"Everybody look at me because I'm sailing on a boat," I hum, my inner 2000s persona coming out as I board the water taxi. The shuttle is a great way to get on the water and experience a few places. We saw dolphins, bar hopped, and had a wonderful day. Below are the tips I have and pros/cons for your experience. Boat is cash or Venmo and there is a tip bucket for the captain. Captain will make stop recommendations based on time and if the spot has a happy hour. The day you want to go out, double check their Facebook page to make sure there are no weather related cancelations which can happen due to water or wind conditions. There is a step into and out of the boat. One passenger had a very hard time getting out, I am unsure if they returned. See photo for step. Most stops along the route will let you get a to-go cup to finish your drink on the water. The Dock (restaurant) does not do to-go drinks, all other stops do. Boat holds 24 people and they did a good job rotating in/out so nobody was ever declined to board. A couple of the stops are easy walking distance from one another so you could move to another spot within the hour if you didn't want to wait to move onwards, and still be able to catch the next boat. For example, if dropped off at Boathouse, you could walk to Dock and then catch the boat at the city dock 80 minutes later. It gets all three stops for you without burning an hour at each. Came here today for the first time with my sister and her husband Husband and it did not disappoint. Shawn is an amazing Post and we had a blast riding around and hearing about the area. We suggest. you ride the whole trail for a whole hour and then make up your mind where you want to stop. He gives you places where you should go and where you should stop along the way to hit all the happy hours. He really has a crap together. We gave him 10 stars.Syrens had amazing smash burgers and the best Asian slaw we have ever had. Highly recommend. read more

Unbelieveable. As the $40 PP sunset tours leave City Dock, the little Blue Pelican with Capt Andy at its immaculate helm is ready to make a 40 minute loop for only $5 PP. You can pre-pay on the website through pay-pal, too, which makes it really conveneint. Naples Bay Water Shuttle goes to a host of waterside restaurant docks so you can have a progressive dinner with drinks at one stop, dinner at another and dessert at another if you wanted to. Or just stay on board for a relaxing ride under US41 and around to Bonefsh Grill, Boat House, The Dock, BayFront Grill, etc. The last pickup is 9:30 PM so check your almanacs for when the full moon rises, too. It's a wonderful asset to the many fun things to do on a Naples evening. On board, you can buy water for a buck, and beer or wine for $3 out of the Capt's cooler. There's room for up to 24 on unupholstered seats with a stark white canopy overhead and open sides. This little shuttle reminds me of Bogart & Hepburn's "Queen." Awesome. read more

THE COOLEST THING EVER. Every waterfront vacation spot should have this! It's a great little water taxi boat thing. You pay $5 and you have unlimited "on and off" transportation to 8 stops around Naples Bay for an evening. Can I bring a cocktail on board? Yeah! and they will sell you a beer or a glass of wine if you're feeling parched. They give you a list of the times and the stops and they're very punctual, so there's no waiting around. The boat is cute and comfy, and the views are fantastic. The driver is friendly and helpful. Even if you only take the water taxi back and forth from your hotel to a restaurant, it's a great deal. But why would you do that when you can have an epic bar crawl by boat all around Naples sampling a cocktail at each spot and watching the sun go down and the lights come on around the Bay? The worst service ever. They should have stopped on City Duck at 7:15 PM tonight, but they stopped on other side of piers. We waited this shuttle about hour, they moored on their stop, and said that they closed for tonight for private party, but before we called them, they said, that water shuttle still open until 8:45 PM. read more

We really enjoyed the water shuttle. It's worth the money at $10 per person and can get on and off wherever you want. Arrived early and had drinks at The Dock sitting by the water. Our next stop was at Naples Bay Resort and we went to Bonefish Grill. Was very nice bar restaurant. Next stop we chose was Bay Front and went to Tavern on the Bay. Nice sports bar. The next stop we chose was the Boat House. The bartender was very friendly and made it an enjoyable evening. read more

Unless your are looking for a cheap ride across the bay, don't bother. Time schedule is not dependable and if you are not there when he drives by he won't stop. No longer offers drinks on board. Note last stop at Naples pier is not a stop, it's where he parks it for the night. If you're going out for dinner or drinks - plan ahead and plan on being within view of captain up to 15 min ahead of time stop listed. Really not worth the time wasted unless you're bored. read more

For $7, you can "rent" yourself a boat for a tour of Naples Bay! Some other passengers we met on the boat were on their 2nd loop (45 minutes to do all 10 stops). We were enjoying a progressive dinner around the bay and it was so easy to have the taxi for transport (schedules online and in plastic holders at each stop). The captain was friendly and told us the service has been in business 8 years. It runs until about 9 every night except Sunday when it stops at 4:30. The only improvement I could recommend would be to have an additional boat so pickups at each spot would be less than 45 minutes, but that's really not a big deal. Comfortable, easy service around the bay. Highly recommend! read more

A very good idea in theory but the boat did not follow the timetable. We had planned to visit multiple restaurants for drinks and appetizers but because of the lack of timeliness we were only able to visit two places before the taxi stopped running for the night. read more

The price is right for $5.00. But I wish Captain Andy was more hospitable. My family and friends wanted to go on the shuttle so we could view the Mariana and use it as a "pub crawl". I knew that if there were a lot of people in a party that possibly we could not all ride together. When he found out that we were one party he quickly tried to get us off at the first stop. Then once 4 of us got off he right away tried to get the rest off at the next stop. Later when we got back on the boat there were 4 of us and we wanted to make one loop get off at smother spot and walk back. As soon as we got back to the resort he told us that we can not make 2 loops because. He has only one more loop and has 50 people to pick up and drop off. But here's the thing we didn't even go one loop. We told him we were getting off at the next stop. Which he made sure we did. When we asked about the wine he served he said that it's the same wine that we drink at home. We asked again and he finally told us. Because we wanted to know the brand. We said that we wanted it and he said as soon as we were out in the Mariana he would get it for us. Which he did not we had to remind him. It's a great idea but the service was not the greatest. Possibly he was having a bad day but it ruined it for us. read more
