Overpriced for just a basic cookie. Go to a real bakery you will pay less and get a better quality product.

The inside had a slightly unpleasant smell but not in like a dirty way, more in like a construction/lumber-y way. Other than that, it looked adorable and seemed clean! Cute photo op spots and chairs to hang out in while you wait or while you sip. Due to our schedule that day, I could only stop by in the morning, which seemed an inopportune time for something sweeter like a brown sugar milk tea. I got there shortly after they opened but was welcomed inside with several other guests. Our orders were taken quickly. I had time to peruse the menu and settled on a Golden Pineapple, which has golden tea, pineapple, and chia seeds. I added a scoop of lychee jelly. My drink was made quickly and it was beautiful and quite refreshing. It definitely had a strong pineapple flavor. The lychee jelly was a nice texture and each piece was a nice size. I personally could've done without the chia seeds, but they weren't super bothersome either. Solid fruit teas - wish I'd had time to try a milk tea! Maybe on my next visit to the area. :)

So cute inside & updated, they have couches & tables so if you want to hangout with friends it's perfect! They offer some small desserts/bites & a crazy amount of milk teas, teas, specialty coffees, the list goes on! I got the Taro Milk Tea & of course it was delicious. The menu is huge so when I had questions, the staff was eager to help & explain the menu!

It had been years since we had visited, and we were excited to spend the day walking around the little town and enjoying a meal at one of the places it's known for. We arrived around 11 a.m., and it was the perfect timing. There was plenty of parking, and we were able to walk right in and get seated. After lunch, we spent about an hour shopping around town, and when we came back through, the parking lot was packed and the sidewalks were much busier. I would definitely recommend arriving earlier if you want a more relaxed experience. Even though it was August, the weather was surprisingly beautiful, with temperatures in the low 70s, so we decided to sit out on the veranda. It was such a great choice. The view was peaceful, there was a nice breeze, and it felt like we were enjoying lunch somewhere special rather than just sitting inside a busy restaurant. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our waitress was wonderful--very attentive and friendly. We must have been on the same wavelength because every time I asked for her opinion between two choices, she picked the exact one I was already leaning toward without me telling her. Her recommendations were spot on! We both ordered the trio, which allows you to choose three items from a selected menu. We each started with the white chili, and it was perfect for the cooler summer day. It was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. For my main dish, I chose the turkey melt on a croissant. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious. I'm trying to cut back on carbs, but that plan went out the window because it was just too good. I did save half of the sandwich for the ride home, but there was no way I was leaving that croissant behind! My bestie ordered the chicken salad croissant, and she loved it as well. She said the chicken salad was flavorful, moist, and delicious, and the croissant made it even better. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying dessert. The Blue Owl is famous for their Levee High Apple Pie, but neither of us were really craving apple pie that day. Instead, we went inside to look at the dessert display, and that might have been the hardest decision of the whole visit. Everything looked amazing! I was torn between the chocolate cream pie and the French silk, and ultimately chose the French silk. It was very smooth and rich, and the flavor was delicious. My only complaint was that I personally would have preferred more whipped cream on top, and the crust was a little firmer than I like. It wasn't bad at all--it just wasn't my favorite dessert choice. If I went back, I would probably try something different next time. My bestie chose the gooey butter cheesecake, and that one was a winner. The crust was made from a gooey butter cookie, and it was such a unique and delicious twist. Overall, we had such a great day in Kimmswick. It was the perfect little escape before summer ends and school starts back up. A beautiful walk through a charming town, great conversation with a best friend, and a delicious meal made for a wonderful day. We're already looking forward to coming back!

There's limited seating inside and it seems like they do a large carryout and call in business. I think this may be a small franchise as there are several listed in the area. Service was a little frosty. She didn't offer any information about the products and I felt a little pressured to make a selection. The price was fairly low and she did say she could heat up my kolache if I wished, which I agreed to. It came out quickly. It was a cute little pastry, very uniformly shaped. The yeasty bread around the filling was very soft and aromatic, definitely my favorite part. The eggs were also a pleasant texture and very hot. I didn't detect much cheese and unfortunately I thought the bacon was 1) in very teeny tiny pieces and 2) slightly undercooked -- very chewy and still pale. I tried to eat around it. Overall, good pastry/bread and eggs. I'd probably try a different meat if I ordered one again. The sweet options are also interesting looking!

They microwave them but I was hoping they would be under a heat lamp or something for a more uniform warmth. I could see how this could be an issue so I wouldn't even consider this a real "complaint". 100% recommend this place for a tasty little lunch!
