JESUS! You made my day today. I was in the self checkout…read moreline with some chicken that had a coupon attached. A precious attendant asked me if I really wanted to check out here because it takes long to add the coupon to the system as it would have to be done manually. I had already scanned all of my items except the chicken. I told him I'd rather not have to go check out again at a normal line (which is what he suggested). He said "okay, scan the chicken and I can help out when done". I scanned it and as I was finishing he walked away! To the back of the store. Not to be seen. I hit the "help" button and Jesus comes in, I explained the situation and he took the time to add my coupons. What a saint. What a wonderful attitude he had. I told him next time I won't be such a bother and he was so polite telling me it was no issue at all. Please keep him and give him a raise. We need more people like him. BEWARE: make sure you always check your food / snacks from bulk section I bought some of the watermelon chili candies today, ate a couple at home then looked at one of them out of pure randomness and noticed something moving...it was a maggot I never spit out something so fast in my life Was told on the phone there's no way maggots could be in these candies... Went to the store and literally had to show them the whole bucket had more maggots... "best they could do" was refund my $5... Obviously stuff happens but this was one of the grossest experiences in d ever encountered and will be reporting to Texas HHS

How about that hard to find stuff like nutritional yeast or egg replacer or arrowroot starch? NGVC's got it! The store is rather small, but that makes those odd items much easier to find. There is a small fresh produce section, a great frozen dessert section, and a section of frozen meatless "meats". The best thing is that NGVC has great sales on all kinds of nifty items you wanted to try. I've seen vegan cheesecake, flavored almond milk creamers, and kombucha tea drinks on sale over the past week. So if you wanted to try some of these things without making the full investment come here. They also have a rewards program where you earn points each time you shop. Finally, don't forget to bring your own bags. They don't provide paper or plastic here. Oddly enough she had me try some ointment and after rubbing it into my lower back the back pain eased up over the next hour. I'll sleep on a warm heating pad and that will resolve if I practice sitting with better posture. The pain of shingles neuralgia isn't so easy to deal with and my drug plan refused to pay anything on Pregabalin, and Gabapentin only worked for the 1st day for me. I found out both of those meds had some serious side effect issues, so I was elated to find that wide spectrum CBD worked persistently. When I'm done with the wide spectrum CBD gummies I will come back for more and also try the CBD ointment on the affected shingles PHN area. I'll definitely look forward to returning to this store and I'm recommending them to friends.
