Daryl was communicative, responsive and very fairly priced! He did the whole job in 1 hour, and did it well! Often times mobile RV repairman will tell you that you need to fix more things than you actually do, Daryl did the opposite. We asked him to swap out some parts but he checked them and said they were good and don't need to be changed out! Others would have used it as an opportunity to make more, but his honesty is what inclined me to leave him a review. After seeing the quality of trailers coming out the door at Owens, when I returned to New England, I sold my old trailer and ordered one over the phone. Picked it up when promised drove it back to New England, until November when I had my boat hauled, washed and set on the trailer. I had to make 3 or 4 minor and quick adjustments and the boat sat perfectly on the trailer. Kim, Doug and Jeff did everything to make this a great deal and it was. I'll probably never need another boat trailer, but if I do Owens &Sons will be my first stop.

I called this "diesel mechanic" because I was stranded at Walmart parking lot. I thought it was the…read morealternator so I purchased it and had it, if that was the problem. He never checked anything. He just replaced it. I paid him $175 for the service call. He didn't diagnose what was wrong. Now a week later my Engine that has 52,000 miles on it blew up??? I hired him to do several things. I bought all the parts that never needed to be replaced. He didn't put the new battery in or even set up my generator like I asked. He is a mechanic and he doesn't know to put oil in a brand new generator or how to put the wheels on while I sit in my truck on the phone and charge you $200/ hr & just cost me my motor. King is a great kid, Brian talks to him like he's a piece of garbage, orders him around, and doesn't work. I'm paying for 2 people. He couldn't even justify he said that was his helper it's just easier on him. That's supposed to be his partner. I will have pictures in the day light tomorrow of what he did with the new generator I asked from the beginning for him to put it on the front. Where the triangle tongue is. Where people put tool boxes usually. He seriously blocked where I'm supposed to put my scooter in. He didn't even put the oil that came in the box with it along with the wheels because he didn't read the manual. $975 @ 2 days= $1950 all the parts I replaced that didn't need it and now he's cost me a brand new engine. He never finished his job and he sat on his phone all day and then threatened to rip the stuff out if I didn't pay him. Nobody said he wasn't getting paid but he didn't do barely any work. He likes to bark orders and talk down to his "partner" very unprofessional and I am in worse shape because I called them. Please do yourself a favor. Do not hire Brian Childs. He milks the clock at $200/he and yells at King the entire time. Very unprofessional. Very disgusted. Save yourself because he cost me over $5000. What "Mechanic" doesn't check the oil? When you are having a issue that you said you think it was. So you don't check. Change my alternator and now my oil is gone. It just had a oil change??? Something isn't right
