! After our first visit, we said "Looks like we found our new vet." Everyone is incredibly friendly and has a genuine care for your animal. These people LOVE animals and it shows in everything they do. The vet techs and doctors take as much time as you need, answer your questions, explain everything, and treat pets (and their owners) with love and care. The front desk team is somehow always on-the-ball with scheduling, billing, and reception. We're never waiting to be seen long. They are up-front, honest, fair, and transparent when it comes to costs, which I appreciate. Parking lot is huge and the location is super convenient. It's easy to understand why so many people recommend Foster Animal Hospital and I'm pleased to be one of them. Tell them Malory sent you

Although I am a physician I am not familiar with this procedure in canines, but apparently open incisions are used to cut into the bladder for stone removal. My. Baby girl was discharged in howling pain, which was traumatic for my sister who had retrieved her. She had to return her to demand appropriate pain management for the dog as she was only given gabapentin and Rimadyl (doggie Advil). Even women who have cesarean sections are given strong analgesia for at least 3 days postoperatively. My baby suffered for days. I called the office the following day to get information regarding her diet going forward, as bladder stones can definitely recur. Not only was I not given any information, but I was merely switched to another person who just asked for my financials to make payment for the "extra (much needed) meds." I was given a generic receipt, so my insurance denied the payment, and I was NEVER given the invoice for the surgery, which was almost 3k and paid in full up front. I sent an email requesting the invoice, and to date they refused to respond, so I will not be able to submit for the reimbursement. When my son called the office he was told that they "didn't know" about the insurance- even though it is on file. Although they claim they will submit, I don't have much faith that they will. Further, why was this not handled from the beginning before they tortured my baby? If a human patient is treated this way there are patient advocates & lawyers promptly involved. I guess things are different in Veterinary Medicine.... But animals deserve compassionate care, too. Some people love their pets more than their spouses. In addition, pet parents should be counseled regarding the operative course, what to expect, and how to manage their pets post-operatively at home. My family, and especially my dog, were traumatized by this experience. This vet got good reviews on Yelp for some reason; maybe they are acceptable for routine well care visits and minor illnesses. But if you have a pet with serious illness or require invasive or surgical intervention I encourage you to seek another Veterinary practice.
