Before going inside, I checked their website to see what the flavor drop was this week. The majority of the cookies did not pique my interest, all except for one. It was very quiet inside, and everything looked well maintained. An employee came from the back and took my order for one snickerdoodle cookie. Within minutes, the employee handed me the warm, boxed cookie. Forget having this cookie for dessert, the smell from the box was enticing. After the first bite, the cookie had a chewy, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and a subtle, sweet-spiced flavor with a light coating of cinnamon sugar. I requested after she did that that changing gloves for my order would be appropriate. She changed them but returned to her monitor and touched it and then went back to my cookies. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. I have to tell you, I just don't get it. I received an email for a free cookie in honor of my birthday. This was my opportunity to try Crumbl, so off I went. I'm not the type of person to walk into a store/restaurant for a free item without making an additional purchase. I ordered two cookies and figured I could try two for the price of one. Four dollars for one cookie! I don't know about you but in my opinion it's a steep price. Sure, the cookie is large, but I couldn't even eat more than one bite due to the overload of sugar. It was so sweet, I mean, it was excessively sweet. One cookie was a banana/pineapple base with vanilla cream cheese icing, topped with nuts. I asked the teenage girl to leave off the nuts. The other cookie was a shortbread base with layers of chocolate and caramel, topped with pieces of Twix candy. The two teenagers working were not friendly, nor helpful. They didn't have a bag for the two individual boxes of cookies. I requested them to be in one box, and they said no. I asked them to substitute chocolate chips or something else to replace the nuts on one of the cookies, and they said no. When I walked into the store, I was not greeted. When I paid, they didn't say thank you. When I showed them my birthday email, they didn't say happy birthday. They have a rotation of assorted cookies that change on a weekly basis. Maybe other flavors are better, but I will not be returning to find out. I appreciate the free birthday cookie, but some things aren't worth it even if it is free. I am aware that people love Crumbl due to its popularity, but we all like different things. This review is simply my own opinion based upon my own experience. For me, it's a hard pass. It was too expensive, too much sugar, along with poor service from the teenagers working the counter. read more

Either you love it or you don't. I find Crumbl cookies to be very delicious, though they are extremely sweet and heavy. I know it's not for everyone, but if you like a dense, moist, sweet and delicious cookies, I would give crumble a try. Some people complain that the cookies taste undercooked, but that's how I like them! And I'm sure they are cooked all the way. They're the opposite of dry. If you like brownies slightly undercooked and mushy in the center - these cookies are for you. The store in Delray was clean and nice. You can watch them making cookies - which is cool. Service was good. Price to be expected for gourmet cookies. I'm definitely a fan and my kids and hubby love them too. read more

Finally they opened up the Crumbl cookies in our hood! For such a long time, they had a sign that said it was coming but it never happened. Then finally it appeared. The prices are high so be prepared (About $4 each). Of course, you can buy a bundle and save a bit of money so that's what we did! We bought 4 and my son had some cookies for other days (he broke them into pieces). It's not my kind of cookies but my teens love them. The cookies are soft and one of the cookies had peanut butter in it (my son is allergic to the pb) so we asked them to put it separately). I was surprised they didn't put the cookie automatically separate even after we told them...The board in the store lists the calorie count. You can either order on the tablet to the right as you walk in or order at the counter. They have 6 different flavors a week so check them out. read more

Six flavors for the week. No client interaction or hellos. You find two tablets on right where you can order merchandise and cookies on your own, no help. You have to pay via credit card and what do you know, it asks for a tip. For what ??? Once order is complete there is no way to see if order is being made. Employees are baking and pay no attention to clients. Finally after 10 minutes your box is finished and handed to you. Employee smiled .... Cookies were unique and delicious as treat. We all liked that each appeared unique, tasted their part, and met flavor profile. We had one of each with Pink Velvet, and Hazzlenut Brownie being best. Crumbl Cookies just didn't impress me much but before I give my cookie assessment one observation; The in store menu board lists the calorie count of the cookies and I was surprised when it stated that the Chocolate Chip cookie had only 180 calories. I thought - okay that's low and especially low given the size of the cookie. I then went on the Crumbl site and saw that the 180 calories is per serving. Huh? Most people would consider a cookie a singular serving, however I can see splitting a cookie but here's where it got really dishonest - Crumbl lists a serving size as a quarter of a cookie. Come on who buys a cookie and only eats one-fourth or who splits one cookie between four people? The Chocolate Chip cookie really has 720 calories and that was lower than a few of their other cookies. I know cookies aren't exactly diet food and I wasn't expecting that (it is a cookie shop) but a little clarity would be nice. I purchased a selection of cookies and though they were all different each one tasted just of excess sugar and it was hard to discern one cookie from another. The Banana Cream Pie cookie didn't taste nearly as good as it sounds and even the texture was off on the cookie. I couldn't distinguish much difference between the Chocolate Chip Cookie and the other cookies I purchased. Crumbl was disappointing. read more
