I was told that we are allowed to call the cruise lines to book our customers and to confirm anything that needs to be confirmed naturally that's the way things are done. ummmm duh...yes thats what agents do call the crusie lines...I WAS scolded for having had called the cruise lines to confirm stuff for my customers really? I was told that I was making the cruise line you look bad because I was calling to confirm stuff my customers.. the owner of preferred has no clue what she's doing. But not preferred travel of Naples they slandered me and defamed me behind my back to the cruise agencies and several of my customers I should have sued for damages but I never did.. I will not be pursuing anything legal but I just wanted everyone to know the stay away from this place they are bad news There are so many other agencies out there to deal with...STAY AWAY!!!

The shuttle is a great way to get on the water and experience a few places. We saw dolphins, bar hopped, and had a wonderful day. Below are the tips I have and pros/cons for your experience. Boat is cash or Venmo and there is a tip bucket for the captain. Captain will make stop recommendations based on time and if the spot has a happy hour. The day you want to go out, double check their Facebook page to make sure there are no weather related cancelations which can happen due to water or wind conditions. There is a step into and out of the boat. One passenger had a very hard time getting out, I am unsure if they returned. See photo for step. Most stops along the route will let you get a to-go cup to finish your drink on the water. The Dock (restaurant) does not do to-go drinks, all other stops do. Boat holds 24 people and they did a good job rotating in/out so nobody was ever declined to board. A couple of the stops are easy walking distance from one another so you could move to another spot within the hour if you didn't want to wait to move onwards, and still be able to catch the next boat. For example, if dropped off at Boathouse, you could walk to Dock and then catch the boat at the city dock 80 minutes later. It gets all three stops for you without burning an hour at each. Favorite stops along the journey were Syren and Cabana bar. Definitely want to come back!

After researching and talking to several travel agents, Mary Ann Ramsey (I think the owner of Betty McClean travel) was the only one who took time to get to know us, our travel habits, our favorite hotels, etc. Since this was the first time we needed to use an agent, we were slightly nervous. But Betty has been 5 star since the beginning. She gave us great advice about where to stay in the Serengeti, and took time to answer all our questions. Once we decided on staying at Singita Faru Faru, Mary Ann and her team made the whole process a breeze. The arranged all our travel, transfers, visa documents and correspondence with Singita. We even got care packages with maps and books on the animals before we left. A week before our departure, we got another care package with all our documents and travel arrangements printed out, currency conversion, information on all the areas we were traveling to, etc. I know she was in touch with the management at Singita before, during and after our stay, and we also got 30 minutes of complimentary spa massages because she is a Virtuoso agent. Also, when we arrived home we had ANOTHER care package with a beautiful book about the Serengeti. We had an amazing service from start to finish!!! Visiting Africa was an amazing experience, and we are so thankful for Mary Ann Ramsey, Linda Walker, Maggie Ziomek and the rest of her team for making our travels so smooth and wonderful. Choose The Pink Flamingo in Ft Myers beach & stayed at their Captiva building in an oceanfront fully equipped Villa. All but the restaurant food was perfect . The girls wanted to try a good car ride and we ended using this company for all our outings but 1. They loved the excitement of riding around town in this comfortable 6 seater golf cart with a tiki roof and Caribbean music and drivers were courteous and friendly . They were also more reasonably priced than their competitors.
